In a interview with Doug Billing, Doug was telling Flynn he lost a bet with a friend over who would win the Election. He told his friend Trump would win and he didn’t, so he owed his friend a bottle of wine and going was open it soon.
Flynn told him to hold off on opening that bottle.

That’s what Byrne wrote, but I think Byrne was giving Trump a pass for being a two-faced asshole. Trump used the same kind of tactic in dealing with his fans. He would say what they wanted to hear about what he would do, then he would go right ahead and do the opposite or just do nothing.
Trump acted as though he was willing to do what Byrne, Powell and Flynn recommended, but insisted that “it had to be Rudy” to carry out the plan. That should have clued Byrne in on what Trump was going to do.
Trump’s biggest problem has always been who he trusted. Rudy was his mayor and I’m sure he did a lot for The Donald back in the day, but he is starting to show signs of dementia or maybe as Byrne pointed out, the alcohol is taking its toll on his brain cells. Rudy said he had a plan and Trump trusted him.
Trump should have kept Flynn on as NSA Director, regardless of the trumped up charges against him. Remember, it was Pence who got him fired for lying to him about his phone call.
How much you want to bet that now people will say “Flynn is trying to draw the deep state out to expose themselves by saying this!”. I’ve been watching people ignore REALITY for 3 years in favor of some Trump “Savior” fantasy. They won’t give it up easily. It’s a cult after all.
