Does this guy even know what year it is? Good lord. We might as well be doing Santeria ceremonies for all the good this nonsense is doing.
Well shit for brains, if you say the mask is even more effective at preventing Covid-1984 than a vaccine, then I guess no one has to take the vaccine and we can open everything up right away full capacity as long as everyone wears their mask.
The double speak, flip flopping, and utter hypocrisy is breathtaking in it’s scope with these people.
They literally just wake up and make up whatever they want to say and the zombies all over buy it.

I especially enjoyed the picture of him with his nose exposed while wearing his diaper.

I’m going out to dinner tonight, first time in months, I hear that I have to wear a mask to enter the place, but as soon as I sit down, it is ok to take it off.

phew, good thing we have smart people looking out for us.

and nobody can sit at the bar, to get a drink while they wait, cause, you know, the virus loves bars.

I heard that the virus is voting democrat this election…

Went grocery shopping after a LONG time. The local city has extended the mask deadline date to next month.
Luckily, I live near the state border and crossed over to the saner side of life.
While the store selected had a sign out front saying masks were required, there were some people coming out without them.
I walked in with no mask and received no hassles or stares, did my shopping, and left.
You could say it was a breath of fresh air.
Also, I guess the local city (and state) don’t want my sales tax dollars.

Those of us who live near state lines have a lot of say about where our sales tax $ go. I buy a lot in MS because the taxes are lower.

Don’t give up the zero state income tax in TN. Mixed tax bag in MS, at least that’s what I learned 40+ yrs ago from my senior level Public Finance class in Starksville.

It will require a Constitutional Amendment to add a state income tax. Sales taxes are pretty high (9.75% on goods and 6.5% on groceries), but you can control much of what you buy.

The downside of no income tax is it is a magnet for big government types to move to the state and demand more services, which cost more money.

Great, but didn’t the whole TennCare crap institute a statewide tax? BTW, Marsha Wedgworth Blackburn was a good Chi Omega at Starksville and a Little Sister of our frat.

TennCare is part of medicaid and is funded by general revenue. It got out of control and sucked up almost 25% of the state budget pretty quickly.

Went to a TEA Party leadership meeting with Marsha as our guest speaker. Things were going pretty well until one of the more vocal guys asked her “When will it be time for us to bring our AR’s to DC and clean up the mess?” You should have seen her. The blood drained from her face. Her assistant whispered into her ear and “she had to go to another meeting.” Overall, it was pretty damned funny to see her come face to face with a voter who was ready to go 1776 on TPTB.

I’ll bet she was a looker back then. Reminds me of an old song – Chi O, Chi O, it’s off to bed we go…

Colorado has no state sales tax on groceries (but does tax stuff like soap and prepared deli food); counties, cities, towns, and villages have the option to tax groceries or not. It tickles me pink to drive my internal combustion vehicle over to the next town and see on my register receipt: “Tax =$ 0.00”. Whenever I contact our mayor he always gets reminded of how happy I am to grocery shop elsewhere. The nitwit and his gang of thieves on council had actually considered a plan to rebate grocery tax to certain classes. My suggestion to simply eliminate the grocery tax for everyone was, of course, never answered.

Anybody with a knowledge of filtration understands that these face masks will NOT protect a person from a virus. What the Dr. seems to be saying is the vaccine will not work and is even more dangerous.

We buy 1,000+ N95s annually, as we do mold remediation. On eaxch box it is stated “these do not prevent the spread of disease.

I don’t wear a mask , I hold it in my hand for the appearance of complying. First time today, a shopper told me I should have it on to which I replied, “Bite me”. They didn’t say a thing and went on about their business.

Ernst Junger wrote a book, “The Worker” some 90 years ago that told of a highly controlled dystopian society in which the citizens were required to wear a mask. Not a new concept of control.

CO2- Maybe, “Bite me Karen”? har, har……

Remember the “phone cops” back in the 70’s? We should call these assholes the mask cops and flash them the three finger salute. I don’t care if I get locked up over this crap, it’s GETTING REALLY OLD.

Spent a minute or two in the Navajo nation the last couple weeks. Those folks on the rez are bonkers about the masks. That said, they’re a target for the covid, simply because the rate of obesity there seems to be higher than average and fitness seems like a low priority. I guess people in generally poor health ought to be concerned about a manmade virus designed to attack the infirm. Better still, they’d quit eating all the processed crap from the store, stop “eating right” and really start eating a diet designed to support human health.
