Today – just a few hours ago – I witnessed the ne plus ultra of “masking” psychosis.
I was at the gym, doing some triceps pull-downs on the universal machine. Another guy – he looked to be in his 30s – approached the machine, wearing his special protective face amulet. This, by itself, is no longer remarkable and likely something we’ll be seeing for years to come, if not forever. A large percentage of the population has been so PTSD’d by two years of it’s-gonna-get-you “reporting” about the “virus” that they will never have the courage to remove their special protective face amulet.
He wore it – until he was ready to do a set. Then he removed it. Did a set. Breathing in – and out – while he did it. Then pulled the rumpled, probably snot-shellac’d special facial amulet from his pocket and reinstalled it.
I watched him do this routine three times.
Try – it is hard – to imagine the thought processes of such a person. The dread “virus” is in the air; the facial amulet wards it off, so the wearer believes. But then, he takes it off. Inhales and exhales, unprotected by his holy amulet. Does he think the “virus” enters a kind of holding pattern while he finishes his set? Like in the old Road Runner cartoons, where the swarm of bees would just freeze – briefly – before stinging poor old Wiley Coyote?
He caught me looking at him. I made the following sound, figuring it might sound familiar to him:
He just looked at, very much like the sheep in the video above.
And they ask me why I drink . . .

It’s either the very old wearing them or people that or in the their 20s and 30s. The old I sort of get it. The young pretty much are indicating the years of indoctrination of public education and brain washing.
I see some kids wearing them on the bus and even when they get off, and masks on buses mandates ended a couple of months ago here in Anchorage.
I drive past my local high school on the way home and see teenagers walking alone with a mask on outside. We are not teaching critical thinking.
When I recently saw a 30 something guy on a motorcycle with a mask
but no helmet, I knew the brainwashing was complete for a sizeable
chunk of the woolen herd.
More prevalent among blacks by my observation.
“The old I sort of get it. ”
Speaking as someone old enough to have been immunized against measles by . . . measles: I don’t. Not even sort of.
Older neighbor wears a mask religiously. My brother asked him if he ever intends to take it off, and he responds “I can’t afford to get sick, I have heart problems.” This older, perpetually masked, neighbor is also triple-jabbed.
He is super-paranoid about Covid because of his heart issues; yet he takes an experimental medicine the main side effects of which affect the heart. And he does this three times, thus adding to his risk.
No, I don’t “get it” either.
What I do get is that most people are brainwashed and will believe and do whatever their television tells them to believe or do.
If the state media told these people that water hemlock is an absolute cure/prophylactic for Covid (and it is), there’d be tens of millions of hemlock drinkers.
and no one will ever be able to convince him that reducing the oxygen and increasing the CO2 intake is even worse for his heart.
ditto, from a very old white guy.
I see the masks around town, truth is I’ve grown fond of them, they help point out the morons. Easier to avoid the stupid that way.
I saw a guy (fat, maybe 50) riding a bike yesterday with a mask. Unless he was wearing it for warmth (I think it was under 40F here in Minneapolis), he was clearly insane. I also saw a girl of perhaps ten years wearing one in the POOL at the YMCA. She seemed to be Hispanic. I thought only white people (AWFL’s and their castrati men) were susceptible to that particular psychosis. They’re all around us, and they’re still allowed to make decisions – like prohibiting family members (even parents) from visiting those in the hospital. Chris Cilliza (CNN nutcase) has an article on RealClearPolitics where he attributes Biden’s crashing approval rate among young people to an inadequate response to Covid-19. What fucking planet does that guy live on?
Articles like that are phoney just filler pieces of complete bullshit.
Jaya Cat explains why we drink in his song Peace and Love.

Here in Northern Florida the only people wearing them if at all are yankee or euro tourists. I openly laugh at them.
Look at it this way:
1. Masks accumulate bacterial, fungal and viral matter that you suck back in. Healthy, right?
2. They reduce O2 intake & force CO2 back into your lungs. (BTW, operating rooms increase O2 to 25% or so to compensate).
3. After 10-15 my inutes of use even a N95 accumulates so much moisture that #2 above is factored higher.
Most of the maskers & -ettes in the Lowcountry are Afro & PHAT. Heart problems, anyone? Couple that with diabetes.
Let nature take its course. The sooner the better.
Publix® this afternoon was enough of a zoo to give a healthy person a heart attack.
Finally, it pains me to see an attractive woman wearing a mask.
Because I like it.
why you drink, you mean?
