If the demographics of the gay population weren’t so tilted to ‘favor’ a certain tribe, no one would have cared about hiv/aids (originally gird — ‘gay immune response disease’ just wouldn’t inspire the taxpaying US Citizens to put out their money).
The way I saw this go down was 1) Trump thought it might work, and 2) Phrma couldn’t make a killing on it because it’s been around for 50 years or something and it’s REAL cheap. So they (big Phrma) put their PR machinery in gear using TDS and phoney trials where they gave it to patients who were too far gone.
