California Wealth Tax to be Applied to Anyone Whoever Worked in the State

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Some people have written in and said I am just a Republican and I hate California. Sorry, I consider myself in the middle. I disagree with a lot on the Republican side as well. Simply put, the government should NOT be in the business of trying to manipulate society any more than the Investment Banks have tried to manipulate the markets and when they blow up, they run to the government for bailouts. The fines they get from CFTC ad SEC and just their 10% take of the amount of money they make on such schemes.

California is the absolutely WORSE state to live in. They are so MARXIST you cannot even imagine. They are proposing to create a WEALTH TAX and apply it to anyone who has ever worked in California. You better know that California has been going after people who worked in that state, but then moved to Florida. They then hunt them down and demand state income taxes arguing that they earned that pension while they were in California.

Plain and simple, California is the state from HELL. It views people as its economic slaves. Yes, you are a slave – the property of the state. It does not matter where you have moved to, they view it that you remain their property.  California is out of control. It will NEVER reduce its size, it looks down upon the people as their endless possession. Slavery ended with the Civil War but that was only private slavery. The state has replaced that and it outright claims you are its property. They never heard of no taxation without representation. If you move out of state, you forfeit your right to vote in California. So we have exactly the very same situation that led to the American Revolution – you are taxed under tyranny and have no right to even be heard.

What California has been doing to those who retire out of state, they will do to absolutely everyone who has ever worked in that God-forsaken land of inequity.

Just for the record, you must report every asset you own everywhere in the world, and then you are taxed on that as if it were a property tax. Every year you will be taxed and if your assets declined, that’s your problem. You will be taxed on what the state says it is worth.

California can announce anything they like … but it won’t pass constitutional muster. After piling on 10 million dependents, they are at the end of the rope.

There could be 10 million “dependents” in LA county alone, they truly have no idea how many there are there, how many one bedroom apartments have 12-15 people living in them.

I worked for korean and jewish developers in LA County … after a given apartment project was finished and got its COO (certificate of occupancy), the developer would keep it off the rental market for a couple extra months while they divided every apartment into 2 apartments.

Then they’d ‘hot bed’ them … one mexican family lives in the unit from midnight to 8 a.m., another mexican family lives in the unit from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and a 3d mexican family lives in the unit from 4 p.m. to midnight.

Works great for the developers … not so great for US Citizens and taxpayers who are having to deal with this nonsense … and, when those projects are HUD projects, having to pay for all of it as well.

I’m no accountant (wife is!) but, how will this be enforced if passed? Do state agencies even have that reach? Will they try and use federal code (IRS) or go after state registered fund managers and try and lein accounts?

Not that anything surprises us anymore but that just seems so outside the realm of possibility as to boggle the mind.

They just strong armed my bank, reached in and yanked 6000 dollars out. They claimed I was still a California resident even though I’ve lived in the Bahamas for twenty years!!

Do you still have ANY money in a bank?

They can only take what you make available for them to steal.

I work for a very liberal job site superintendent who claims that all the illegals entering the country, don’t pose a problem, the real problem is the government does not tax enough. Period. Spending? The government does not spend enough on it’s citizens.
He’s a union carpenter and nothing more than a parrot who bobs his head and repeats whatever storyline he’s told, you can’t even have a conversation with him because his only response to any question is to giggle and repeat what he just said, over and over and over. Mindless braindead drone.

Government is a reflection of it’s citizens, and look at the majority of citizens. The attention span of a goldfish, the only “knowledge” they possess is what the media tells them between a barrage of woke commercials, in debt up to their eyeballs but still download the app to buy now, and pay later……. We will all pay later.

This country is toast.

Card,I am amazed you can work for such a idiot as your supervisor.

As a licensed builder with a lot of also useless certs. and no kids can at drop of a hat quit any what I find intolerable jobs,as I would in your case.

The reason folks hire me is despite the useless certs./license ect. I am still willing to do the shit jobs and volunteer as when you do that folks tend to leave you alone and within reason can take your time.

It wasn’t too long ago California was touting how much money they had and all of the glorious things they were going to spend the money on, such as expanding abortion access and extending health care to more undocumented immigrants.

That’s illegal aliens, nowhere near being immigrants … which implies that they have a legal right to be in the United States.

The bottom line is that all these Blue States will attempt to tax the sales of real estate if you
Move to another state. (Yes that’s their enforcement mechanism on other forms of wealth taxes as well)

Locking everyone in their homes with rising interest rates has been a boon for Blue State enslavement. Now will be the time to advance with increasing sales taxes, income taxes and more property taxes.

I worked the graveyard shift for a couple of months, for probably minimum wage, in 1985, at a now-defunct residential fleabag hotel’s front desk, where I also lived, in the Tenderloin in S.F., CA. I wonder if these leeches are gonna find me and take seventeen dollars outa my hide, plus fees and three and a half decades in interest. Just paid a 1999 traffic citation online for fifty bucks.

I would be more concerned
about a large enough demolition
charge off the coast, that would
spread the chemical munitions
dumped there into the atmosphere
of the left coast.

I think it’s possible that the cause
of the “Deepwater Horizon” event
was that they accidentally triggered
ww2 dumped munitions in the gulf
with their drilling gear.

You know, because they were trying
to drill in the middle of a vast military munitions and chemicals sea dump.

It is supposedly a fact that every
coast off N America has chemicals, munitions and unimaginable
toxic waste, dumped into them.

A detonation at these underwater
toxic and explosive sea dumps
would be a very dirty bomb indeed.

OK, then why would anybody live in California? I sure wouldn’t. I have never liked the place. Sure there are some pretty nice landscapes but much of it is an artificial shithole, or just a shithole. I drove out into the desert just east of LA one time. I made the mistake of rolling down the window. My face was sand-blasted. Ugly, ugly, ugly.

The whole place looks like it was thrown up in an afternoon. Nothing permanent. LA is just an urban mess. I don’t know San Francisco and never will. San Diego was sort of OK, I guess.

The white people are goofy and the rest are just aliens who do not belong there.

I will never erase from my mind the last thing I saw as I drove into LAX for a blessed flight back to Florida. A homeless black man was standing in a flower bed right next to the entrance of the departure area.

As I descended from my taxi he dropped his trousers and I was treated to the sight of an enormous turd emerging from his shriveled buttocks.

Sic Transit Gloria California.

If you were fool enough to live there, get your assets out, and then get your ass out.

This insane wealth tax law is obviously unconstitutional, but who needs the headache of fighting it.

The Gavin Newsom’s have ruined what was once called a Golden State. When the Reconquista begins, they will all be dangling from ropes, their sun-tanned faces with tongues protruding and their Gucci loafers flying off into space.

Screw all of them.

Absurd is a word I find myself using more and more.

This CA tax proposal is absurd. I suppose they can do whatever they want to people in CA (if it is constitutional) but they can not tax people in other states. It just can’t be legal. Say CA passes a law claiming the people of FL owe CA income/wealth taxes – period. Is that legal ? Then FL can pass a law saying the residents of FL do not owe CA taxes. It is all nonsense. What they will do is even more people out of CA. They will also run capital (wealth) out of CA.

There are lots of absurd things in the news about CA as of late.

1) They are trying to control the speech of doctors there.
2) 5 million each for slavery reparations.
3) Trying to control the pay and benefits of large fast food chains across all of America.

Maybe it’ll piggyback on the impending CBDCs operation, just digitally ripping off bank accounts, or some other such scam. Many trends have historically begun in Cali, and as one commenter above mentioned, blue states would likely collaborate and act as enforcers, and/or follow suit, including the reparations nonsense.

Scripted incompetence. California is meant to spin completely out of control and require repeated, massive (illegal) FedGov bail-outs. Metro blue states will enroll in that same program because economically retarded voters are delighted.

That will finally crush the pitiful USD currency and hampers the paying red States from cleanly fleeing USS Titanic due to Sunk Costs of now partially owning these blue, burning dumpster States.

I’m sure the globalist will step in to lighten everyone’s burden at the exact right moment. “Sign here, in blood please. Thankyouverymuch.” Lights out for past traditions, c’est la vie.

I drove thru commiefornia a few years back. Stayed in a camp ground on the coast one night too. Do you think they’ll come after me for taxes now?? I really hope so, can’t wait to pay. I feel it would only be fair given we’s white. I also think anyone that ever looked at commiefornia on a map should also pony uo too.

How will the Californian government enforce their authoritarian tax outside the state borders? Unlikely that other states will comply.

They could call it a “Special Jurisdiction” fusion center for California State Police and 87,000 new IRS agents and operate anywhere. Likely already in some multi-hundred thousand page bill rammed through D.C. with insufficient oversight.

… and the band played on.
