Ukraine conflict, energy crisis and ‘colonial’ West: Putin’s latest press conference

Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke to the media on Friday following the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Earlier, he met with the leaders of China, India, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Mongolia.

In his first press conference since July, the president was asked about the conflict with the West, the ongoing military operation in Ukraine, and the energy crisis in the European Union, among other things.

Here are some of the highlights from Putin’s press conference.

“Putin stated, adding that while introducing green energy is important for tackling climate change…” IF Putin actually said this, then he’s just as fucking stupid as the politicians in the west. CO2 is PLANT FOOD. ANY idiot that thinks we need to be “carbon neutral” is intellectually challenged… Chip

No, you’re too stupid to not recognize Putin’s ‘wink, wink’ stance.

As the clearest indicator I’ve seen, read Putin’s Valdai speech from October 2021 at http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/66975 (official translation), identify the Easter Egg in it, get the broad hint, and have a good belly laugh at it.

And I’m not alone in that understanding:
Alastair rates Russia/Putin as “appropriating to itself the Climate Emergency, Russia snatches the former western global sphere away from the West, as means to undermine its perception of itself – enjoying some imaginary global approbation.”

I did say “IF” and you calling me stupid is rude and uncalled for. You missed the whole point of my comment as well. But thanks for playing… Chip

Obviously, the same IF applies to you being stupid.

And the carbon neutral bs was added by you, not even the supposed Putin citation had that included. So I ignored it.

Any country that plans on fueling its economy with wind and solar is cutting off its own balls. Of course Putin would promote unfriendly countries hobbling themselves that way. Paying lip service to renewables serves his purposes, even placating greenies in Moscow and St Petersburg a little bit. Dangling some renewable energy fever dream in front of the West helps keep them from developing nuclear and dependable sources of fossil fuels and keeps the planet dependent upon Russian fossil fuels. Europe’s economy also tanks due to high energy costs. Maintaining the fantasy of depending on renewables is a win-win-win for Russia.

The lesson here is simple,do not piss off a bear!

I have mentioned many time how in the last few decades not only could this be avoided but all involved would have built trust/friendship/trade ect.

Gosh, with all this distracting war, endless transgender propaganda, and the start of college football season I almost didn’t notice that these manufactured crises were being used to enable western governments to assume full control over the generation, distribution, and use of energy which once achieved will allow said same governments to dictate the content and direction of all economic activities that flow from the use of energy, which in a nutshell means that these governments control everything and the west gets communism by stealth. Funny that.

I am going to temporarily (this post only) degrade myself and pull a PCR …. meaning, I have never served in battle, I have zero access to Russian defense authorities, but nevertheless I’m going to pretend I am an expert, and pretend I know more than Putin. Soooo ….

WHY THE FUCK IS PUTIN HOLDING BACK … AND FORCING HIS TROOPS TO FIGHT WITH ONE HAND TIED BEHIND THEIR BACKS??? PUSSY!

Yeah, yeah, I’ve read all about this strategy from Saker, MoA, Martinov, etc … about not wanting to destroy a country only to have to spend fortunes rebuilding it, minimizing Russian soldier casualties, and of course a good portion of Ukies (esp. in the East and South) are Russian. All this makes sense. But, still …

1) …. A couple of days after the awesome fantastic glorious Ukienazi victory the Russians in one evening sent some missiles into Country 404 …. resulting in about half the country going completely dark! Russia can literally darken the entire country in one evening, if they wanted to. Russia can do exactly the same to Ukienazi communications infrastructure. Even with massively super-duper-extra-ali-docious weapons from the West how long can Country 404 hang on without power and communication?? A few weeks? A few days? Whatever … NOT LONG!!!

2) Why in Da Fook isn’t Putin dropping bombs on KEEEEV??? Specifically, on Piano Dick’s head, since they know where he is every second of the day?? Hasn’t it been the goal of every military ever to cut off the HEAD of the enemy?

IMHO, do those two things and the war is over in weeks, if not days. Puttie, my dear friend, what the fuck are you waiting for??

Thus ends my hysteria and ranting.

See what is starting in Azerbaijan / Armenia, Tajikistan / Kirghistan, and Israel / Syria. Russia has defense obligations with one country in each pair and I imagine they expected Globohomo to start stirring the shit with many of these countries to spread Russia’s military commitments thin.

I don’t know about bombing Keeev, but at least destroy the railways and roads that the GAE has been using to bring in their weaponry.

My bad. I did not mean randomly bombing Keeev just for the hell of it, especially not purely civilian targets.

Bomb the fucken parliment building … when they are in session. I agree with railroads and roads. And ALL communication assets. Forcing the Ukie troops to fight blindly would mean the end of them.

The Special Military Operation has a specific and defined legal framework. You are asking why the Russians haven’t declared war.

I’ve seen estimates from Duran contributers (Andrei et al) that as many as 1/3 of Ukrainian “soldiers” are actually NATO volunteers.

My friend here (I could dredge up photos, but why?) in Misery has a grandson, Zach, who enlisted in US Army last year and is now being sent to Poland as part of Search and Rescue efforts.

Am sad to hear this.
