Regardless of how you feel about the trauma and drama surrounding Jordan Peterson’s stance on gender pronouns and the subsequent notoriety it brought to his life, this short discussion of the divine nature of truth is some of his finest rhetoric, I think.
In the beginning was the Word.
Truth: Male-penis Female- Vagina Anything you say you think you are- Mental illness
ha ha ha…Jordanetics: A Journey Into the Mind of Humanity’s Greatest Thinker
See, I knew you’re a ‘Jordanethics’ bullshiff fanboi
And, you’re still the TBP ignorant village idiot.
He said it well at the end. “Either way you’re going to suffer consequences”. I prefer to tell the truth and suffer on this earth than tell lies and suffer in eternity.
Why are they pushing him so hard? After his complete mental and emotional drug induced breakdown at the peak of his popularity, he comes right back as if none of ever happened, giving life advice again.
I can’t figure this story out, but if it were anyone else he would have long ago been de-platformed/non-personed/cancelled but instead he has complete run of every single social media outlet.
It makes no sense.
I can’t help but remain skeptical of shills that appear to have previously sold out for 30 shekels. Yes, I want them to come to Christ, but I wonder if they had already blasphemed the Holy Ghost to attain world riches? Only GOD knows, so I’ll just watch and listen from a distance.
Perhaps its what he stands for and simply will not back down. He’s taken a hard fall and gotten back up, brushed himself off and is back in the fight. This kind of resolve, resistance, is deadly to communism.
Because he is so very popular he can’t be killed as this would draw to much attention and make him a martyr as well. The communists have to destroy his character and underlying beliefs otherwise they will grow to a destructive force against them. So they will allow him to be worn down, weakened by the constant appearances, pressure him from every angle until he cracks and fails for good.
The Intellectual Dark Web are mere gatekeepers for the Bolsheviks.
i.e. Satan can quote scripture too.
The joke is on you.
I recently noticed that some bible passages make more sense if you assume satan does use them.
Ken, or if there is one “reasonable” god, and one jealous, schizophrenic, psychopathic, narssissistic “god”.
It appears to me that God is trying to get his attention.
Maybe because truths don’t become untruths, even if the speaker had a mental and emotional drug induced breakdown once?
Hardscrabble, his “breakdown” was induced by health issues (he has a weird immune problem) and incompetent doctors. He lays it all out. I watched his vid on jootoob last year. Of ALL people, I don’t see you as a knee jerk concluder, you must not have gotten the whole story. Please give him another look. If I’m wrong, I’ll have to show up in July for my crow.
It was the concept of the value of Truth being worth the “cancellation.”
This was from a few years ago, before his breakdown.
I can only shake my head at the condescending comments here.
Remember, “if you look long enough into an abyss, the abyss also starts looking into you.”
And everyone who seriously followed Jordan for a while, could point to a few very dark moments of his from before, like 2018. When I first saw such, I also wondered if he was losing it – but he didn’t back then. So what you’d expect: he stays sharp as a tack til the day he dies from old-age?
And the crazy part is he is suffering from the same problem as all you guys criticizing him here: always demanding perfection. Yeah, that’s gonna improve your and everyone else’s life, fer sure.
I think Jordan Peterson has a lot to teach us, especially about how to suffer endlessly.
He is worth 7 million (lots of moola even in Canuk). He must be attracted to the limelight. When he gets his “do i really need this” moment he will stop being in the public eye.
A wealthy college professor has our interests in mind…yeah…SUUUUURE.
Peterson fanbois are almost as pathetic as trump fanbois…stop following selfish sociopaths and think for yourself, for a change.
A few years ago, I was told to listen to Jordan Peterson by my son, who was in college at the time. My husband and I listened to a few lectures, enough to realize why he appealed to so many young people, especially my son. I pulled the quote above and the one below from a pretty good article written by a PhD candidate whose “research aims to identify the social and political implications of this massive shift by interviewing members of the generation that has come of age in it.”
In other words, an intellectual wannabe has summarized a few things about Peterson to explain why there is a shift in perspective of many young people facing a rather lonely and isolated future.

And, I agree that he can be quite depressing at times with all the discussion of human suffering and personal suffering. But, that’s what theodicy requires.
You have so much to learn.
“Life is suffering” is the central realization of the Existentialists, which JBP points out. If you cannot grasp how that is meant -in a shattered-dreams, but humbling, and finally stoic way-, then get back to listening to Peterson when you understand it one day.
And there is an even deeper truth underneath that, that Augusto Del Noce figured out around 1970 (italics and square brackets mine):
“That existentialism was a philosophy of crisis, unaware of its deep social and political roots, and so it belonged to the historical period between 1930 and 1940. That, furthermore, one must distinguish between a leftist form and a religious form of existentialism. The first could play a progressive role against spiritualistic and idealistic rhetoric and in preparing a renewed and improved Enlightenment [which Del Noce already classified as a dystopia earlier in other essays, so that’s sarcasm], or a form of Marxism more adequate to a higher civilization (and we know that these themes were the subject of countless philosophical exercises). The second [religious existentialism] was said to be a new, nicely packaged version of traditional [religious] thought, prompted by the confused circumstances of the crisis, or at best (think of Kierkegaard) an expression of the agony of Christianity.”
(from book ‘The Crisis of Modernity’ by Augusto Del Noce, essay “The Question of Violence”.)
He was a phony years ago, I’m going to assume that hasn’t changed and ignore whatever this is.
“stance on gender pronouns”
Whoopdefuckingdoo.
