USEFUL IDIOTS

Guest Post by Hardscrabble Farmer

I stumbled across this short clip of a young woman being fired via Zoom. It struck me as an apt metaphor for the way Heritage Americans, i.e. Whites, are being dealt with on a societal scale in not only the business world, but politically.

They are being replaced. It isn’t a feeling; it is a reality. The language used to carry out this disenfranchisement has heretofore been couched in all kinds of squishy, deflecting, meaningless expressions that fail to state the obvious, but rather to obscure what is actually happening. To promote diversity, to boost inclusion, to provide opportunity, yadda, yadda, yadda. While these phrases sound like something positive, they are the opposite for the objects of this displacement.

For example-

Corporate America Promised to Hire a Lot More People of Color. It Actually Did.

In the year following the Black Lives Matter protests, S&P 100 companies added more diverse workforces.

https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2023-black-lives-matter-equal-opportunity-corporate-diversity/

There is simply no accounting for this type of disparity in corporate hiring unless you are deliberately trying to eliminate White workers in order to replace them.

The worker in the clip- judging by her makeup and elocution- is almost certainly a standard progressive, liberal, college graduate who did everything required by the current culture to reject the traditions of her forebearers in order to promote cultural diversity. She believes, mistakenly, that a rational discourse and calm demeanor will help her to hold on to a job that simply will not be an option for her, and certainly any children she may have in the future if they resemble her.

She is unaware of how revolutions operate, how the first victims of any Marxist styled overthrow of the existing order are always the useful idiots who made it possible. It is especially touching when she attempts to use things like hard work, responsibility, meeting standards and showing up in order to defend herself, not understanding that each of those traits has already been identified as artifacts of White supremacy. I’m shocked they failed to point that out to her, she would have been appalled at her failure to adequately support the goals of the revolution.

What I found to be even more interesting was the language and tone of the two layoff specialists, a homosexual and a slightly older feminist middle manager who knew precisely which catchphrases and jargon to use on their GenZ victim in order to kiss her out the door. Nonsensical gibberish that speaks to nothing and gives up only their relief in still having their job, however distasteful it might be. Underneath it you can tell, when she confronts them directly, that they understand precisely what’s going on and that they too are probably on thin ice once the culling has been completed. But like a good capo, they’re just following orders.

This scene is a bit more entertaining, but it tells the same story- Art imitates life.

At least she’s a girl, so there’s a chance to get a new job. Try being a White heterosexual male in today’s world; you won’t get the time of day from any company and are labeled as Hitler daily by society.

The nameless, faceless scourge of HR strikes again. You must be some kind of mental defect to want to work in HR in this day and age. My company’s’ HR is a complete and hysterical DIE joke, and they know it. Having some low-brow doucher whom you do not know fire you on a zoom call is lower than Lebron James giving another $50 to Akron City Schools.

It reminds me of the 2009 film “Up in the Air” where George Clooney flies around the country to perform in-person hatchet services for companies doing mass layoffs. Most companies don’t give a moment’s thought to whether they need to lay someone off. It’s brutal. I don’t know if it’s materially different in other societies. I think about that film often.

The young lady obviously had ample opportunity to come up with a plan to confront the 2 termination specialists and did an admirable job of presenting her case, knowing that it was a lost cause. The termination specialists engaged her too much and never said anything coherent. I was once told that when you terminate someone, the less you say, the better. Let them get it off their chest and then say, “I’m sorry you feel that way.”

the ‘termination specialists’ have a combined IQ of 80. HR is quite literally where all the below average IQ that ‘graduate’ college end up. It is comprised of the least skilled, lowest aptitude workers … THE useful idiots. They are handed a list of skills to check off for applicants and dont think twice if the are told to hatchet anyone white.

Business and the economy in general is going to absolutely freefall now that the first entrants from Z enter the workforce and into lower management. These are the first entrants that have been indoctrinated through the entirety of K – 12 and college.

That was a compassionately wordy analysis. Bitch had it coming. I don’t care how nice she is in person. She had power. She misused it. She will continue to misuse it. She is a reliable useful idiot, which is why we should never allow our women a choice on cultural fundamentals or political policy. Traditionalists would not suffer liberated women. Here we are, suffering.

I am no longer concerned about protecting my fellow subhumans from suffering. She looks like she had time to do a nice make-up job. How old is she? Did she marry and have children? Can she still? I think her best womb years are behind her. The enemy likes it that way.

For an earlier rhyme of history, see Livius, book 34, sections/chapters 1-3 and maybe 4 regarding the repeal of Lex Oppia and representing a speech by Cato in favor of keeping rather than annulling the law. It is ancient women’s liberation, useful for the state people to emasculate the potential challengers to their desired abuses.

Section 3 (https://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/text?doc=Perseus%3Atext%3A1999.02.0148%3Abook%3D34%3Achapter%3D3):

Recollect all the institutions respecting the sex, by which our forefathers restrained their undue freedom, and by which they subjected them to their husbands; and yet, even with the help of all these restrictions, you can scarcely keep them within bounds. [2] If, then, you suffer them to throw these off one by one, to tear them all asunder, and, at last, to be set on an equal footing with yourselves, can you imagine that they will be any longer tolerable by you? [3] The moment they have arrived at an equality with you, they will have become your superiors. But, forsooth, they only object to any new law being made against them: they mean to deprecate, not justice, but severity. [4] Nay, their wish is, that a law which you have admitted, established by your suffrages, and confirmed by the practice and experience of so many years to be beneficial, should [p. 1493]now be repealed; that is, that, by abolishing one law, you should weaken all the rest. … What motive, that even common decency will allow to be mentioned, is pretended for this female insurrection? [9] Why, say they, that we may shine in gold and purple; that, both on festal and common days, we may ride through the city in our chariots, triumphing over vanquished and abrogated law, after having captured and wrested from you your suffrages; and that there may be no bounds to our expenses and our luxury.

Translation by Evan T. Sage (https://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/text?doc=Perseus%3Atext%3A1999.02.0164%3Abook%3D34%3Achapter%3D3):

If they win in this, what will they not attempt? Review all the laws with which your forefathers restrained their licence and made them subject to their husbands; even with all these bonds you can scarcely control them. What of this? [2] If you suffer them to seize these bonds one by one and wrench themselves free and finally to be placed on a parity with their husbands, do you think that you will be able to endure them? The moment they begin to be your equals, they will be your superiors. [3] But, by Hercules, they object to the passage of any new law against them, they complain not of law but of wrongs done them; [4] what they want, rather, is that you repeal this law which you have approved and ratified and which in the trial and experience of so many years you have found good: in other words, that by abolishing this one law you weaken the force of all the rest. … What pretext, respectable even to mention, is now given for this insurrection of the women? [9] ‘That we may glitter with gold and purple,’ says one, ‘that we may ride in carriages on holidays and ordinary days, that we may be borne through the city as if in triumph over the conquered and vanquished law and over the votes which we have captured and wrested from you; that there may be no limits to our spending and our luxury.’

I could care less if they fired her. Hopefully she takes the opportunity life just handed to her and gets knocked up, pronto. She’s a young woman who should be married and having babies, not pretending to do whatever someone does at Cloudflare after they’ve completed a three month ramp- whatever the hell that means.

My point had nothing to do with whether or not she was a value to the company, but rather that the people who act as foot soldiers for the Marxist Revolution are often the first to get the ax. When I see a woman in the corporate world my first thought is never is she good at her job? I assume, like most AA hires, that she’s simply acting as a corporate cockblock for a far more qualified White male, doing her part to speed up the dispossession.

If they wanted to fire someone they should start with whoever designed their website because it makes Gravity’s Rainbow read like Fun With Dick and Jane. What a disaster. I know less about the company now than when I didn’t know what they did and that’s not a joke.

Not a joke.

The first thing I did when brought in to turnaround a business was to fire all but one of the HR personnel. They were the bastion of left wing do nothing types. They were never missed. Well, you have to not give a shit about corporate politics for one thing. Because doing what I did – saving distressed plants and companies – tends to make a lot of enemies. Focus on the results and don’t worry about anything else. You tend to be in demand as a gun for hire. But the casualty lists you create in the saving of said entities tends to make it impossible to reach the very top of large corporations. But you will always be wanted.

Cloudflare provides services to web users who need protection. Things like DDoS attacks (hundreds of robot accounts try to swamp a given website to deny information / access to their customers) require higher-level resources to defeat; Cloudflare provides such services and prevents the bots from getting through to the website.
That being said, their handling of these layoffs certainly makes one question why you would ever go to work for them in the future. Also, if this behavior (tormenting employees with unexpected layoffs) became widely enough known, their recruiting efforts might quickly run into quicksand, since who wants to risk going through this? Then again, neglect / unpleasant behavior seems to be the norm in employment these days; ghosting contacts, lack of feedback, lack of empathy and sheer abrasiveness is reported in many sectors of the economy. Civilizations deteriorate from erosion of personal relations, wherever the decay occurs.

Corporate is a structured philosophy of endurance. The company’s endurance. Not yours. It seems obvious to me, a non corporate ground pounder, a purchaser of material from the corporate behemoth only. Why does the large corporation pay and benefit their employees so much better than the small? Why do they have not the slightest loyalty to any employee (below a certain level)? Is it not plain to see? You are a unit of labor, of production, if you are necessary and functional within established guidelines (and you make no fatal political mistakes) you remain. If otherwise you are removed. A current fatal political mistake is to be the wrong pigmentation, gender reality, sex, sexuality, political affiliation or other current sociopolitical hot button issue. This will evolve, but the common understanding will remain.

The current dalliance with employing persons for reasons other than competence is not going to be a temporary one. The metrics of competence are being driven down until they meet the level of ability exhibited by those employed due to their political desirability. Your competence, if in excess of the diversity hire, is no benefit to you, it is a detraction to your desirability.

The union would call you a rate breaker and if you didn’t heed the warning your tires would be slashed and you might even sprout a nasty bunch of oozing purple, yellow and red lumps. Your corporate master simply removes you.

Get with it, get over it, grow up. You wanted the status, the pay, the benefits, the cush of the corporate job, this is the downside. Look at the bright side, they’ll go too far with the diversity jokestroke and call you back… if you aren’t too old and obsolete. Or maybe they won’t. It’s the same to them either way and you don’t matter at all.

100 percent correct! I’ve been self employed for my entire 48 years in service work and I’ve made my share of mistakes and pissed off some people that I probably (from a monetary standpoint) shouldn’t have, but I have never made more easy money than I’m making now since the scamdemic was instituted . I’m sure that it helps that I’m a certified master in electrical and mechanical trades and owe my start to a father who was a master bricklayer and that was my career too for the first 12 years until I decided that it was too hard on my back. I’ve done all kinds of shit jobs that paid obscenely that were much harder than easy stuff like electrical work simply because most folks won’t stoop to doing something menial. I am 67 and in pretty good shape for an old dude and I love working hard and making lots of money and have no intentions of ever retiring. There are a lot of opportunities out there if one is willing to get in the trenches because TPTB love their easy life and luxuries and don’t care what it costs. It may not always be like that but if things completely go to crap, heck, I was Amish until I was 29 and I still know how to survive with very little. I’ll be honest, I don’t want to, but most folks have no idea how to grow their own food, shoot and butcher their meat and can it to preserve it.
Back to this article, these kind of jobs (corporate)are completely disposable in the coming economy.

I would have never done what she did. My response to being told I’m being laid off would simply be – OH, OK. But what allowed me to be able to have that attitude was that I never lived paycheck to paycheck like too many do. I lived well below my means (had no debt other than a mortgage) and had adequate savings to where if I was out of work even up to a year it would not have been a problem.
Live paycheck to paycheck and yeah you will be kissing ass and begging to keep your job.

My experience is that almost no people change their job performance. It is most cost efficient to simply toss them than to waste resources and time trying to get lazy, incompetent oafs to become hard-working and effective.

Management’s duty is to make the largest possible profit within the bounds of the laws. They don’t have any duty whatsoever to inform her of any damn thing save where it impacts their legal obligations such as safety, etc.

Wake up.

My experience is that AA hires rarely get performance reviews and seldom get coached. To the hiring manager (who is forced to play the AA game) it is like having a big pimple on your ass that you can’t reach. Best thing to do is get another manager to give the AA a promotion with more pay.

If only she had a male boss who was unhappy in his marriage and who “helped” her pull herself up by her bra straps on a regular enough basis that she got 2 promotions a year in his department with at least 3 pay increases. Saw that happen twice, and one of the home wreckers became CEO of a large high tech company-until she wasn’t. Peter Principle in action.

When I was let go due to the vaxx mandate, it was done remotely because I wasn’t allowed into the office since I was unjabbed.
The two people who fired me, whom I knew well, and were both absolute Jonestown-worthy corporate believers, read off their HR provided corporate script. At the end of the proceedings they said we’d love to have you back if things change (or words to that effect). I bit my tongue.
Sure enough, things did change, and a month after I was let go, a corporate recruiter reached out to me to see if I would take the same position, as a contractor, with the ability to work remote.
I declined.
Fast forward a year and a half later, to Sep 2023, and the two people who fired me were both let go in a 5,000 employee purge.
Was it wrong that I found them getting let go uproariously funny?

Sounds similar to my experience, with the exception that the VP of HR lied to me when I asked him if I was on a DNR – do not rehire – list.

Almost one year to the day of my leaving, the company had rescinded the vaccine mandate. For grins and giggles, I applied for a position that I was eminently qualified for, mostly because it was nearly identical to the job I had left. Other than the pro forma auto reply email, I got nothing back from them. didn’t matter, cause I would’ve never gone back to work for that fascist company.

Smart managers no longer give references. Last decade or two I only allowed a letter saying they worked from date x to y. Companies have been sued because references were inaccurate/untruthful, etc. Best just to avoid that crap. Also, not many people I know that hire trust them anyway.

Companies don’t value people. Where on earth would you get such an idiotic idea? At best they may pretend to value people, when they need them. And those performance indicators, etc. exist so as to be able to get rid of them more easily. And so as to allow some means of sorting them when some of them need to be eliminated from the payroll.

I repeat – companies don’t value their employees, despite anything they say. They put up with them as a necessary evil. Only an idiot would want to have employees. People hire employees because they have no other options.

I worked for a guy in the late 1980s until 1991. He was the owner of rhe company, with a younger, very beautiful wife. I haven’t worked with him since 1991. He’s in his mid-eighties now and he, his wife, my wife, and I all had dinner together at an expenisive Italian restaurant two weeks ago. After dinner, he and I argued over who was going to pay the bill and I talked him into letting me pay because, at his age, I might not get another chance. He laughed and conceded.

There is another way. That’s all I was sayin’, people.

One job I knew going in to meet the boss I was getting fired. (I was part of a management group getting replaced. Cleaning house) I did very little talking, boss made sure I knew i was fired, most others were reassigned. Litte Prick would not even shake my hand at the end.

I was downsized with 78 other employees (all working in the corporate HQ Puzzle Palace) on a Friday at the age of 46, I was running three divisions and loved my job as I had clawed my way into it based on undeniable P&L results! The downsizing was a bolt out of the blue during a surprise take over by a competitor.

I was told my firing had nothing to do with me…the new company was eliminating most of our now redundant HQ positions, and mine was just one of many.

In the line the following week to get our severance packages (it was in early December just before Christmas (Ho Ho Ho) we found out none of us would be getting their yearend bonuses – mine was 15% and I had the P&L numbers for 100%.

There were mostly extremely angry/bitter people getting cut loose hearing that! You could hear their raised voices in the exit interview rooms…and the air was filled with their angry seething resentment.

I was ok as I had a number of headhunters calling me and probably was headed for an equal or even higher paid job…but it would be a move…and I had a daughter in her senior HS year, plus I loved NC, the church I was in, and did not want to relocate…I was finally HOME.

I was polite and upbeat in my exit interview…made some jokes, shook hands with everyone and all those in line getting their severance packages. Then I went into the HQ building (HR had a separate building) and made the rounds saying goodbye to many, including the VP of OPS (I had a dotted line reporting to him) my boss the CFO and his the CEO. Left them all smiling and laughing.

The next day I was called to come in and meet with the VP of OPS…he offered me another position (at a 30% cut in pay) and told me I was the only one out of the 79 downsized who made a HQ goodbye tour, and had the attitude I did.

I was thrilled! Then they told me as I had accepted I was still eligible for my 15% bonus. (Jingle Bells!)

I worked my ass off in the new position.

Four months later the buyout fell apart over some stock issues…I was the first one of only a few of the 79 downsized who was offered their exact old job back. Most had burnt that bridge during their exit interview or had another job they didn’t want to leave or it was discovered what they did wasn’t really missed or needed.

I was thrilled again!!!

A year later I was given another promotion and a 20% raise.

My Father had told me as a boy to always leave a job and whenever possible a girlfriend on good terms…he said never burn those two bridges son…because you never know when you may want to go back and cross either one again.

As usual the Sage was right.

Cloudflare’s stock price has gone from $212 to $78 in just over a year. Analysts project it to drop another 12% this coming year. It IPO’d in 2019 and is in an industry with vicious competition. There seems to be nothing unique or special about their products. That’s probably one reason she couldn’t sell anything. I would be shocked if this company even exists in a couple of more years. They will almost surely get bought out, probably at A LOT less than the current $78.

She was an “Account Manager” = No discernible skills, in a cutthroat industry, working for a company that is nothing special. It looks like she was hired in what used to be called a “cattle call”. Hire 50 people. After 3 months, get rid of everybody but the top 5. She needs to develop a skill set, like others on here have said, and get herself some type of administrative job. Sales ain’t for her. If she stays in sales, she should watch the movie Glengarry Glen Ross. That would be her future in sales.
