Pull Pin. Fall On Grenade.

Via The Raconteur Report

(WRSA) The ‘cure’ – of bankrupting entire industries through the loathsomely-termed “lockdown” – is worse than the threat.
And it increasingly appears that “curve flattening”, as advocated, has failed, with major hospitals continuing to fill to capacity and beyond.

RTWT

Pandemic suppression may indeed fail.

Probably because too little, too late, and kabuki theater screening at airports, when we should have shunted everyone into mandatory quarantine for 30 days before entry was allowed, starting in early- or mid-January.

If only the CDC hadn’t pooch-screwed the test kits so hard that the dog will never walk right again.

So if the answer is to throw caution to the winds, and open all the things, Kung Flu cases, and deaths – even if just a fraction of the whole – will skyrocket, and most importantly, the much higher percent than deaths, people requiring hospitalization, has a very good shot at destroying health care in this country for any area that’s swamped, meaning anything life-threatening after that point will be fatal.

And doctors and nurses, being older than most people entering professions, will die at a higher rate too. If you thought there was a doctor and nurse shortage before, just wait until you lose 10% of them for months, and some permanently. Which also makes salaries for the survivors higher. Adam Smith’s Invisible Hand is going to bitchslap that part of the economy. The only saving grace will be all those people dying might cut the cost of Medicare, and keep Social Security solvent for another few years before it teeters and falls over.

And opening the floodgates again will guarantee that this comes back, in waves, which will knock a given percentage of the country on its ass, over, and over, and over again, just without killing most of them. Let’s sign up for that, please.

With no recognizable healthcare where that happens, probably through next spring, at least.

Riches for me, even 7-day-a-week employment if I want it;
plague, financial ruin, and death for you/us all.

No medical care, as such, for anyone, for perhaps the rest of 2020.

(And if we have back-and-forth quarantines, and then not, and then another wave of outbreak, serially, take a wild guess how many front-line people in health care will say “F**k it; I’m out. Call me back when you’re serious.”? My guess is 25-50%. We’re not draftees, we can walk when we want. And will.)

What’s not to like?

Unless TPTB triage all Kung Flu actual and suspected cases out of the hospitals’ normal system, and open up government ghetto Kung Flu Treatment Centers.

And of course, seeing how the Deep State was weaponized to go after Trump, no one can possibly think that such a pandemic gulag would ever be subsequently weaponized to weed out the Deplorables, can they?

Sheer coincidence, no doubt.

You want RELIABLE, or “offical.” You certainly can’t have both.

From MASH:

Colonel Warton: “Gentlemen, I appeal to your sense of patriotism, your sense of fair play….”

Hawkeye Pierce: “Make up your mind.”

The nuance is died FROM or died WITH. Lots of states that are trying to grift from the American taxpayer, and hysterical blue/white lab coat types looking at this as a way to pad their budgets are going to use the virus as the CAUSE of death. Yiou won’t get honest answers from them.

The hysteria in Aesop’s tone says it all.

anon,
i agree w/you about them padding the cause of death, partly b/c of $,partly b/c politics–
cigs & alcohol stats are padded the same way–
if i’m drunk & you’re sober but you run a light & kill me it’ll go down as alcohol related–
my dad died in jan. at age 87–in 1985 he quit smoking but his death certificate in 2020 says tobacco played a role despite the fact that he outlived his parents & siblings by a large margin–
you can’t trust govt or any organization that is close to govt–

When my father passed he had been having heart issues for years. A genetic pre-disposition to atherosclerosis required a quadruple bypass in his 40’s. During his 50’s he was in and out of the hospital frequently from Congestive Heart Failure–any time the fluid built up he would have labored breathing and risk of cardiac arrest.

He died at 59– because of the fluid surrounding the heart and lungs he “technically” died from pneumonia.. but my father’s cause of death was listed as “pneumonia/flu”.
My sister, who is a nurse, asked if my father had been tested for Flu– the doctor told her, ” no, it is mostly standard practice to write flu also when people die from viral pneumonia.”

So there you have it–and this is universally done.. pneumonia and other respiratory issues CAN be caused by a flu virus, but only a small % of them–however almost all pneumonia deaths are counted as “flu”. Flu requires a specific, positive test to confirm but they don’t do this most of the time but still attribute as the cause.

Probably the same with a lot of Covid deaths

Not sure how reliable and some of the data is not official, but it is updated daily.

Obviously the CDC was too busy worrying about gun ownership, shilling for bigPharma, lying about the dangers of the MMR vaccine, hiding the data about the MMR vaccine, lying in general about vaccine safety, pushing the annual flu vaccines with grossly exaggerated data, worrying about mental health issues, and otherwise doing the bidding of their puppetmasters in the government-protected pharmaceutical cartel….to actually care about doing their REAL job….you know, the one that actually has to do with DISEASE CONTROL. Government is so useless and destructive.

I believe that annual flu shot is nothing more than tap water.

Toxic Vaccine Ingredients: The Devil is in the Details

I’m not an anti-vaxxer; made and used properly, they undoubtedly save lives. But the corruption and greed that has invaded every aspect of our society is here too, and a typical child receives more vaccines for more diseases before three than I ever got in my life, and no reductions are in sight.

“Government is so useless and destructive”

if the cdc had done its job effectively – calling for immediate suspension of travel, implementing immediate wide-ranging quarantines, front-running and mandating vaccinations, etc – would you not complain that government is oppressive and tyrannical?

“if your eyes are open”

my observation is that those who complain most loudly about government oppression don’t hate government at all, rather they hate other people and complain about government to hide that while still venting. in fact they love government, so much so that they want all its powers and authorities concentrated in themselves alone. they wish to be executive and legislative and judge and jury and executioner and priest and prophet and patriarch in and of themselves on their own recognizance, with a six-gun on their hip and no other competing government in sight, so they can act as they please and dispose of as they please any ignorant sheep – which pretty much is everyone else – that get in their way.

What is the number of cases requiring hospitalization and how does it compare to those requiring hospitalization for the flu and subsequent pneumonia?

Where are these numbers?

If the flu starts growing exponentially every flu season and then levels off, why do we HAVE TO assume that this virus will spread exponentially forever until everyone in the world has had it?

If everyone in the world gets it, do we not acquire immunity of some degree?

Who acquires immunity if everyone in the country is under house arrest?

And when we pull the pin, but the grenade doesn’t explode; does blame for the reaction get assigned? Or does everyone get congratulated on doing such a good job of “social distancing”?

“Social distancing” is a nice euphemism for mandatory quarantine of people and businesses.

I sure would like to see some postings from some doctors and nurses from these so-called overflowing hospitals.
I do not know of a single person who even knows of anyone in their worlds that have this virus.

I believe this is overblown and is a distraction from even more sinister things.

I have no doubt that thousands will die from coronavirus. But unless you are hanging out with the nursing home crowd, the immuno-compromised crowd, the highly-networked big-city crowd, or the LGBITQA crowd, you will very likely never be one of them.

FWIW I’m a retired MD who is staying in close touch with family/friends in WA, MA, FL and CT; none of us has yet had any first hand knowledge of a human being with a novel coronavirus infection.

Try contacting Texas. Just had a man, 44yo. no health issues die from the virus. He was straight, no big city connections, married. The I35 corridor from San Antonio to Dallas seems to be rife with infected. But not to worry….he was an anomaly, right?

“Mendez’s wife, Angela Mendez, told the Herald-Zeitung that her husband did not smoke or drink. She said he worked out, ate healthy foods and took vitamins every day.
“You hear that the people who die are older or have previous health conditions but he was neither and the virus took him down hard,” she told the newspaper. “It can happen to anyone. It’s not just a story that happens to people across the world. It’s here and it’s real and it can kill anyone, just like it did my husband.”

I received a much longed-for message from my friend in Columbia, who is working from her home until further notice so as to prevent social interaction while she directs all the people’s eyes to the correct files in the correct databases. Keeping track of the country’s patents on technology is stressful now.. (EC could verify she’s what I say she is but he is one of the smart ones who refused to look at the attached email or link.)

Update? It’s really bad according to her and she thanked me for the toilet paper. This is one of those Cosmic Shifts in time and space where reality suddenly gets flipped and if you do not know how to listen for (and to) that still small voice you will lose your way. What’s her name “Todd” of the Mary Lincoln Todd line just thanked a descendant of Martha Hopkins Brown of the Mayflower Hopkins’ for toilet paper.

You know she works at JHU APL, right? I mean, that is where my son’s three internships were. Oh, but that’s right … Hollywood Rob said I was lying.

Shit, you can find anything on the internet these days.

Some people didn’t realize it is all about the people who have been prisoners of war. People who had a tip probably stocked up and didn’t warn others like I’m doing.

Country people get ready differently than you folks. We buy yeast and cod liver oil to keep the stomach working. Kerosene and wicks to let us see. Crayons and beads to teach the kids to read, write and pray.

I prayed boldly before the throne for 54 days for Stucky so he would not have to see his wife turn into a hateful spiteful demented thing as my father did. While you all mocked me. While it is terrible that she passed the way she did, out of his sight? It is almost poetic that our dear HSF got to meet with him before she passed. I hope Stucky got the Sacred Rock from Granny Fannie’s grave. I keep a pile of them there.

Yesterday, while I was taking some things to people who need them, my son called and talked to his father and said he’s basically working from home until April 15 for extra pay and the company sends food via Uber eats if he wants, not that I’m worried. He has big cans of beans, oats, rice and dry milk in his cabinet. Brat.

Thank you, Lord.
