Palm Springs to Give Universal Basic Income to Trans Residents

The city council of Palm Springs, California has unanimously approved funding for a new Universal Basic Income pilot program.

The plan is to give cash payments specifically to homeless transgender residents.

It goes without saying that the program is explicitly discriminatory, and the council even acknowledged this in their discussion.

But even more interesting is the way that the city council is looking to fund this program.

They initially approved a grant of $200,000; however those funds will be used to apply for a $1 million to $5 million grant from the State of California.

In other words, Palm Springs is spending $200k in order to apply for up to $5 million of state and federal money; this would constitute a 25x ‘return on investment’ for them.

According to the council, the State of California has already allocated $35 million of taxpayer funds for transgender homelessness (most of which probably came from federal COVID bailouts).

As one member of the Palm Springs city council put it, they are “committed to applying for state dollars and trying to get our fair share of funding.”

So essentially the Palm Springs city council believes that their transgender homelessness program should be funded by taxpayers in Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, and the rest of the country.

Australian Woman Describes Two Weeks in Quarantine Camp

A 26 year old woman from Australia, Hayley Hodgson, was forced into a quarantine camp when one of her friends tested positive for COVID.

Hayley was threatened by police with a $5,000 fine if she didn’t “voluntarily” go to the camp for two weeks of isolation.

She spent 14 days in the camp, despite testing negative for COVID three times; she has still never caught COVID.

During her time in the camp, she was threatened with another $5,000 fine for leaving her small outdoor deck to take her trash out without a mask on.

Keep in mind that Hayley is an innocent person. She has committed no crime.

Santa Cruz California Issues Mask Mandate for Private Residences

Now that another COVID variant has emerged with a scary new name, governments are excited to flex their dictatorial COVID powers once again.

Santa Cruz County, California is back with an indoor mask mandate, but this time with a twist.

The public health order states that in addition to public places like restaurants and gyms:

“Masks must be worn in private settings, including your home, when non-household members are present.”

And yes, this applies to the fully vaccinated.

It’s hard to imagine that this order is legal or how local authorities will be able to enforce the rule.

The sheer insanity is that these bureaucrats think they have this kind of power to begin with.

True story about woman’s captivity by terrorists could “foster Islamophobia”

A Toronto-based book club whose members are primarily teenage girls regularly works with local schools to promote its events.

But the Toronto school board recently decided that they would not promote one of the book club’s upcoming events, featuring Nadia Murad.

Murad is the author of a book called The Last Girl: My Story of Captivity, and My Fight Against the Islamic State. It is her personal story of her time as a slave to IS terrorists.

Woke 401(k) rule quietly moves forward

Almost exactly one year ago, the US Department of Labor issued a regulation requiring that employers and their financial advisers choose employee investment plans based solely on financial factors… and nothing else.

Even more specifically, the regulation prevents employers from choosing a mutual fund or ETF whose main objectives are anything other than financial, i.e. mutual funds which place social or environmental justice above investment returns.

The rule effectively stopped employers from injecting their personal beliefs into their employees retirement plans.

A Florida father, Jeffrey Steele, was surprised one day when his young daughter Sophia came home from school with a mask on.

Jeffrey did not send Sophia to school wearing a mask because she has Down syndrome, cannot speak, and has an enlarged tongue, which makes it dangerous to force her to wear a mask.

And besides, Governor Ron DeSantis has banned Florida schools from requiring masks.

California Bans Gender Specific Toy Aisles

Wildfires burn across the California landscape, crime is skyrocketing in every major city, and a historic backup of shipping vessels bottlenecks off the coast.

But don’t worry, California’s government has its priorities straight.

In response to his state’s multiple crises, Governor Newsom has signed a law forcing all California toy stores to provide a ‘gender neutral’ section, “in which a reasonable selection of the items and toys for children that it sells shall be displayed, regardless of whether they have been traditionally marketed for either girls or for boys.”

The rule applies to all retail stores in California with more than 500 employees across the entire state.

New York Declares State of Emergency After Firing Unvaxxed Health Workers

Tens of thousands of healthcare workers in New York have been fired or placed on unpaid leave for remaining unvaccinated as the deadline set by the state passed.

Now the state is facing a shortage of healthcare workers, as at least 36,000 workers, or 8% of hospital staff in the state have not been vaccinated.

Some hospitals are now suspending elective surgeries— even before the deadline, and one hospital stopped delivering babies because of staff shortages.

Hospital Stops Delivering Babies Because Staff Quit Over Vaccine Mandate

Lewis County General Hospital in the State of New York announced it will stop delivering babies after September 24.

No, they aren’t overwhelmed by COVID patients. It’s because too many maternity unit workers have resigned in protest of vaccine mandates.

In August, New York issued a decree that all health workers must be vaccinated by September 27.

A total of 165 hospital employees, a full 27% of the staff are not vaccinated against COVID-19.

So far 30 have resigned, which includes six employees in the maternity unit, plus another seven unvaccinated maternity workers possibly being pushed out before the vaccination deadline.

Last year they were front line heroes in the fight against COVID. This year they are social outcasts, discriminated against by employers and the government because of a personal health decision.

These are health professionals— you’d think people would respect their expert opinions on personal health.

The Darebin City Council, in the suburbs of Melbourne Australia, posted a $63,000 per year job for a street-sweeper— but said it is looking for “non-male applicants only.”

The job ad says, “only applicants who identify as non-male including women, non-binary and gender non-conforming people are eligible to apply for this position.”

“Long Covid” Can Now Qualify as a Disability

The White House issued a lengthy statement this week, full of new guidance for a condition known as “Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection (PASC)”.

The media calls it “Long Covid”, and it essentially means certain symptoms of Covid lingering long after the infection has resolved.

Brain fog, headaches, fatigue, coughing, shortness of breath, anxiety, and dizziness on standing are all possible symptoms of Long Covid according to Health and Human Services guidelines.

UK to issue vaccine passports to people in the PLACEBO group

Britain’s “vaccine minister” (yes I’m serious) said that they would consider EVERYONE who participated in COVID-19 vaccine trials as being fully vaccinated.

And in his own words, that specifically includes people who received the PLACEBO.

Yes, that’s right. Even if you literally did not receive a COVID-19 vaccine, they will still treat you as if you had received the vaccine, and issue you a ‘vaccine passport’, simply because you participated in the clinical trial.

This really proves the idiocy of these passports. It’s not about whether or not you have natural antibodies from a prior infection.

And now it doesn’t even matter whether or not you received the actual vaccine.

The only thing that matters is whether you have subordinated yourself to their authority and received an injection— regardless of what was in it.
