Because Covid’s infection fatality rate varies wildly by age. 28% for those =>85, 4/1,000ths of 1% for those under age 35. Even lower for those under 18. The risk/reward calculation is different for an 86 year old than for a 17 year old.

It should have been a ‘give away’ for this joker to use the term Warp Speed. Warp Speed originated from the Fictional Star Trek series. Warp Speed was a fictional term from a science fiction series.
