Here is what we do. We send all these nut jobs to the west coast and then build a really, really big fence along the Cascades and Sierras to keep them contained. And if you don’t think that these same horrible people are going to get hired by private schools once they are run out of government schools that stand up to them, you are also delusional. Even far too many private schools hire the same government-trained, government-certified degenerates as the government schools do. Far too many private schools are modeling their teaching methods, textbooks, and overall structures to be in line with the government schools “for easy transitions” or other BS. Parents need to pay real attention if going the private route, but homeschooling is the ideal way to go.
The ideal alternative to each set of parents homeschooling is for 10 to 20 sets of parents to organize and incorporate their own private school. Almost everyone has a college degree of some kind now, so can easily qualify to get a teaching certificate with a few night school or on-line classes. People who have been through a 4 year trade apprentice program and possess a journeyman license should be able to get certification to teach practical courses. With 40 parents, the teaching burden can be shared. If someone is sick or otherwise unable to teach on their assigned days, roll in a ready replacement.
In the 19th Century, in rural districts, one room schools were very, very for common. Students commonly sat in the same room for 8 years, or even 12 years. I have seen some of the comprehensive tests that students in the 19th century had to pass in order to get a 12th grade diploma. I suspect that most college graduates could not get a passing grade on those tests.
I graduated from high school almost 60 years ago and graduated from college almost 50 years ago. Even then, much of what I was tought was nonsenses, except in STEM courses. Most of my real education was obtains by private study after college. Much of what I got in high school and college was schooling or indoctrination.
