Technocratic elites have decided in the so-called “Great Reset” in a post-COVID world that peasants should eat plant-based meat instead of the real thing as a way for “sustainable nutrition.”
Fake meat startups such as Impossible Foods and Beyond Meat are some leaders in the space. Though recent developments suggest shifting people onto a fake meat diet is faltering.
For example, Impossible Foods, a producer of fake meat, told Bloomberg on Monday that it has terminated employees in an internal reorganization effort.
“Earlier this month we made some organizational changes on several teams to ensure the functions supporting our business are best aligned with our strategy,” said a company spokesperson.
“This included downsizing some teams, and as a result a small number of employees were impacted,” the spokesperson continued.
The spokesperson said that about 15 employees were affected by Impossible’s 800 employees worldwide.
An internal shakeup could be due to the slow adoption of fake meat.
Another plant-based meat company, Beyond Meat, reported lower than expected third-quarter sales and slashed revenue guidance for the fourth quarter.
Short-sellers, such as Jim Chanos of Kynikos Associates, one of the world’s best-known short sellers, have piled into the company with bearish bets. Earlier this month, the stock was one of the most shorted on US exchanges. Shares currently trade at the $57 handle, nearing the IPO level of $45.
The problem with Beyond Meat is that growth in fake meat sales collapsed in 2021.
Is the fake meat trend just a fad? If so, this would be problematic for the elites, such as Bill Gates, who has made significant investments into this space. Thanks, but no thanks, our readers will stick with good ole’ beef and other real meat instead of the junk Gates pushes.

For me all of these “great innovations” are about conditioning us to their fiat morality. 2+2=5. Turn vegetables and (other propriety GMO’s and “technology”) into “meat” then deny us meat. Keep muddling. Pushing the boundaries. In clown world it’s all fake and gay and these tranny burgers are just one more thing on the menu before its us on there too.
In a time of plenty, the Great Reset creates shortages. That’s the result of arbitrary industry and government policies. We find out there’s a food shortage. Yeah, there’s a problem getting food to the market because of the contrived supply chain collapse, but we’re told that food is also getting unavailable. Well, with Bill Gates and his Chinese pals buying up all the available farm land, I guess I can see why. All according to plan of course. Meat? Only for government officials and other members of the elite. Peasants should eat bugs and weeds.

These guys play the long game so this short term hiccup won’t deter them. If anything they’ll take the spot light off of it and then rebrand, re-introduce it a bit later as the new and improved meat alternative. Like the cat… it’ll be back…
I agree Brian. Not only do they play the long game, the business model they all seem to use is Lie, Cheat & Steal. We are seeing the same thing play out in the NWO. I don’t think this game is over by a long shot.
What THEY need is a real crisis … like a world war. It’s a sure-fire catalyst for everything.

Brian, yep, long game. I remember 20 years ago some “friends” served up some veggie burgers. They weren’t too good, but I’d taught my seven kids to do as the Romans do. It caused a literal riot of alien farts that we’ll never forget no matter how long the game goes. Vegetables yes, meat yes, but no fake frankenfood ever.
My guess is they were propping up sales figures and hoping at some point things would catch on.

Most soybeans grown in the US are GMO. Most fake meat is made from soybeans. It’s like the batteries used in ‘green energy’ production, most are not recyclable and very toxic to the environment.
Then there are the conditioners, thickeners, gums and cellulose added to the fake meat to replicate the texture of meat. Most healthy and organic foods contain thickeners and emulsifiers, all chemicals and most not very good for you.
If you want to make bean burgers that can be quite tasty, have at it but don’t eat the fake meat crap sold in supermarkets. In terms of chemicals and adulterants it’s just as bad as a bag of supermarket cookies. You’re better off eating the cookies.

“Channel stuffing” or overstating production and initially overfilling the supply chain to mask true sales numbers is an old business trick. Real sales numbers will eventually catch up to this ruse.
Think about it. Why else would TPTB brainwash children as they do? They know children are highly impressionable, lack experience of the world and of things, and will be fairly agreeable to trying something new. Kids need wise adults and a wide assortment of things to learn from. If they’re only offered garbage from evil people to begin with what else will they have to compare it to?
Maybe cause it tastes like it passed through a beef first? Or maybe some people have read the packaging and all the chemicals needed to create it and saw the light?
It’s always wise to read the ingredient labels. Just look at some of the junk that’s in processed foods. A lot of folks don’t even know about basic chemistry or even how to pronounce half the stuff the industry puts into contemporary foods.
Polysorbates , two or three forms of sodium or sulfites as preservatives in our food and wine. Artificial food coloring. High fructose corn syrup as a substitute for sugar.
Offer a kid a glass of Tang or real orange juice and see which one is preferred …

Our ancestors didn’t scratch and claw their way to the top of the food chain so we could be leaf-eating herbivores.
I think that vegans think that if people stopped eating animals, then the animals would just live free in the forest. There are about 75 million hogs in the US. What would the vegans have us do? Open up the pens and shoe them onto the highway so they could go live in the woods? How would the 75 million hogs fare in the battle against the 95 million bovines? Would the chickens just wander around? Would they get along with the turkeys?
Getting rid of meat means that those animals would simply not exist. Even if you love the heck out of animals is it better for them to never be born? That’s not obvious to me. A case can be made that it’s better for a piglet to be born, suckle at its mother’s teat, roughhouse with its siblings and then once it’s full grown, meet its demise quickly and painlessly than to never have been born in the first place.
I know the Lord Jesus ate meat and fish. That settles the matter for me.
If you turn 75 million hogs loose, there soon will not be anything for the vegans to eat as the hogs will have rooted it all up.
Not to mention that the baby pigs would have tusks. Razor sharp, ready to rip up a belly so the intestines of common folk just fall out the gaping wound, then they(the pigs) would eat them(the common folk that were just walking along, minding their own business).
This is why the movie Old Yellar should be shown to all children starting at the age of two. In fact it should be a holiday movie shown every year, maybe at Halloween right before the youngins go out trick or treating.

No idea the market for fake meat or fake anything. Margarine is inedible, nasty stuff. Most commercially available vegetable oils aren’t real good for you, and the vegans will eat heart clogging cholesterol laden vegetable oils over butter. Chickens lay eggs and those eggs are often not fertile, meaning no baby chickens. So, what to do with infertile eggs? Vegans won’t eat them because they come from an animal. So, let eggs that chickens produce daily go to waste?
MyG- Vegans are nutty. Did you know that margarine has a molecular structure almost identical to plastic. Some of those no cholesterol squeeze bottle margarine goops ACTUALLY turn to plastic if heated at high heat in a frying pan, you can’t fry it as it is basically liquid plastic. Now, they KNOW the crap they are selling to us as food IS NOT EDIBLE but if the public sees it on a TV commercial, they’re gonna buy it..
I’ve been an ovo-lacto (I eat eggs and dairy) vegetarian for 45 years, not vegan. You are correct. Eating lab grown slop extruded onto a conveyor is of zero interest to me and most vegetarians I know. We eat what we do to stay healthier. That concoction is the last thing I would ingest.
It was a fad for the same reason everything that is a fad becomes one: it was pushed in the media. Non-vegetarians tried a couple and went back to eating what they like. Little did these startups guess that Beyond Meat was the event horizon of a financial black hole.
I don’t get into proselytizing about it. I eat what I do to stay healthy and out of respect for life. I leave everyone else alone to decide for themselves what their priorities are. I eat organic, free-range foods as much as is available. It costs a lot more, but I prefer paying now rather than paying a gastroenterologist or oncologist later.
I’m 72, have not had an inoculation in 13 years, have all my teeth, no hearing aid and no joints replaced or even hurting, on zero medications and kept myself well during Delta using colloidal silver nasal spray. I am confident my diet has played a big part in keeping me healthy.

Actually, Bill from the Gates is also a big proponent of people having to eat insects — saying that we’ll come to like it (reminds me of the great reset motto of ‘you’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy’ fustercluck that’s being pushed on US).
Folks like Loma Linda foods (7th day Adventists) and hundreds of other companies have been catering to vegetarians for 40 years or more. Their market ebbs and flows for sure, but they have never had the delusion that what they are selling is identical to meat. 7th day Adventists are vegetarians and simply want a vegetarian source of protein that meets their needs. While folks like Impossible and Beyond will fold, all the rest will simply carry on as they did before the virtue signaling trend began.

Hmm I just stirred my homemade chili that has been simmering in the slow cooker for a few hours now. Beef from a cow raised not too far from here. I will never make a chili with anything but beef, well okay venison is also a good choice.

Why do we have these fake meats anyway? Vegans are supposed to happy with their tofu, celery sticks and shredded carrots. They gave up meat and presumably, anything that looks or tastes like it. Something having to do with being morally superior or enlightened.
Regular humans, who are omnivores, require some meat in their diets and no amount of beans and rice, soy extracts or dietary supplements can match meat’s nutritional content or density.
But I think I see where this is headed. In order to separate and distinguish themselves from the great unwashed deplorables, the world’s elite need to create a superior diet for themselves. They will be the only ones to whom meat will be available while the deplorables can munch on bugs and weeds. But take heart! It’s all for a Greater Good! This will save the planet!

The cheaper plant based fake meat will not have the same amino acids as real meat so if you feed it to your kids, they will grow up stunted and look like they came from Bangladesh. Labor and Trucking are minor problems in my opinion compared to the 250% increase in fertilizer costs this year; ranchers can’t afford to fertilize pastures, cows have to be culled, future production and consumers will get screwed. No need for labor or trucking when there is no production. FJB cut off the gas lines last year and started a lot of problems; he needs to undo his screw-ups and start building fertilizer plants ASAP because people world wide must eat. Hold your nose and vote Nov2022 (for the most Conservative Candidate of course).
Well lets see… no trucking means… no fertilizer hauled into your farm supply shops equals no farm production or reduced product…
No truckers means you have no fuel to run your tractors because I’m pretty certain a fuel truck visits your farm if you run tractors.
No trucking means you might get your products to a processor be it grains, beef, etc but then how will they get that processed product to the distribution centers??? Meaning it will all backlog in a very short time frame when truckers don’t move it.
No truckers moving product to consumer outlets from distribution centers means a whole lotta angry people with pitch forks marching onto the guvna’s doorstep. Plus if your product can’t get to the consumers means you won’t be getting paid and what will you buy fertilizer with next year???
Sorry but truckers, cargo movers are THE life blood of any civilization. take them out and the country/civilization collapses. You cannot do anything without truckers.

I was talking about the shortage of fertilizer, its’ 250% yoy price increase, and what that will do to the beef ( pork & chicken) production in the next decade; you took my comments beyond that issue to trucking in general; of course your every point is 100% valid and I agree. I repeat that if Ranchers (and Farmers) can’t afford fertilizer for pastures (and vegetables), cattle herds will get culled, meat will be cheap for some months, then get expensive for decades; consumers, labor and trucking for the cattle/meat industry will suffer. There probably won’t even be raw materials to make fake meat.
Chemical fertilizers kill people, just sayi’n. Just like vaccines.
A few years ago my former wife cooked a meatless meal consisting of faux meat for her vegetarian son-in-law. OMG, that stench from that garbage in the kitchen was unbearable and had to leave the room. It was beyond disgusting but absolutely horrifying. I’ll never forget that smell as long as I live nor do I ever want to experience it again.
What I found astounding after taking a bite years ago after they first came out, just out of curiosity, is they could not have considered putting some A1 or some other flavoring in it to give it some taste. Sawdust, along with ground up soybeans, aka Tofu, is tasteless.
Real meat protein is needed for healthy development and good physical condition throughout life.
