Yeah, I don’t think it is that negative either (some people shun reality for a comfortable fantasy I reckon). Somebody mentioned prep stuff use to be more abundant at one time. That would seem like a no brainer still, the way things have been going (as well adverts as such would be more excepted). I often said that I certainly have more faith in sites that don’t neglect preparedness subjects (homesteading I consider a subcategory of such).

The perversion of the taxpayer funded education/indoctrination system has been building for more than a century. Some ideas that could help reverse the perversions.
First reform: funding must be directed equally to each student no matter where said pupil is schooled, at home or elsewhere, parents decide where and how their children are educated.
Second reform: abolish school districts, along with all of the bureaucracy that comes with them.
Third reform: each current taxpayer funded school converts to a charter school. A parent teacher council controls each school, the council consists of parents of students enrolled at that school and teachers employed there. The council majority will always be parents, the council hires and fires the head administrator and faculty. Parent teacher council is chosen by vote of parents of currently enrolled students.
One problem with that is that you see “parents” bringing their children to these abominations all the time. These children didn’t get there on their own.
Gonna venture a guess that the children being taken to these events probably come from the pedophile well known as CPS.
Perhaps the “parents” were given coupons to Chili’s or 10% off a tank of gas, as a reward for perverting someone else’ kids.
End property taxes and let any school be funded by either genuine charity or by the parents whose children attend.
