It’s kinda hard to withdraw “consent” when thugs in uniform and with guns forcing you to do shit, and the whole world seem cheering for them.
I’d have to guess that they’ve gamed this out pretty well, if what he says is true.
Some examples:
If they are trying to take out the global supply chain, then mass strikes and work stoppages will be like manna from heaven for them.
Armed resistance would allow martial law and gun bans.
Taking money out of banks allows them to crash the economy.
Maxing debt allows them to kick you out of your home, repossess your goods, and leave you in poverty, maybe welcoming a camp with “food” and “shelter.”
I think the only way to handle this is to get as self-sufficient as possible. Get out of debt, learn various skills (i.e. gardening preferred to guns), simplify your wants, needs, and lifestyles, and if you cannot stockpile goods, you should at least stock pile information (how-to books, old-time skills, science and technical, etc.) Lots of this stuff can keep you both alive and with something to barter. Distilling provides something that is useful for fuel, for sterilizing, and for good Friday nights. Seems like a winner.
