A commentator for the Global Times, reported a threat to the United States last Thursday night, stating that China would not hesitate to engage U.S. forces stationed in Taiwan if the Chinese launched an invasion of the island nation. Indeed, Hu Xijin, formerly the editor-in-chief of the Global Times, reacted to a Wall Street Journal report about U.S. troops traveling to Taiwan. He called it “illegal” and suggested that China would treat them as enemy combatants.
“It’s illegal for these US soldiers to go to Taiwan and the Chinese mainland won’t take any responsibility for their safety,” tweeted Hu. “If we take military action when necessary, they’ll be wiped out together with the resisting Taiwan troops. They can also be eliminated first as the invading army.”

1. China’s economy is much smaller than you think. Like, the size of Italy.
2. Xi is a weak leader. Literally. He looks like he’s about to die any second now. Cancer, I think.
3. We are fighting for democracy and freedom. Chinese are fucken Commies. We always win in these situations.
4. They’re atheists. We have God on our side. We always win in these situations.
5. China hasn’t won a war in like 5,000 years.
6. We still have the greatest military, with the best weapons of all time, ever. The kill-ratio of just the F-35 is something like 100-1.
7. Wars often come down to LEADERSHIP. We have a President who once beat the ever-loving shit out of CCC (Chung Chow Cornpop). So, China can go fuck a duck!

As per usual Martin puts the cart before the horse.
US says it is sending US Military assets to Taiwan for training- one must assume military training- against China, three days before China responds.
He cries out in pain as he strikes you is a quote I’ve heard before that adequately describes this kind of chicanery. You threaten action against someone and when they say they’ll defend themselves, you act aggrieved.
It’s tiresome.
War, whether we want it or not. They have to have war to try to paper over our paper money problems.
If we wanted a free Taiwan, John Foster Dulles had plenty of opportunities to ‘make it so’ going clear back to WW2. The US has elected to be vague on this issue, which is amazing since we have regime-changed just about every other place on Earth. We get what we deserve, whatever Taiwan’s fate.
5 Reasons Why Much Of Global South Isn’t Automatically Supporting The West In Ukraine
In October 2022, about eight months after the war in Ukraine started, the University of Cambridge in the UK harmonized surveys conducted in 137 countries about their attitudes towards the West and towards Russia and China.
The findings in the study, while not free of a margin of error, are robust enough to take seriously.
These are:
1. The Global South does not believe that the West understands or empathizes with their problems.
2. History Matters: Who stood where during colonialism and after independence?
3. The war in Ukraine is seen by the Global South as mainly about the future of Europe rather than the future of the entire world.
4. The world economy is no longer American dominated or Western led and the Global South does have other options.
5. The “rule based international order” is lacking in credibility and is in decline.
Taiwan is nothing; it’s all about the dollar .
Taiwan produces over 95% of the semiconductors in use globally. The west is wholly dependent, like on crack, chips and the products they are put in. China KNOWS this and for the chinese controlling the chips will cripple the US in every way imaginable. Its not about the dollars there.
I cannot help but to wonder if this is not all being engineered to facilitate the Downfall of the US, and not Russia or China. If you understand the history of WW1 & 2 you know that both were basically engineered to destroy Germany and Russia and maintain the US / UK hegemony. And despite being allies, the US capitalized on the wars to displace the UK as the primary world power and to take their position. By delaying its entrance into both world wars, the US allowed the former powers of Europe to weaken themselves, while we maintained our strength until the end when everyone else was exhausted.
The UK lost its empire and world standing, in large part because of its arrogance and belief in their exceptionalism, that they were racially superior to the rest of the world, even to the US who they considered a mongrel nation, of ignorant and uncivilized people.
The UK transitioned from a manufacturing economy to a banking economy, and were content to exploit the cheap labor of the US to produce goods, while they made fortunes loaning money.
We have that same situation today with the US and China, except the US and China are not political allies. China builds its manufacturing industries, while the US and Europe are happy to deindustrialize and focus on their financial industries.
This war in Ukraine, and the tensions with China are showing the US arrogance and belief that despite the fact we are no longer a manufacturing superpower, that we can defeat countries with larger manufacturing bases because we are “exceptional”.
Meanwhile, Russia and China are building new trading and banking systems designed to bypass and provide an alternative to SWIFT and other western systems. Russia is draining the economies and military power from the west in Ukraine, while China preserves its power for some point in the future.
I cannot help feeling as if I have read this script before, and that the outcome will not be in our best interests…..
Well, that’s obviously the point…..to create a causus belli…..by sacrificing our token force there. But Biden and the DS have already rigged the war as a loss by over extending our mliltary capacity to “Save Democracy” in the Ukraine. (aka destroying Russia)….we have no money or material left to fight China…….we have been sold out by our Judas class elites.
Really going to suck to be an American shortly…and for a long time thereafter.
