I thought it would be a good idea to write a warning post after my latest article. As things get dicier during this Fourth Turning, the risk to commenters and TBP will ratchet up. We just saw that WordPress is pulling the plug on Conservative Treehouse and they did the same to Western Rifle Shooters a few months ago.
Most technology companies lean left. If Biden/Harris have their way they will censor all opposing points of view and try to destroy those who inconvenience them by publishing truth.
We need to walk a fine line between truth telling and someone accusing us of fomenting insurrection. Predicting violence and inciting violence are two different things. There were a few comments on the Illegitimate President post that could be construed as recommending violence against our opponents. I deleted them to protect the commenters and TBP from any legal action.
This is not an unfounded worry. We have joked about the Chatham Police Dept. for years, but it wasn’t a joke at the time. Stucky made an off-hand comment in a thread about some asshole in Chatham, NJ. It was clearly just a joke where he said he was going to kick somebody’s ass. Somehow the dude saw the comment and called the Chatham police to report a threat against him.
The Chatham police used the info on the site to track me down and ask me for info about Stucky. I said I didn’t know who he was and didn’t require any registration info for commenters. Somehow they got his IP address and tracked him down. They called him down to the station and interrogated him and gave him a stern warning.
And this was years ago, when the environment wasn’t nearly as toxic. We have many enemies out there looking to bring this site down. I ask you to not make any comments that could be construed as a violent threat. It’s for your own protection and the site’s.
It’s not about restricting free speech. It’s about keeping this place as a community as we enter the worst part of this Fourth Turning.

Great advise. I’ve said all along and I still maintain that non-compliance is vastly preferred and more effective than violence. King and Gandhi showed the way. If anybody feels the need to make threatening online comments, they should go look for some Antifa site and make them there so that they’ll be left completely unfettered by our government entities, such as they are.
I have an easy job commenting. I just have to ditto what CCR said. I have been very wary about making comments that could be construed as a threat. I do not threaten anyone. I only protect my family, myself and my property.
I moved my family to a very rural state buried in the woods on a dirt road. I am well stocked and well armed but I pray to God the ammo stays on the shelf.

As for Sundance there are two ways to use WordPress. One is to host your blog or website on WordPress.com which is a platform owned by Automatic, the owner of WordPress. The other is to only use the WordPress software and choose any one of thousands of hosting companies to provide a server.
Back 10 years ago when CTH started it was fairly common for bloggers to go with option 1 for a variety of reasons. Obviously if Sundance could’ve seen 10 years into the future he/she would have made a different choice.
I’ve built hundreds of websites using WordPress but have never considered using wordpress.com to host. That’s because as far back as 2008 or so people in my industry (SEO), even those who were Google fanboys, were starting to realize endgame of control.

Many who have been deplatformed had previously set up secondary sites. When utube took down a slew of proTrump accounts many have moved to Clouthub.
While you may not prevent the site from being taken down, you can proactively set up an account there or another conservative friendly host so you can maintain contact with TBP family.
Don’t go to clouthub. Apparently, IBM has some ownership of that site and they shut down Brenden Dilley and several others who were using it.
They took down video. Blogging is still there. For video they are moving to Rumble until Clouthub finds a new host for video bloggers.
I am in a quandary as to how the commies control the entire internet. Why don’t conservatives just set up a free net? I always thought the military controlled the net. I speak not just of sites but a alternate net or is that possible?

I can totally understand not advocating illegal violence. That being said, self-defense is clearly a form of violence and is clearly legal.
Unfortunately, there is a large faction of closet communists in the Democratic Party, and the trend is clearly NOT in our favor. So we should be prepared.
Looking forward, I see several definite possible scenarios. Either the USA turns into the USSA with flat out tyranny, a revolution (low probability due to the divided population), a civil war versus balkanization, or an Irish Republican Army type insurgency.

A timely word of caution from Admin. I am sure he won’t mind if I add to it. First, a gentleman never makes idle threats. We are all enraged by what has happened and it is perfectly normal to want to express ourselves. Often enough we have few others in whom we can confide. That said, our enemies are no gentlemen. They are the same skulking cowards and vermin they have always been. They have no intention of fighting you like men; they plan on hiring others to do their dirty work. Admin’s story about the New Jersey police is instructive. The time will come when the police, like the military, will have to choose sides but that day is not here yet. If some greasy lawyer demands they pursue you for alleged “threats”, they will.
Warning your enemies that you have them in your sights is the most stupid thing imaginable. Let them be blissfully ignorant until that lawsuit – or whatever – hits them in the face.

We must be aware that these sites will garner the attention of people would will take offense that they even exist, so we should start to move towards finding ways to be cohesive and build a community geared towards being informed and prepared!

On screwtube channels that are still trying to get truth out, the ones that are still up, during a livestream they have seen “This comment deleted by Google Admin”. Then the streamer host, for instance Brian at High Impact Tv was heard to say “WTF! I’ve never seen that before!”.
I have no idea if google admin is AI or not. I wouldn’t think they would have enough live people to monitor. So it’s probably AI. Keywords are what they look for. Some get around those by learning very quickly what those keywords are and using code. For example 5G becomes “the big 57”. G being the 7th letter of the alphabet.
I’m not advocating using code language to advocate violence. I’m saying that it’s not the only thing that is causing channels and blogs to be taken down. I’m commenting less and less these days. I’m busy and really, what else is there to say?
