For what it is worth, I live in a VERY poor, VERY rural county. The largest town in the county is under 3,000 people, and the second largest is under 400. If I drive an hour through the mountains I can be at a town that has almost 11,000. So why do I stay here?
Because it is paradise. The place is 96% White, 3% Hispanic, and 1% everything else. People are polite, even the kids. The crime rate is so low the police station closes at night and on weekends. We had four cars stolen last summer by a gang which drove here from three hours away. They managed to steal the cars because the keys were in the ignition. Yep, it’s that kind of place.

Per the food truck one
During this years spring club1390 poker run, they were checking vax status so a food truck parked out front for us non vaxers. It was so popular and successful they were asked to come back for the fall run. Just sayin.
