I spoke with her on the phone from more than a hundred miles away and offered to come stand outside her window and visit that way, since our lunch Wednesday was cancelled due to the need to test the residents every few days for two weeks or until there are no new positive tests.
I told her, quite frankly, that I believe the government will impose another lockdown for “some” reason and so if I don’t see her again here, I will see her there.
She agreed, said she loves me and to tell my boys she loves them too.
My mother and I managed to build a bridge and get over it. She signed the lawsuit against me too, but I wasn’t there so I don’t know why. Vengeance ain’t my department.

It makes me think of Ordo who made his daily trips to the nursing home to visit his Mom through the window. Have not seen any posts from him in a while and pray he is doing well.
I had to put my father in a nursing home for the last 4 months of his life. Fortunately, he died in Sept 2019, before this bullshit started. But if he’d lived and they told me I couldn’t visit him and he’d be in isolation, I’d have pulled him out of the facility and brought him back home to take care of him myself, as difficult as that would’ve been for me to handle.
NO ONE is ordering me that I can’t physically be with my loved ones, especially my old man.
As did millions,I saw it right from the get go,was telling friends/family what would go down and they laughed,now,they ask where I got a copy of the play book.The playbook has been out for decades for any actually watching.

It is so fucking obvious that Ronnie Milsap could see it.
So many don’t though. I’m still connected to my old county in CO. It was supposed to be a conservative county, however there are many people begging for schools to mask up kids and teachers. The attitude towards the unvaxxed is sickening. These people DON’T see it and they never will.
It’s getting more and more difficult to do my job. My job is to inspire youth. I can’t really do that well anymore. They need to know truth and right now that’s not very inspiring.
What’s that quote by John Adams…the gist is that his generation needed to study politics and war so that his kids can study math, science, navigation, and commerce, so that his grandkids can study art and music…(someone can look it up; I’m too lazy). Well, this is where we are now….we need to be studying war (and the Bible IMO) and put the rest aside for now.
But try to convince parents that…it ain’t going to happen.

Then tell them you may need to avoid them for a while in order to preserve your own health. Say, “After all, they are claiming the variants are due to the unvaxxed, but if that’s true, why were there no variants BEFORE there was a vax?
