Some honesty from a normal, hard-working American. Made me think a little of our own Hard Farmer.
That could have been me, burning a nice fire sitting around with the dog, except I’d have a glass of bourbon in hand. When he says I just don’t care anymore, I prefer “fuck it”.

Most people figured this out many moons ago. The more regular people who start these conversations, the better. It is past time to start speaking up about the criminal cartel.

Sounds like me.

Reasonable people have become radicalized without even understanding how it happened simply because they have the ability to see things as they are.

I know, right?

There’s nothing hateful or bigoted about reality, it’s a simple observation of how things are. It’s how other people feel about you noticing it that bothers them.

We all understand where we are right now- the folks who read here regularly- and we are all fairly reasonable folks who mind their own business on the personal level and tend to just go about their daily business without infringing on anyone’s rights. I’d wager that most of us are fairly inoffensive in our personal dealings and strive to be neighborly and kind towards everyone we encounter and yet we’re considered the fringes of society. I wonder how that came to be, just like this guy and I am often amazed by how easily others take offense at virtually everything except their own behaviors.

Dropping out- for lack of a better term- and choosing to sit on the sidelines of our civilizational life seems to me to be the wisest decision as the wheels come off the bus. Look out for ourselves and families, be gd to our friends and neighbirs, see to the most important needs and discard as much of the superfluous and luxurious while keeping an eye on the opportunities that arise from these troubled times.

Remember it’s reasonable men who do the necessary work and help to keep food on the table and the water flowing from the tap. We’re not out of time, and it isn’t hopeless, but if we don’t focus on buiding these relationships, honing our skills and stockpiling those things that will come in handy in the future we’re going to wind up getting ground up by the wreck that’s coming.

Politics is dead, there are no solutions left in that sector so aside from keeping an eye on their machinations all our time ought to be spent on something productive.

And stay reasonable, it’s not as bad as they make it out to be.
