Today, for the UMPTEENTH time, I heard the story of a mother dying in a nursing home and NOBODY had been allowed to visit her for nearly a year. A YEAR folks, Jeebus H. Krist…. are you not shocked at the acceptance of this BS with the Covid? I’m f’n shocked our of my gourd. My mother has been gone for decades but IF she were in the nursing home and I could not get in to see her, I would tell them to pack up her duds as I am picking her up and moving her home. WTF is wrong with the American public that they are so willing to sit back and watch this genocide go unabated?
If a care home tells you you can’t extract your loved one, tell them you are going to sue the shit out of them pronto quick. That will get their attention at least. Would ya’ll have EVER believed this could happen here in the good ‘ole USofA?

I feel the same way and my wife and I have discussed what we would have done with my mom had she not passed (thankfully) at the end of 2018 (Alzheimers, so don’t judge, and more of the thankfully had to do with this bullshit).
In New York death by a pillow to the face = Covid 19. The nursing home collects extra $ and NY’s medicare / medicaid expenses drop. It’s a convenient win/win for the government. Not so good for the peasants.
