Wells Fargo forced me to wear a mask in order to come in and shut down my accounts with them. So be it. I have never worn a mask anywhere else and don’t intent to. However, if I am forced, my masked is already covered with big bold letters: #FIREFAUCI

And, yet, when I was at the hospital yesterday here on the OR Coast — even staff weren’t all wearing masks …

As part of the process to even get into the hospital, I had to go through a drive-up window and answer the usual questions — then I had to check in at the hospital after the drive-up approved me (how the hospital personnel would ever know if I had been rejected was totally lacking) — and they were taking our temperatures as we signed in.

I was the 8th person to sign in — and, as I looked at the sign-in sheet, I noticed that I was the 5th person whose temperature was 97.3º. I asked the person checking me in if she had any thought to maybe have her thermometer re-calibrated — or, better yet, replaced — and she just waved me on and said not to question the process.

Sure enough, when I got to where I needed to go for the procedure I needed, I asked the 4 folks there what their temperatures were — and 3 of them said — 97.3º.

Freaking amazing …

As they saying goes … you — can’t — cure — stupid.

Has anyone independently evaluated the ACCURACY and PRECISION of any of the tests that are being used on anyone? Seriously?
