Exactly. The only thing hitting your kids teaches them is that you’re an emotionally reactive person and aren’t capable of of using your words like an adult. Not a good strategy.

Violence is by far the most effective way to order society. It is very sad that this is true, and it would be nice if it was not, but the fact remains that violence is the fundamental and most basic natural way to control things.
Violence is what we turn to for self-defense, to secure territorial boundaries – from your car, to your home, to your country’s borders. We use violence to enforce trade agreements, to protect natural resources, to protect home and family, to support and enforce human rights, to establish governments, to give force to the law, to give force to customs, to ensure that the society runs on common principles. This violence is usually, in a well-ordered society, hidden beneath custom, accepted norms, and shunning of those who would act against norms and custom.
Violence is that structure that undergirds all of civilization. The only difference between civilization and anarchy is that in anarchy violence is general and chaotic. In civilization, violence is controlled, and applied to ends that are both rational and beneficial.
Violence does not only beget violence, it also contradicts and prevents violence. Truly a paradox.
Violence is a tool. It can get things that cannot be gotten in any other way. The catch is who will employ violence, by what rules with they employ it, to what ends will they employ it, and at what point will they stop employing it?
Sheep are pacifists. Both wolves, sheep-dogs, and shepherds use violence.
The people, as a whole, as political factions, or as individuals, have no option but to choose how they will employ violence. Will they require their rulers to employ it for beneficial means? Will they quaver when it is employed by non-state actors such as antifa? Will they let their businesses, communities, and families be preyed upon by others or will they use it to promote their values? Or will they refuse to employ it and leave their daughters to looted by those who are less squeamish?
What is strength? Isn’t it, in the final analysis, the ability to employ violence?
Will you be strong? Or will you be weak?
If you choose to be weak, how will you ensure that the strong who rule you will be benevolent.
It is obvious for everyone who has eyes to see, that violence is no longer being employed rationally for beneficial ends, to protect those who make up the foundation for society.
So what now?

This is referring to stay active in your kids lives. I lived in a typical suburban circle in Anchorage AK. I would say there were at least 30 houses in the circle. There were only 3 parents that did stuff with their kids. I would take out a whiffle like bat and ball and start pitching to the kids. Soon, I would be pitching to a whole bunch. Most had never played before. So I had to show them everything. I even had to teach the boy of very well known PE teachers, both husband and wife, how to hold the bat. This was while working a construction job that was sometimes two weeks straight of 12 hour days. I was what’s wrong with these parents that never do anything with their kids? Also went on many an adventure of bike riding, hiking, picnics, zoo, etc… My Dad never did shit with us. But, I had many a big brother that did.
Children will rebel from parents that are uninvolved.
They will gravitate to involved parents (even not their own).
There were always ‘cool’ dads when I was growing up.
The ones that took their kids camping (and any friends that could tag along),
the ones that set up and coached stick ball teams,
the one that had 11 kids and invited all the neighbor kids over for Sunday pancake breakfast,
the ones that took any interested kids to the range where they learned gun safety and discipline,
the ones that did the backyard chemistry experiments (usually with something burning or exploding) and showed how to work with these safely (my neighbor was an ord disposal tech from Vietnam). He also showed fireworks safety to all the neighbor kids every July.
When neighbor kids got old enough, the ‘cool’ dads organized the hunting parties for upstate.

My father was violently abusive with me and my siblings (I’m the oldest — he got a lot of practice in before my closest brother who’s 5 years my junior) … and, trust me, nothing ever got beat out of me except my self-worth and my heart and my soul …
Getting beaten by someone so much bigger than you — someone that family and Church all say is someone you must look up to — created a lot of dissonance for many, many years … and damaged a lot internally …

That may work to de-trans them…or they just commit suicide. My wife said her work hired a tranny freak (a “man” that has turned to a “women”). The freak has long hair, wears heals, and uses the womens bathroom. I guess the thing talks to no one is very awkward. I told her the best way to get of the freak is to embarrass the hell out of it. Invite it to meetings and make them speak. Of course with all of the HR protections you can’t even look at them the wrong way.
Whatever works. A few of the “trans” kids have genuine mental issues that never get addressed properly. They funnel them into a trans medical program because there is so much money to be made there. Some states have laws whereby a CPS (not even protective anymore) seizes the kids and the parents have no control over what happens to them.
4th Wave Now is an organization of parents (secular) who have kids that were misdirected in some way to transition. They have been fighting this nonsense for 7 years. What’s worse is parents who encourage little children to participate. You would be surprised what you would learn from this website. This issue touches every family in some way whether you know it or not.
Here is one example of a 15 yr old with mental issues that were ignored so she could get a mastectomy.
