Public School Teachers Looking Forward To Summer Break After Long Year Of Watching Netflix

Via The Babylon Bee

U.S.—According to teachers’ union representatives, stressed-out teachers across the country are looking forward to a relaxing summer break after a grueling year of staying at home and watching Netflix.

“This year has really taken a toll,” said 3rd-grade teacher Patricia Peasley between mouthfuls of popcorn and episodes of Bridgerton. “I’m almost out of Netflix shows. Sometimes my Chinese food gets delivered cold. Zoom calls with a bunch of 3rd-graders have given me PTSD. I need a break.”

When asked what they will do with their summer break, most teachers replied that it likely will involve more Netflix and wine. “After all,” said Peasley, “there’s COVID outside. We can’t go outside! We have to stay indoors and continue watching our streaming services for as long as possible!”

Thousands of teachers have indicated they will campaign to keep schools closed next year as well, or at least until they run out of things to watch on HULU.

Traditional marxist thinking: Must take a break from doing nothing. Last spring, at the end of the first Frankistan’s lockdown, while every one was broke and went back to work, my neighbors who are civil servants went on vacation.

and they came back to their jobs, still have their jobs, are due for salary increases and have no worry whatsoever about being Riffed.

If teachers only knew how they are participating in their own job losses. Zoom classes are going to continue but most of these teachers won’t be teaching the classes of the future; it will be interactive robots.

For smart children computer classes with AI instructors will be a good thing. With AI instructors used on a one to one basis some children will excel. Their higher level questions can be answered and lead them to higher education faster. With children of lower IQ they can be fed education at their slower pace without slowing down others.

What is happening here is really a good thing. Education was getting more and more expensive for the tax payer and at the same time less effective. Our present education system is obsolete with expensive buildings and school buses clogging up the streets not to mention the high fuel costs.

Another advantage of education with AI robots is that an education can be tailor fitted to each individual child.

This is one positive outcome resulting from this Covid-19 pandemic.

The public schools are nothing but a conduit for taxpayer $ to return to politicians.

I can count the number of truly excellent teachers I’ve had on one hand. So, I’ve always had rather low regard for most members of that profession.

But, they are quickly rising to the Top Three most loathsome professionals. Right now they only trail lawyers and accountants.

Nearly every one I had in private school was great. Maybe there’s a common denominator? I know that only about 20% of them had teaching certs. from the government. Started college at 16, finished at 20. They must have been doing something right.

Yeah, it must be stressful deciding what not to wear to work. My heart bleed special purple blood for these poor teachers.

If EVERY Trump supporter pulled their children out of these hell holes, or helped their children get their grandchildren out, the system would collapse in short order. THAT is the kind of commitment that needs to be shown….not jumping onboard with another unprincipled political party that Trump happens to start/run. Likely 10% of teachers still support freedom, the Constitution, etc. (and maybe I am being generous with that number). Why in the hell would you want them pretending to educate your child every day? Why would you want them to have unsupervised time with your children at all for any reason? They all stop watching the NFL, etc. – gone. They all stop going to gubmint skoolz – gone. They all stop watching mainstream media, reading mainstream publications, etc. – gone. 1/2 the nation at least. Vote with your dollars. They’ve stolen every other means of voting.

Meanwhile, keep an eye on the new mill levy your local school board will be setting later this year-it most likely will show the largest increase out of all the tax districts your property tax supports. Doing it for the children, right?

Bend over and enjoy it.
