Censoring Social Media to Prevent Bank Runs

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

They censored social media to prevent the public from learning the truth about COVID, vaccines, and accompanying mandates. They censored social media to prevent the public from learning about Hunter Biden’s laptop before his dad could be installed at the POTUS. They censored anyone who questioned the election or Biden’s crime family and deliberately leaked Republican voter information. The extreme censorship on social media by biased fact-checkers expanded beyond the US. So it comes as no surprise that the government would like to censor “misinformation” that could lead to a bank run.

America’s Ruling Regime Doesn’t Fear Disinformation. It Fears Truth.

Guest Post by Ben Weingarten

Casting critics as terrorists and threatening to sic the most powerful, pervasive and sophisticated security state in the history of the world on them is of course not about defending democracy or protecting the truth — it’s about intimidating democratic opposition into silence and submission to an official narrative.

In Joe Biden's America, attempting to cancel Joe Rogan is just counter-terror policy.

In Joe Biden’s America, attempting to cancel Joe Rogan is just counter-terror policy.

This is because our ruling class — in the name of “defending democracy” — classifies those who question the regime on any matter of consequence as a threat to the homeland, and pledges to pursue them accordingly.

Our ruling elites have engaged in an overt war on wrongthink masquerading as a domestic counter-terror mission since at least Jan. 6, 2021.

As part of this effort, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently issued a speech-chilling National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin.

It claims the U.S. is in a “heightened threat environment fueled by several factors, including an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories, and other forms of mis- dis- and mal-information.”

THEY WANT US TO FEAR ROOM 101

“You asked me once, what was in Room 101. I told you that you knew the answer already. Everyone knows it. The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.” – O’Brien – Orwell’s 1984

GreatWritersFranzKafka: George Orwell`s 1984: The Downward Journey by Brian W. Aldiss Fauci pressed over U.S. funding of cruel medical experiments on dogs and puppies; Beagles locked in cages with sand flies, vocal cords removed | National | stardem.com

“’By itself,’ he said, ‘pain is not always enough. There are occasions when a human being will stand out against pain, even to the point of death. But for everyone there is something unendurable — something that cannot be contemplated. Courage and cowardice are not involved.” – O’Brien – Orwell’s 1984

When the story broke about mass murderer Anthony Fauci funding the torturing and killing of puppies in Tunisia, with the picture of the puppies with their heads in cages so they could be eaten alive by hungry sandflies, after having their vocal cords slit (so the poor “experimenters” wouldn’t be subject to the harrowing howls of the dying puppy beagles), my mind immediately jumped to the climactic scene in Orwell’s 1984.

It’s funny, but it seems like I can find analogies to Orwell’s dystopian nightmare on a daily basis while observing how our government operates today. Room 101, introduced in the climax of Orwell’s masterpiece, is the basement torture chamber in the Ministry of Love. This is where the Party subject prisoners to their own worst nightmares, fears, or phobias as part of their intention in breaking the spirit of all dissenters. Resistance is futile when faced with the pure terror of your most horrible fears being realized.

In America Truth Is the Hardest Thing to Find

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

The FBI and a grandstanding acting US attorney, Michael Sherwin, are after Trump supporters. The FBI has arrested 150 people for their alleged role in the alleged “Capitol riot.”  The fact that there was no Capitol riot doesn’t matter.  No facts matter.  This is a shut-down-all-opposition-to-The Establishment operation.  Sherwin is doing his best to concoct a “conspiracy” case against the arrested, as those arrested are not guilty of anything real.  No one broke into the Capitol.  A few were allowed in by the Capitol police.  Videos show the police opening the doors, people entering in single file, walking around, and exiting.

FOURTH TURNING ELECTION YEAR CRISIS

“The next Fourth Turning is due to begin shortly after the new millennium, midway through the Oh-Oh decade. Around the year 2005, a sudden spark will catalyze a Crisis mood. Remnants of the old social order will disintegrate. Political and economic trust will implode. Real hardship will beset the land, with severe distress that could involve questions of class, race, nation and empire. The very survival of the nation will feel at stake. Sometime before the year 2025, America will pass through a great gate in history, commensurate with the American Revolution, Civil War, and twin emergencies of the Great Depression and World War II.” – Strauss & Howe The Fourth Turning

How a contested election could send the U.S. into a constitutional crisis - MarketWatch It's not the chairman of the Joint Chiefs' job to remove Trump from office if he won't leave.

“There is no darkness but ignorance. The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose.” William Shakespeare

I read The Fourth Turning in 2006, after seeing it described in John Mauldin and Doug Casey’s newsletters as an uncannily accurate assessment of American history based upon generational configurations which recur on eighty-year cycles, a long human life. Strauss and Howe wrote the book in 1997 and used their generational theory to predict the Crisis that would begin in the mid-2000’s and come to an indeterminate climax in the mid-2020’s.

The New Censors

The New Censors

Do you say what you think? That’s risky! You may get fired!

You’ve probably heard about a New York Times editor resigning after approving an opinion piece by Senator Tom Cotton that suggested the military to step in to end riots.

Many Times reporters tweeted out the same alarmist wording, “Running this puts Black NY Times staffers in danger.”

Really? How?

In my new video, Robby Soave, a Reason Magazine editor who writes about young radicals, explains, “They only claim it because that’s their tactic for seizing power in the workplace.”

They learned this tactic from so-called woke professors and fellow activists at expensive colleges, says Soave.

No Comments, Either

Guest Post by Eric Peters

I have found out something interesting I think everyone needs to know about. It’s not merely my own “dangerous and derogatory” commentary which has caught the eye of sauron.

Your comments as well.

Many of you probably already know or have noticed that Big Media outlets – even CNN – used to allow free and open comments on the articles they published. They no longer do. Or they require you to “sign in” via Facebook before you’re permitted to comment. And the comments are heavily redacted.

Progressives Officially Redefine ‘Hate Speech’ As ‘Speech We Do Not Like’

Via The Babylon Bee

U.S.—A coalition of groups and organizations has come together to officially redefine hate speech as “speech we don’t like.”

The coalition included several dictionaries, the SPLC, the majority of colleges and universities in the nation, several Big Tech companies like Google, Apple, Facebook, and Twitter, and the Democratic Party. Representatives from each of these groups came together at Harvard University to vote on and ratify the proposal officially changing the definition of “hate speech” to “speech we don’t like.”

Will the Censors Win?

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

The Internet is seen as a savior that will take over the function of honest reporting and free speech now that the print and TV media and NPR serve as the Ministry of Propaganda.  This is true only if people migrate from Google, Facebook, Twitter, and so forth, to the alternatives that do not block content at odds with official explanations.

Unfortunately, people tend to be stuck in their ways. They are accustomed to Google, Facebook, and Twitter, don’t know of the alternatives, and if they did, are disinclined to spend their time to set up differently.

By What Authority?

Guest Post by The Zman

When you start out in your life, you have no conception of right and wrong, for the same reason you don’t understand string theory. Babies start out with the absolute minimum of knowledge to live. Just as you had to learn to tie your shoes, you had to learn the difference between right and wrong. There are things you should not do and things you should not say. Similarly, there are things you should say or do. Morality is the set of social rules you initially learn from your family and then from your community.

Jordan B. Peterson’s free speech fight: Author plans to ditch Patreon as censorship battle rages

Via The Washington Times

"12 Rules for Life" author and clinical psychologist Jordan B. Peterson is attempting to create a platform for intellectuals that is a "better alternative" to Patreon. He plans to move the project forward with the popular YouTube pundit Dave Rubin within the coming weeks and into early 2019. (Image: YouTube, Jordan B. Peterson).

“12 Rules for Life” author Jordan B. Peterson is fed up with the questionable practices of tech giants when it comes to honoring the idea of free speech.

The recent decision by crowdfunding platform Patreon to remove popular YouTuber Carl Benjamin, aka Sargon of Akkad, may have been a free-speech tipping point for the clinical psychologist. Mr. Peterson and fellow pundit Dave Rubin of YouTube “The Rubin Report” announced plans to build a “better alternative” for intellectuals and content creators.

“We’ve been engaged in lengthy series of email exchanges with all of the people in our network, and no one is happy at all with what’s been happening,” Mr. Peterson said a joint video released Sunday. “We’ve been determining what our options are. We looked at Subscribe Star, but it looks like PayPal decided to cut funding out from them.”

The Crackdown Continues: Twitter Suspends Libertarian Accounts, Including Ron Paul Institute Director

Via ZeroHedge

One day after what appeared to be a coordinated attack by media giants Facebook, Apple, Spotify and Google on Alex Jones, whose various social media accounts were banned or suspended in a matter of hours, the crackdown against alternative media figures continued as several Libertarian figures, including the Ron Paul Institute director, found their Twitter accounts suspended.

On Monday, Twitter suspended the editorial director of antiwar.com Scott Horton, former State Department employee Peter Van Buren, and Dan McAdams, the executive director of the Ron Paul Institute.
