This Little Pig Built a House Out of Straw… And Oil

Via Blue State Conservative

Since the original republic came to an end just over a century and a half ago and a single national state began (The United States as opposed to These United States, the political unit (Republicans, Democrats, Progressives, Socialists, etc.) through the government, has undertaken, with no constitutional authority, to control the two largest utilities of the people in their formerly sovereign states–which are now no more than counties. Those utilities? Farming and Energy.

Yes, the seeds were planted that long ago.

To politicians, whatever passes at the moment as the “law of the land” is treated like oil to grease their careers, and a whip to those who produce the oil or corn or wheat—other features produced by congressional law under the legalistic sounding “departments”: labor, health, education, the weather (for god’s sake) … ad infinitum

That is “politicians” is plural as in a group and plural as between the so-called political parties. That is to say, both political parties are and have been a disease of the people since the anti-federalists (not intended as a party but as a riposte to the Hamiltonian nationalists). And the current parties, are still the same as George Wallace claimed in 1968: “Not a dime’s worth a difference.”

They pass laws that have meaning only temporarily, lasting until their “sheriff of Nottingham-type” appointed judges declare the law “unconstitutional”—a legalistic euphemism for the inconvenience—to favor the bureaucrats, the beasts of Washington D.C.

Contrary to “constitutional “scholars,” and therefore an unpleasantly educated pubic on the subject, no court, supreme or otherwise, has the authority to interpret the constitution. They only have the authority to hold court between parties, at odds; Marbury vs Madison be damned.

Hence, most of the government regulations and edicts are from the same sort of mindset as the British Parliament in 1776 had under the various Covenants of the King. Thereby drawing the included complaint in the same year.

He has erected a Multitude of new Offices and sent hither Swarms of Officers to harass our People and eat out their Substance. Complaint of the actions of the Government of Great Britain cited in the Declaration of Independence.

You will find quickly those who will say that without the government rules and regulations, farming could not survive. The truth is the other way around.

The Hebrews, in bonded servitude to the Pharaohs, produced grain to sustain the government. It was not the other way around.

But today’s farmers are paid in the blood of the taxpayers by the government to produce products to sustain a fat-ass incompetent government with bureaucratic indolence such as the Department of Agriculture.  This little beauty of bureaucracy was founded in 1862 (Just as These United States were being converted to The United States, hmm?). The DOA has shown the genius of government growth as it now has 29 sub-agencies.

With its bastard cousin The Federal Reserve (illegally conceived) the DOA gave us the dust bowl of the 1930s. The DOA has never produced an acre of land with any sustainable food supply. It has produced many bankrupt farmers and much unsown soil.

Though the Jimmy Carter Administration was hardly the first government attempt to pilot what has come to be known as the Energy industry, it has become as much a political football as farming.  Carter gave us the Department of Energy. The cost to the consumer was and is not peanuts (couldn’t resist).

And, sadly, as in farming, the energy bureaucrats have regulators and bureaucrats who don’t know the difference between a barrel of oil and a barrel of buckwheat batter.  It is as if Bonnie and Clyde were noted as insightful and thorough bank examiners. B &C didn’t help the banks. They helped themselves to the banks. And they sure as hell didn’t care how many lives were ruptured or lost.

Actually, these departments do little more than give lip service to whatever (energy or farming) utility they are supposed to regulate.  They are the proverbial folks who think food is grown in Kroger’s and Oil comes in a can.  And you can bet that almost none have ever looked at a core sample, read an oil lease, or stood in a wheat field. They are the three little pigs the majority of whom ran around building houses of straw and bricks only to lose them to the big bad wolf.

I believe I am one of the few who doesn’t worry about the babbling inanities of Joe Biden or the uncultured cackling of Kamala Harris. Nor do I hang on pin and needles about the sophomoric nattering of sixth-grade monitor Jen Psaki.  These are the caliber of minds that attach themselves to government. It is from this sort of genius that we get “Departments of…” of everything imaginable. You will never get anything more from these mediocre minds.

Miss, Mrs, Ms, She, Her, They, Them (I don’t know-pick ‘em) Psaki suggests that the high cost of gasoline is a Putin war-wonder as the “oil companies” (they operate as a single unit, you know) have over 9000 leases to drill on and magically produce oil (and subsequently gasoline).  Such is the fifth-grade mental magic.

Anyone who has even a casual knowledge of the oil industry (and I spent 40 years in it) knows the nonsense in such a statement.  Any fifth-grade-teacher-like of bureaucratic servants of a couple of generations ago would slowly put her face down in her hands and shake her head in disbelief.

I spoke recently with one of the co-owners, Billy Harrison, of one of the largest independent producers, Houston Energy, in the United States of offshore deep-water oil and gas. These are federal leases. The upshot of our conversation:

The government forces winning bidders on federal offshore leases to put up 20% of the bid price; then through their own federal courts, they hold up operations on said leases for some environmental skylarks in the federal court. Then the monies (being deflated through inflation) sits in the government treasury. That is to say: “We have your money, but you cannot drill.”

Besides, why should American Oil Producers produce oil when Russians, Iranians or Venezuelans can?

This is the taxpayer’s problem. They are always blinded by reason.

But this is only one sample of government mendacity and double-dealing. There are dozens if not hundreds of operators onshore and offshore who could testify to likeminded government red tape.

Jen, you better just take that football and go home. Nobody is going to try and kick it again!

Farming and Energy come from the same good earth; that same source that provides continued life. And the same kind of men farm the earth for plowed fields of wheat as do those who prospect with high risk for oil, gas or innumerable other organic or chemical buried pleasures and treasures—each attempting the betterment of man.

And any farmer who farms certainly knows the concept of budgeting. But investment by private sources outside is driven away by the thought associated with current government spending caused inflation and fuel prices driven higher by the mindless economic conceptions in Washington. And, of course, The Department of Agriculture.

Again, speaking with the CEO of Extraction Alternatives, R&D, LCC an Oklahoma Company, Patricia Klee, with some of the most advanced concepts in farming innovations (hence increasing profits with less cost), the Biden government to farmers is like swimming the English Channel with an anvil on your back. Not to mention worrying potential investors in farming innovation.

“Every right implies a responsibility; Every opportunity, an obligation, Every possession, a duty.” John D. Rockefeller

“Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee, and thou shalt eat the herb of the field.” Genesis 3:18

Farm subsidies trap the farmer into a one way relationship with the government. They pull the subsidy and the farmer goes bankrupt. They will even pay the farmer not to grow food. Trump signed an emergency order that Biden renewed that allow FEMA to control all food and energy. What could go wrong?

That emergency order has been around since way before Trump and Biden, check what Bill Cooper said about it.

They are trying to ruin every aspect of farming, and push their lab grown “foods” as the solution. Problem, reaction, solution, time and time again.

Check out Ice Age Farmer, look at some of those vids, it will give you a sense of the scope of this issue. They don’t want farmers growing food, they don’t want YOU growing food, they only want labs that they control growing food, so they can cram every person left alive into some toxic hellhole and monitor their every last movement and thought.

Watch Soylent Green, that’s probably pretty close to the “future” they want you to live in.

By a short genius, from awhile back…

A country from Blood and Soil…..

OK. A valid and accurate assessment of the current and possibly near term future state of affairs. Now, what is the solution?
The election was stolen in 2020 and not one person has paid a penalty for the fraud. Not one person has paid a penalty for not making those responsible pay for their misdeeds. People go about their daily lives, complaining, worrying, working harder than yesterday all to no progress. Until there is a penalty for cheating/defrauding the American Citizen the theft will continue unabated.

No matter how hard you try, a Jenga tower always falls at some point.
I’ve never seen anyone achieve the perfect stack of one wooden block on top of another until there is no longer any other option.
Civilizations and societies are like that, pulling one block from the base to stack on another, all with the goal of getting the tower a little taller each time.
Always ends up a mess on the floor
An accurate assessment is that we are currently a shaky Jenga tower.
The game is not played by taking pieces off the top and putting them back in the base to stabilize it.
Guess where that leaves us?
