Diaper Short

Via Eric Peters Autos

Today – just a few hours ago – I witnessed the ne plus ultra of “masking” psychosis.

I was at the gym, doing some triceps pull-downs on the universal machine. Another guy – he looked to be in his 30s – approached the machine, wearing his special protective face amulet. This, by itself, is  no longer remarkable and likely something we’ll be seeing for years to come, if not forever. A large percentage of the population has been so PTSD’d by two years of it’s-gonna-get-you “reporting” about the “virus” that they will never have the courage to remove their special protective face amulet. Where Have All the Smiles Gone?

By Norman Van Franklin

Little Billy was born this way. Not that it mattered. His short life had been spent going from one talking Doctor to the next. His Mother, had steadfastly refused the advice given by PHDs and school personal alike. Young Billy would never be put on mind-altering drugs, as long as she had a say in the matter.

The teacher sat gazing out the window at the low winter sun. She thought of all the things being a teacher entailed, and how she loved the work. These children looked up to her. As she drew some doodles on a paper, she reflected on how difficult the job had become in these last two years.

“Miss Maya,” came the words from a whiney young voice. Standing before her was one of her smartest students, little Greta Yakup. The teacher puts down her pen, and closes her notebook.

“Yes, Greta what is it?”

“It’s Billy. He says he won’t be wearing the mask anymore. He is putting us all in danger.”

It’s Long Past Time to Dump the Masks

Via Brownstone Institute

The face mask debate is unfortunately again rearing its ugly head in many parts of the country, and it’s becoming ever more clear that it will never entirely go away. Even as OMICRON confers some form of natural immunity to large segments of the population before it begins its fade into the sunset, the next sniffle-causing variant will inevitably come along and again compel paranoid hypochondriac leftists to cover their faces and hysterically demand you do so as well. Sadly, manufactured fear over Covid has truly broken so many people who will never, ever be the same.

Our side, the side of truth, data, and reality, can point to pre-Covid studies that showed masks to be non-effective against virus spread ‘till the cows come home. Theirs can point to non-randomized controlled ‘studies’ (you know, because having a control group in a ‘pandemic’ would be ‘unethical’) that use mannequins, models, or super-cherry-picked snippets of data from areas and time periods that they think bolster their narrative. But it seems that neither can land the deciding blow, both because of the lack of correctly administered randomized controlled studies in the Covid era and also because of the purportedly ‘common sense’ perception that that piece of cloth over everyone’s face is a ‘zero-cost’ intervention (it isn’t) that is totally worth it even if it helps a little (it doesn’t).

Everything you need to know about masks

Via Steve Kirsch

My friend, Tyson Gabriel, is an expert on masks. P100 respirators stop COVID, but only for the wearer. No public health official knows that.

Tyson Gabriel is the smartest guy I know when it comes to masks. He did an excellent video series on showing that masks don’t work which you can watch here:

I spoke to him today and here are the key things you should know about masks.

A STRANGE GAME

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” ― John F. Kennedy

“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”Buckminster Fuller

The takeover of the country by an amalgamation of bad characters representing fascist corporatism, collectivism, billionaire oligarchs, social media tyrants, pandemic peddlers, and Deep State snake oil surveillance state salesmen has marked a turning point for the country. Battle lines are being drawn, a propaganda war is already being waged, enemies are preparing for conflict, rage is rising, and the country is headed towards some level of dissolution.

Events since the inception of the release of the China virus from the Wuhan bio-weapon lab, have been accelerating towards an epic struggle between those constituting the true power in the country and those they consider deplorable and undeserving of respect or a voice in how the country is governed. The shadowy figures behind the curtain of Bernays’ invisible government have revealed themselves and no longer fear the plebs they rule over, as their sociopathic hubris has convinced themselves they are invincible.

Costs Must Be Weighed Against Benefits

Editor’s Note: Walter Williams passed away last Wednesday. You can read our tribute to him here.

Costs Must Be Weighed Against Benefits

One of the first lessons in an economics class is every action has a cost. That is in stark contrast to lessons in the political arena where politicians virtually ignore cost and talk about benefits and free stuff. If we look only at the benefits of an action, policy, or program, then we will do anything because there is a benefit to any action, policy, or program.Think about one simple example. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that 36,096 Americans lost their lives in motor vehicle traffic crashes in 2019. Virtually all those lives could have been saved if we had a 5 mph speed limit.

FOURTH TURNING ELECTION YEAR CRISIS

“The next Fourth Turning is due to begin shortly after the new millennium, midway through the Oh-Oh decade. Around the year 2005, a sudden spark will catalyze a Crisis mood. Remnants of the old social order will disintegrate. Political and economic trust will implode. Real hardship will beset the land, with severe distress that could involve questions of class, race, nation and empire. The very survival of the nation will feel at stake. Sometime before the year 2025, America will pass through a great gate in history, commensurate with the American Revolution, Civil War, and twin emergencies of the Great Depression and World War II.” – Strauss & Howe The Fourth Turning

“There is no darkness but ignorance. The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose.” William Shakespeare

I read The Fourth Turning in 2006, after seeing it described in John Mauldin and Doug Casey’s newsletters as an uncannily accurate assessment of American history based upon generational configurations which recur on eighty-year cycles, a long human life. Strauss and Howe wrote the book in 1997 and used their generational theory to predict the Crisis that would begin in the mid-2000’s and come to an indeterminate climax in the mid-2020’s.

Why Are Fauci, Redfield, and the Presstitutes Deceiving Us About Masks?

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

Twitter, the Censor and Explainer Controller for the Deep State, removed a tweet from White House Covid adviser Dr. Scott Atlas who reported accurately that the masks people are wearing do not prevent the transmission of Covid-19.

As I have reported to you from the beginning, the only mask available to the public that provides protection against Covid is a N95 mask. Even this mask does not provide 100% protection. The masks people are wearing provide zero protection.

I THOUGHT MASKS WORKED

Why Face Masks DON'T Work, According To SCIENCE in 2020 | Prevention, Plan for life, Face mask

“We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection. Public health authorities define a significant exposure to Covid-19 as face-to-face contact within 6 feet with a patient with symptomatic Covid-19 that is sustained for at least a few minutes (and some say more than 10 minutes or even 30 minutes). The chance of catching Covid-19 from a passing interaction in a public space is therefore minimal. In many cases, the desire for widespread masking is a reflexive reaction to anxiety over the pandemic.”

New England Journal of Medicine, 2020; 382:363

These days everyone imagines himself or herself to be a scientist. Scolds, who labor under the delusion that reading the New York Times is equivalent to holding a doctorate, unceasingly inflict on us finger-wagging lectures about how we need to “listen to the science” when it comes to masks. Apparently “masks work” because “The Science™” says so. Newsflash: these media figures and self-styled authorities aren’t (largely) scientists and know not of what they speak. As a scientist myself I feel compelled to set the record straight on what is, and is not, science. For those degreed scientists out there parroting the mask propaganda: for shame, you should know better. Cherry picking, selection bias, anecdotal data, and dubious models have no place in the arsenal of scientific inquiry.
