Those algoreisms sound great! I might like to put grow them in my lawn. Meanwhile I’ll just eat meat from grass-fed cows. Don’t need no grains.

No, this is 100% Israeli, complete with jooish CEO. They want to get in on the high protein pea market for the coming meatless diet, aka Soylent Green (plant based food). I don’t trust it.

How many joo farmers do you know? I rest my case.

You see a lot of them in USDA videos, not so much farming.

Ken- The joos who are not jooish will poison us in any way through the food chain if we let them. I’m sticking with real eggs, and meat from real animals and I can guarantee you these white murderers will be eating the best real food on the market also..

They have a saying, “We sell to the poor and eat with the rich”.

I hear the words non-GMO protein, but can’t help but wonder just what the fuck they are actually up to. And you pick varieties of plants for cultivation based on your microclimate, soil conditions and a variety of other factors. You don’t create ONE SEED that will feed humanity. And so long as there are any controls on using part of this year’s crop for next year’s planting, the product is unsustainable.

That being said, evaluating plants for the purpose of reducing fertilizer needs or addressing other costs in cultivation (drought resistance, etc.) is a great thing. Nature has been doing just that forever.

My thoughts exactly around the non gmo part. What’s the catch? Many people will hear non gmo and think it’s perfectly safe. Be suspicious.

The original deal with GMOs was that they were more or less accelerated breeding. Now they are using novel proteins and this should not even be legal given humanities level of ignorance on the relative subjects. There is good evidence these proteins are causing health issues. Not great, because you are never getting the funding.

The rest of it is just management related. If you have more roundup, the plant isn’t less healthy or nutritious, but you will be when you consume the glyphosate. At least most of the adverse affects of glyphosate are suspected to be due to its disruption of the gut-biome.

The unproven but reasonable hypothesis is : The chemicals hurt the gut biome which in turn causes a loss of integrity of the gut wall and these novel proteins can slip in and mess things up. The proteins should be chopped up in the stomach, but proteins can and do slip passed, especially if protected inside a plant cell wall. The wide variation in all of these variables explains why you don’t see clear patterns without complete data (which is unrealistic). A variation on that is that the proteins might directly interact with proteins on the gut or adversely on the gut-biome itself.

All I know for sure is it gives me skin rashes and digestion problems. I am excited to be trying to grow all of our own food without having to sacrifice much.

In the vid’s :56 to 1:18 mark:

… [This artistic science] proceeds to the biochemistry lab where we intensively analyze these seeds and gently wonder at nature’s creations. Then, the breeders design the smarter seeds using Equinom’s sophisticated bioinformatics, exclusive algorithm, and fast-track method…

What could go wrong?

Sounds like it’s primarily analytics and controlled pollination. Analyzing the genetics from seeds, size, weight, texture, etc, giving them batch numbers and selectively breeding them or taking them over to the tissue culturing lab. Yes, it’s dressed up with a lot of marketing but ultimately it sounds like computer-assisted gene selection.

I’m a redneck in the ass end of nowhere and even I intend to have a small tissue culturing lab setup when I can afford to have a steel frame building installed. It’s great for propagating in a disease free, sterile environment. I do believe some people are combining genetics of different plants without having to spend 4-6+ years for cross pollination, etc. It’s a real game changer for ornamentals.

That’s not even new. I am pretty sure I was helping Pioneer do that in 1998.

Get a shipping container.
If you live near california just rent a wrecker and go get one, they are leaving them on the streets near the ports. Might find one full of some plastic crap that was supposed to go to Dollar General.
