I can’t stay for long today because my wife informs me Christmas Eve is for families, and for some reason she doesn’t consider the Friday Fail crew family. I could ignore her. After all, her threat to make me sleep on my own rings hollow to a 66 year old who relishes the thought of having the entire bed to himself. It’s the nagging that I can’t abide. So I’ll stay till noon at the latest. As I type this I realize that maybe no one on the planet gives a shit whether I stay or go, so I’ll just shut up about that. Smashwords has their annual Christmas sale on now. You can download almost all of my books for free till the end of the year. Any idea what I might have done wrong? It’s quite possible I may have registered before, and forgotten (I’m even older than you. The bad news is: it gets worse. You ain’t seen nothing yet).
Sorry, AnalogMan, I don’t know why the email confirmation never arrived. You’d think that would be automated. The obvious next steps are to check your junk folder in case it went there, and to make sure you typed in your email address correctly.
