Yep. Waiting for the preacher to start the funeral service for my father in law as I type this. Everyone all masked up except for me, my wife, my MIL and 2 brother in laws.
…when even the way you attend a funeral becomes a revolutionary act.

Just got back home from NJ. My wife will be fine but, WOW, what a tough emotional time it was. This is the first funeral I’ve attended that I had a personal connection with the decedent. The Great thing about the funeral is he was given a full Fireman’s funeral. It was quite special. He wasn’t even a fireman…but was strongly connected that particular fire station for over 40 years as their PR person. Even the Mayor came by to offer condolences to my MIL.
This is the Mayor…she had a mask on and the funeral director called her Sir. Hahaha
Poor woman. Looks like someone got after her with an ice pick. At least she does not have the US/Israel lapel pin.
