Is anyone aware of a government website from anywhere in the world that shows a significant increase in national deaths for 2020 over previous years?

Perhaps this could be a communal effort.

A significant increase in national deaths for 2020? No, it would appear the world population still grows apace, at least from an Australian perspective.

From Australia (Australian Bureau of Statistics – a government website):

92,015 doctor certified deaths occurred before 25 August. (Jan 1 – 25 August 2020)
Deaths rose in the second half of winter but remain below average.
Respiratory disease deaths have been lower than historical minimums since June.

92,015 doctor certified deaths occurred between 1 January 2020 and 25 August 2020 and were registered by 31 October. This compares to a baseline average of 91,778 over the past 5 years.
Over the four weeks from 18 March to 14 April there were a total of 11,063 deaths, 930 more than the historic average for 2015-19.
Deaths remained below historical averages over the winter months.
Deaths were below the historical minimum range for 7 consecutive weeks from 3 June.

Also of note:

Almost all deaths due to COVID-19 have other conditions listed on the death certificate (87.2%). The table below shows that almost two-fifths of all certificates had both a causal sequence and pre-existing conditions listed on the certificate.

On average, deaths due to COVID-19 had 2.4 other diseases and conditions certified alongside the virus.

They are obviously reclassifying certain types of deaths as being covid related now. That’s about the only way you can have a lower yearly death rate in some types of diseases, but higher for covid, but have the yearly total similar. Fraud, pure and simple.

The Scottish government issues some data which may be of interest. It shows death rates from all causes over the last 5 yrs.
OK, Scotland is only a small country, population about 5 Mio and over the past 5 years has on average 41,000 deaths per year.
This year, 2020 the death toll has been 47,000. of which 6,000 deaths are Covid related.
Interestingly enough, Deaths from Respiratory illness are down about 1,000 from the 5-yearly average. This would suggest that deaths from respiratory ailments this year have been lumped in with Covid deaths.
The bottom line is that Scotland has suffered an increase in the average number of deaths per year of about 13%.
Has Covid had an effect, sure it has, but most undertakers are hardly popping the champagne corks.
If covid wants to wipe out humanity, it had better get those numbers up quite a bit !
