1st Annual Burning Platform Independence Day Celebration

For several years now our family have been hosting an annual pig roast that has fed as many as 150 guests from the bounty of our farm. It has given us an opportunity to not only share our spectacular views and location on beautiful Mount Sunapee, but for members of our community to gather together and enjoy each other’s company for a day. In the past we have kept the event local, but this year we’d like to welcome another community, one that every reader here has been an integral part of.

Our feast will be held on Saturday, July 6th and it promises to be our best yet. After consulting with Jim Quinn of The Burning Platform we have agreed to make this year’s event a celebration of Liberty, and the gift of Independence, and have decided to open our invitation to the readers of his blog. This will offer an opportunity to meet with some of their favorite writers and commentators, enjoy a genuine New England pig roast with a full farm to table banquet under the open sky.
