The US government is seizing farmland in South Dakota and no one is discussing it. Summit Carbon Solutions is building a pipeline through northeast South Dakota beneath private property and has the full support of the US government. Private citizens are being targeted, and this is all technically legal under eminent domain laws. Republican Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota has turned her back on the people and is supporting Summit Carbon Solutions.
Farmer Jared Bossley first issued complaints that have widely gone unreported. Bossley has been threatened by the corporation. He has recorded video of surveyors trespassing on his property to decide how to begin the construction. They are planning to ruin his personal property, without compensation, and the government has given them the green light under eminent domain laws. They even entered his home while his wife was home alone and recovering from surgery. When Bossley reported the situation to the cops, Bossley was told that HE was being served for threatening the surveyors. They tried to use contempt of court to silence him. Bossley is among 80 farmers in the area who are facing eminent domain lawsuits from Summit Carbon Solutions.
The carbon capture pipeline company wants lower emissions by taking liquid carbon from ethanol plants and storing it underground to meet ESG standards. This provides no economic value and is simply a ploy to adhere to the climate change agenda that is tied to the Great Reset. Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan, a staunch World Economic Forum supporter, has said numerous times that the US may soon need to invoke eminent domain and seize private property. This is happening right now and NO ONE is discussing one of the worst abuses of private property laws in modern US history. This is just the start.

For more than 60 years, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has known that the changes occurring to planetary weather patterns are completely natural and normal. I work in the energy industry. This article is a joke. There’s probably tons of eminent domain going on around the country right now. The courts are NOT always on the side of the energy companies. I worked on a project where my company took a landowner to court over eminent domain, the judge asked “so this is about money”? And ordered my company and the landowner into a room until an amount was agreed to. The landowner made out like a bandit.

Certainly eminent domain lawsuits are spread around the country. There is a difference however when a proposal supposedly is of benefit to all as in new highways and expansion of existing transportation ROWs and one resulting in private gain alone. Even with new transportation corridors the Public Private Partnership idea comes into play as witnessed in Texas’ during Rick Perry’s tenure and continuing.
The landowner would be SOL if the lawsuit involved a public thoroughfare or even a public building as far as negotiating strength. In your case kudos to the landowner he got much for the exchange. Whether public or private makes no difference in a landowner absorbing the idea of Liberty?

If it is an underground pipeline, why do they need to sieze the land? They simply put in their pipeline, pay the landowner for the easement and life goes on.
If they used nuclear tunnel borers they could go deep enough no one would ever know in the first place.
Does our claim to land extend to Earth’s core and into the vastness of the heavens? That seems unenforceable on its face, does it not?
It’s almost as if the Government is going out of its way to instigate strife instead of “ensuring tranquility”.
It may seem unenforceable, but that is considered the way it works under real estate law (known as the full bundle of property right), though it has been compromised to a great extent, such as extending into heaven having been now subject to the FAA, at least here in the US. And most people don’t own mineral rights.

I’ve yet to meet either a real estate agent OR a lawyer with the ability to Journey To The Center Of The Earth. That makes it unenforceable. At least that’s my understanding of “unenforceable”.
Nonetheless, if you own the land in whole you own it just as described. Feel free to sell your right to it to someone else so they can make big money off of it. I’ll keep mine since it makes me money from people who like utilizing what can at present be reached.
