There are hoodlums across America looting and burning down businesses, banging on people’s vehicles while ordering drivers rudely where to drive, bearing down on people to intimidate them into expressing support for this or that cause, and committing other crimes of violence and property destruction.
Many of these hoodlums say things about black lives mattering, white supremacy or systemic racism being bad, reparations for slavery being needed, or some other message related to politics or race. Other hoodlums do not say such things but take their actions while in a group of people, many of whom are saying such.
All that talk concerning politics and race is beside the point. The people taking these actions are hoodlums.
The hoodlums have tended to have the upper hand so far.
Victims have been surprised and unprepared to be victims. Victims have figured the acts of violence and property destruction will soon fade away. Victims have thought police would protect them.
Well, the fade away is not happening, and police have often failed to protect victims from harm.
More and more, potential future victims are preparing for confrontation by the hoodlums.
Some of these hoodlums, and the people with them, like to complain about police brutality. They may soon be on the receiving end of brutality, but not from cops.
When victims fight back, they will sometimes do so disproportionately, and they will sometimes react against people who see themselves as nonviolent protesters or onlookers but are near the hoodlums and appear to be associates of the hoodlums.
The danger of being a hoodlum or hanging around with hoodlums will rise.
Hoodlums should expect their violent and property destructive ways to place them in increasing danger. Giving up on those activities can help them protect themselves from danger.
Meanwhile, protesters and other individuals who find themselves in apparent association with hoodlums can also expect that such activity will involve increasing danger. They can practice greater care regarding with whom they associate and where they choose to be. Their safety may depend on it.

The time will come (and sooner than you think) when prosecutors will think many times before they try to bring charges against law-abiding citizens defending their lives, families and property. I have lived in places where liberal and leftist judges paid dearly for their arrogance in ignoring Marxist violence and tried to punish the good and decent. When the dam breaks, gentlemen, don’t bother begging for mercy. The worm turns quickly, believe me. Once you have destroyed respect for the law and legitimate authority things go south fast, especially for the likes of you. And you can’t hide. As for the police, I suggest that they get their act together. I have always supported law enforcement but individual cops had better get their minds right. Kneeling, arresting white folks and letting rioters go, standing around while businesses are burned to the ground? Sorry. The day will come when you are confronted by angry and armed citizens and they will simply tell you to get the hell out of the way. Threats of arrest are liable to draw a violent reaction. Just as in the military, a police officer derives his authority from legitimate authority. His badge and gun are symbols and tools, no more. Once the police fail to protect the middle class (and it is the middle class that created and supports the police) they will lose all authority and legitimacy. If they try to use force to impose that lost authority they will become no different from the rioters. I hope to God they realize this. Five cops can easily over power a drugged out black criminal. Facing down 100 armed and enraged white men, many of them veterans, is something else. Remember whose side you are on. You do not work for liberal judges and prosecutors. Like Lord Nelson at Copenhagen, you have a right to turn a blind eye. Learn when to do it.

I’ve seen an otherwise well-socialized, well adjusted and obedient dog slip up and nail someone (usually a child) with a fear bite a couple of times. Chances are that dog isn’t intrinsically afraid of a 40 lb child, but when the child got his face too close to the dog’s face, the dog perceived the child as a threat and reacted to it. Antifags and Blacklootersmatter folk would be well advised that most of us that love our families and work for a living will not hesitate to react with deadly force when confronted with deadly force, peace-loving and law-abiding natures notwithstanding.
If you put a saucepan of water on the stove and light the burner you’ll notice that it takes a while for anything to visibly happen even though the flame rages.
The first sign of activity is little bubbles that start to appear followed by more and larger bubbles until you have a roiling boil.
I believe we’re at the point of little bubbles, but their frequency and magnitude are increasing. Trouble is, the time frame between little bubbles and roiling boil can be very short.
If TPTB turn down the heat, and quickly, we may not get to the roiling boil, but I wouldn’t put any money on it.
My money is on someone(s) turning up the heat.
When is the trial for the cop involved with the George Floyd incident?
If he is acquitted of murder or is just charged with some “negligence” crime, the roil will come quickly.
No idea when the trial starts – not before the election – but there’s a decent chance that Keith Ellison overcharged him on purpose in order to get acquittal and more rioting. Pity it can’t happen before the election, but it looks like Trump is going to win anyway.
