Ukraine War Is Leading To Massive US Military Buildup In Europe

Authored by Dave DeCamp via AntiWar.com,

The fighting in Ukraine may lead to a rethinking of the US’s military posture in Europe that could lead to a buildup of US forces in the region not seen since the end of the Cold War.

According to Stars and Stripes, the US currently has 100,000 troops operating in Europe, the highest number since 2005. Troop numbers spiked recently as President Biden ordered more deployments amid heightened tensions and since Russia invaded Ukraine. In January, there were 80,000 US troops on the continent.

Germany still hosts the most US troops in Europe, but US military leaders are looking to send more forces further east. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin is due to meet with other NATO military leaders in Brussels on Wednesday to discuss reinforcing the military alliance’s so-called “eastern flank.”

Ahead of the meeting, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said allies should be prepared for a “major increase” in military spending. “On land, this could include substantially more forces on the eastern part of the alliance,” he said.

Stoltenberg said the alliance will also “consider major increases to our air and naval deployments, strengthening our integrated air and missile defense, reinforcing our cyber defenses, and holding more and larger exercises.” Later this month, President Biden will attend an “extraordinary summit” with NATO leaders in Brussels, which is scheduled for March 24.

In recent months, the US has sent more troops to countries bordering Russia and Ukraine, including Poland, Romania, and the Baltic states of Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania. According to numbers from US European Command, Poland currently has 10,000 US troops, Romania has 2,400, and 2,500 are spread out across the Baltics.

The US and NATO are reinforcing these countries in the name of deterring Russia. But NATO’s eastward expansion since the end of the Cold War and its presence near Russia’s borders has significantly escalated tensions in the region and is one of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s main justifications for attacking Ukraine.

Too late. Us plebs have no say. All we can do is just keep prepping till the day comes where we can’t anymore. When that day comes, humanity will be in for a rude awakening.

Dementia Joe is nothing more than a puppet, a figurehead, a front man for the “Elite.”
Joe doesn’t decide a thing, his puppet masters do.
Where are all the Republicans, the so called “conservatives” who SHOULD be screaming at the top of their lungs about the imminence of World War 3, and a nuclear conflagration that will destroy this country?

Republicans and Democrats are both willing participants in the Hegelian Dialectic, Republicans AND Democrats are both members of the same globalist groups like the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderberg Group, the Trilateral Commission, the Club of Rome, Davos, the World Economic Forum, etc…

Until we realize that our elected officials are nothing more than actors playing their roles as liberal or conservative, the agenda, no matter which party gets into office, will continue.

Also, this promulgated war is meant to usher in the Great Reset.

Speaking of the armies…there is only one in the world (among the “advanced” nations) that has not coerced a single one of the poisonous mrna injections into them, or even into the entire population!

And that country is, of course…China.

I don’t think people realize how significant this fact is – give it a think.

There’ll be no “thank you for your service” coming from my lips. If we didn’t have a standing army, we wouldn’t be instigating WWIII – which we are. Most of the biggest assholes in politics came from the military: John McCain, Tom Cotton (a warmonger), Adam Kinzinger. The only sane person on military and foreign affairs matters is Tulsi Gabbard and she’s persona non grata in both parties.

“NATO is a defensive alliance.” Sure it is. What was it doing in Afghanistan then? Why did it break up Serbia? Who turned Libya from a safe, prosperous country into a jihadi hellscape? NATO

Putin is right that NATO is just an extension of US policy and power, trying to dominate the world.

I’ve been told since Putin became president of Russia that his goal is to re-establish the soviet union.

Now I wonder if that hasn’t been the goal of the American Military Industrial Complex for the last decade or more.

Good. That shit makes us all uncomfortable. We didn’t serve you, we served the Banking Cabal. We just got through it and hope to find meaning in our lives or maybe just got college money or whatever. The VA has compensated me as fair as it can, though their medical system is getting crazier by the day from the mandatory vaxxx to the full speed diversity purge of white men.

STANDING ARMIES ARE BULLSHIT.

Svarga? Earlier today (at least an hour or so ago) I sat here writing a response to you about something which went off on a tangent, which is what my responses do. Since it was too late to edit the comment to include the image I include below because a picture truly is worth a thousand words (pond dredging coming soon-two old boxsprings with all the wood burned away will dredge it nicely, we hope) and I am to be forgiven for poisoning all the peepers last fall, but I truly am happy to hear the birdsong instead.

I do not remember where I first wrote it, but here is the copied comment I could no longer “save.”

This is a tedious illustration/graphic that tells a fascinating story, if you can read it.

Since my husband brought his little bitty device to me and tried to force me to take what was presented all in with my limited ability to read without prism lenses (long story don’t go) I insisted he just forward it to me upstairs to my computer in the lady loft outside where a big flat screen sits beside my Edwardian desk looking out toward my beautiful pond which can also be viewed from our bedroom or the barn and woods or the hay field or the creek. (If you can’t read the double entendre perhaps you need prism lenses too.)

I’m up here writing this now, birds chirping softly outside the window, last night’s fog still hanging about the trees downhill toward the creek and treehouse.

That was the barnyard… see the mist in the trees?

Pond and beyond.

Do you know what I find really pretty awesome about the favorite television shows of the past 20-something years? Except in rerun form, I watched almost none of them. And most of the reruns I’ve watched have been since moving here, where Andy Griffith has its own channel I think.

So, having brought my tangent here, I will just say that I am just glad both my boys are post-draft age, although it wouldn’t surprise me to see the Congress Critters do something along the lines of what Zelensky has done: conscript every able-bodied man over the age of 18, even seizing them from buses and trains as they’ve tried to flee.

Congress swallowed it all. (That is also a double entendre)

Last year there was a bill pending in Congress that would require women to register for the draft.
Now Feminist Women, how do you like your equality with men?
And how dare we use such gender specific pronouns!
Maybe we should just institute a “Person’s Draft” that would require all BREATHING humans over the age of 15 to register for the draft?
Then we can all participate in the noble goals of the Military Industrial Complex/Big Business/Bankers/Elites efforts to make more money, garner more power and control, and kill off huge segments of the population.

Well it looks like our fine young men who didn’t succumb to the clot shot will now be put on the field to donate their life to the cause of world “Klaus Schwab” tyranny. Why young people sign up to be cannon fodder for the NWO is beyond my frail little brain’s imagination. Die for what? And the Rothschilds never send a letter of condolence to the parents of these soldiers. Is it because they really don’t care? Come Lord Jesus and put an end to the Devil’s reign of terror on this sin cursed earth.

Of course I’m not old enough to remember but this sure has the feel of 1914—the buildup to war, the nonchalance of the populace, flag waving, demonizing, tough talk from many who have never even stood up to a schoolyard bully, all the churches falling right in line as they wrap themselves in the flag and implore God to destroy the barbarians, the false hope that our technology and surgical strike teams can remove the absolute Hell from war (I call it war from the safe room), all the entangling alliances that exist just to help the elites justify the coming involvement, idiotic talk from politicians who’ve never even held a job much less fought a war. I could go on but the similarities are there and you get it. This time it may start “over there” but I’m afraid it will end “over here”.
