Every single time someone brings up climate change or global warming or whatever that nonsense is going by these days, you rub their noses in cities. Contrast any mid sized city east and west. The east cities are clean with very little graffiti, no drunks or drug addicts milling around openly using or begging for money. Mass transit is mostly clean, bright and graffiti free. Polar opposite in most western cities today.
Eastern people are friendlier than most western people, imo. They grew up under communism and know what that brings. They know exactly the trajectory the west is embracing and where it leads. They’ve been there done that, and don’t want it again.

The is the Feds reverse repo account. This is the account the Fed uses to purchase Treasuries, in order to hold down interest rates. The account is being depleted so rapidly, it now has less that a billion dollars left, and will be completely drained in less than 3 months.
At that point, without the Fed purchases, the interest rates on Treasuries will have to be increased to attract new buyers to replace the Fed purchases.
That will have 2 effects. One it will raise interest rates across the board, and second, it will drain liquidity from the private market making loans much harder to get for private business, and consumer purchases.
At this point the recession will get much worse, and the economy will enter a debt default / unemployment feedback loop.
