Incrementally we’ll see the National Guard take over positions with labor shortages. We’ve seen it in Massachusetts where the National Guard is driving buses , in Philly as well as in Maryland .
With New York and other states losing as much as 30% of their medical staff you can look for the National Guard to fill in there as well soon enough.
There is a labor shortage in Cali at the docks…will the National Guard help out there ?

National Guard will not be able to handle that as most medical MOS fields are in the army reserves. NG is primarily combat arms and field support. Not to mention most of the guard and reservists are the ones working those jobs in their civilian lives.

I actually had this conversation with a 20-year-old girl who’d just given birth last month; apparently, her boss — who was a good friend of mine, I’ve known him over a decade — had one girl at his shop come down sick (naturally it had to be CONVID) and he panicked and told all his employees they had to be vaccinated or lose their jobs. So, when this girl was 8 months pregnant, she took the jabs.
I can only hope that she and her child don’t end up like this story. It’s really taking a lot of willpower to not just call up Mike right now and paint his ass blue. I can’t believe he did that. I know one thing for sure, he’s no friend of mine anymore, and the next time I see him — and God help him if this girl or her daughter dies — the air around us is gonna get hot.
I was doing some work in Longmont, CO this past summer when I came across a very pregnant woman. I stopped to think about the last time I had actually seen a pregnant woman. Anywhere. It has been a looong time.
