Someone who wants to make sure that you are laughing at any and all ideas except for the idea that you are on a spinning globe. We don’t know all of the details, but the earth is not a flat disc like in the meme, nor is it an imaginary NASA globe.

Some of my family and I watched the eclipse yesterday from a small (under 3,000) town which had probably another 10,000 visitors. Driving through town this morning my nephew remarked, “Hey! Where’s all the trash? The streets are clean.” He added “I guess they must not be environmentalists or they would have left a bunch of trash.” And yes, the streets were all clean. My estimate is that even counting the visitors it was 99% non-Africans here. Having lived in African majority neighborhoods I can testify that streets and yards full of trash is the norm there. Sad to think of Japan going that way.
