Exactly. The mistake that the Canadian truckers made was that they all should have just parked their rigs and stayed home, giving Justin Castro the big middle finger. If 5 or 10% did just that,they would have brought the system crashing down.

I noticed I haven’t seen any homeless in Billings lately which is extremely unusual. Turns out the city has been buying them one way tickets to the sanctuary city of their choice. This is exactly what needs to happen.
I just got back from Vancouver Island. I lived in Duncan (1 hour north of Victoria) 30+ years ago and it was a nice place. A few drunk Indians on occasion but no visible homeless. Now, just driving through town on the main highway I saw at least 50 clearly homeless folks. Just from the highway.
Went to Victoria and Nanaimo as well. They made Duncan look good. Literally hundreds of obviously homeless just on Bay Street in Victoria. Friends there tell me that is not even the worst of it.

It can’t be that the other cities in the province are sending their street people there as Kamloops, Vernon, Kelowna and the entire Fraser Valley are also overflowing with them from what I saw on my journey.
Shameful that a modern western civilization has allowed this to become normal.

As for a plan,how about working with like minded folks on the alt economy/try as much as reasonable to stop tax inflow by being in the underground economy /not buying stuff not really needed/barter ect would be a good start,then move on to higher goals but tis a start.
Good thinking, James. I buy my beef from local ranchers. I buy local A2 raw milk from a food co-op as well as as many groceries as I can, although I do buy organic berries and butter from Costco. And paper goods, birdseed, and a few other things. All of it taxed. Much in favor on the underground economy, but it’s dangerous to contemplate when authorities are in the mix. My property taxes are out of this world now that houses have multiplied in valuation these past few years. The local school superintendent in a area with about 50k population makes a sickening $250k per year along with medical, vacations, travel, and a pension guaranteed. Not easy to escape that craziness at this point.

I know a guy in AZ who partners with a farmer and together they own a cow. The farmer takes care of the cow and shares milk with the partners who contribute expenses. This arrangement gets around AZ laws against raw milk.
We were doing this in BC some years back. The communista govt caught on and outlawed it, as per the usual. Raw milk they say is far to dangerous for human consumption so they protected us. We’re happy now.

But what isn’t said is that the majority of people aren’t smart. A significant minority are in fact too stupid to support themselves and are therefor parasitic. A significant minority will not work, especially if they can be parasitic (the participation rate is around 60%, which includes many who have no intention of ever working).
60% of Americans receive more from the government than they pay in taxes. 35% of households have someone in it receiving SS benefits of some kind. 52% of all Americans are on one form of welfare or another.
So, who really is making something? What are the chances that people are really going to do something, when over half of the people are dependent on handouts for their standard of living? Then toss in the government workers, and their families, who make up a significant portion of the population.
The fact is, when such a large percentage of the population is beholden to the squid for its existence, nothing substantial will be done to rock the boat. Nothing will happen until the boat goes over the waterfall. Which is fast approaching.
So yes, the guy in the video is right. But he omitted to mention that so many of the people that actually do and create are tied to the squid. And so the squid will endure.
