In Move To Ban Charter Schools, Bernie Sanders Introduces ‘No Child Left Ahead Act’

Via The Babylon Bee

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Bernie Sanders has come out against charter schools. He is not a fan of the inequality and quality education they create. Sanders continued his attack on the schools this week, saying he would ban for-profit charter schools if elected president.

But in the meantime, the senator from Vermont has introduced official legislation to back his position: the No Child Left Ahead Act, a bill that would ban students from actually receiving a decent education in the public school system.

AOC and Bernie Sanders hate this tax incentive

Guest Post by Simon Black

At the Sun Valley investment conference in mid-1999, Warren Buffett made a rare prediction about the stock market.

1999 was THE top of the dot-com craze.

And Buffett saw countless companies going public, attracting billions of dollars of investor capital, despite being UNPROFITABLE and having NO business plan to EVER make money, ever.

This made absolutely no sense to him, and Buffett warned that the technology bubble was about to pop.

In normal times, every investor in the world would have listened to him.

But those weren’t normal times. People thought he was just a bitter old man who had missed the tech boom with no understanding of the “new economy”.

So Buffett was largely ignored.

Of course, only a few months later, the market peaked… and then fell 78%.

Amid Criticism, Bernie Sanders Vows To Be More Generous With Your Money In The Future

Via The Babylon Bee

WASHINGTON, D.C.—After it was revealed that Bernie Sanders only gave a very small percentage of his considerable wealth to charity upon release of his tax returns, socialist Bernie Sanders vowed to do better, promising to be more generous with your money in the future.

“I know I haven’t given as much to charity as I could have, but I’m going to try to be a lot more generous with your money going forward,” he said in a solemn press conference. “I only gave like 1-2% of my money away. And that’s just not right. After much r reflection and introspection, I’ve decided I’m OK with giving as much as 70, 80, or even 90% of your income away.”

Weird: Everyone Who Attended Bernie Sanders’ Town Hall Has Reported Their Wallet Missing

Via The Babylon Bee

NEW YORK, NY—Well, this is more than a little odd.

Every single attendee of Bernie Sanders’ town hall meeting on Fox News earlier this week has reported that their wallet has mysteriously gone missing.

“I know I had my wallet in my pocket, but after meeting Bernie Sanders, shaking his hand, and thanking him for everything he’s doing for the country, I noticed my wallet was missing,” said one woman from Brooklyn. “I noticed it on the way to the car. Really strange.”

She wasn’t the only one: every single attendee only later realized that their wallets were missing. Some women said their purses had apparently been rifled through, with the perpetrator taking every coin and dollar bill, as well as several breath mints and a comb.

Is Bernie Stealing Trump’s ‘No More Wars’ Issue?

Guest Post by Pat Buchanan

Is Bernie Stealing Trump's 'No More Wars' Issue?

The center of gravity of U.S. politics is shifting toward the Trump position of 2016.

“The president has said that he does not want to see this country involved in endless wars… I agree with that,” Bernie Sanders told the Fox News audience at Monday’s town hall meeting in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Then turning and staring straight into the camera, Bernie added:

“Mr. President, tonight you have the opportunity to do something extraordinary: Sign that resolution. Saudi Arabia should not be determining the military or foreign policy of this country.”

Sanders was talking about a War Powers Act resolution that would have ended U.S. involvement in the five-year civil war in Yemen that has created one of the great humanitarian crises of our time, with thousands of dead children amidst an epidemic of cholera and a famine.

Some Things to Ponder

Some Things to Ponder

There’s a push to change laws to permit both criminals serving time and ex-criminals the right to vote. Guess which party is pushing the most for these legal changes. If you guessed that it was the Democrats, go to the head of the class. Bernie Sanders says states should allow felons to vote from behind bars. Elizabeth Warren doesn’t go that far but believes felons should have the right to vote. Democrats want the criminal class to have voting rights restored because they could become a significant part of the Democratic base.

Here’s how Bernie Sanders says he would fund ‘Medicare for All’

Via Marketwatch

Sen. Bernie Sanders knows it’s an uphill challenge to convince Americans they can afford a government-run health-insurance program.

In introducing a new version of his health-care legislation, the Vermont independent and Democratic presidential candidate says, first, that Americans already are paying for trillions of dollars in health costs — to a combination of private insurers and the federal government.

An entirely government-run health-insurance program, as Sanders imagines, would by definition shift those costs onto the federal government.

Bernie Sanders: Felons Should Be Able To Vote From Prison

Via ZeroHedge

Bernie Sanders thinks that convicted felons in prison should have the right to vote.

During a Saturday town hall meeting in Muscatine, Iowa’s West Middle School gymnasium, the independent Senator from Vermont was asked whether imprisoned people should have the right to vote. At present, felons in Maine and Vermont can vote from prison.

What AOC and Bernie Sanders don’t understand about ‘Free Education’

Guest Post by Simon Black

Bernie Sanders believes that FREE university education a “right, not a privilege.”

His fellow Bolshevik, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, also believes that tuition-free university “forms the basis of human dignity” and should be provided for free by any “moral society.”

They aren’t alone in holding these beliefs.

A recent survey conducted by CNBC shows that 60% of Americans support free university.

But what most of these people fail to realize is that there’s an enormous difference between an education and a university degree.

Exasperated Olive Garden Waitress Asks Bernie Sanders If He’s Just Gonna Sit There Eating Free Breadsticks All Night

Via The Babylon Bee

HYATTSVILLE, MD—An exasperated waitress at a local Olive Garden restaurant was forced to ask Senator Bernie Sanders if he was just gonna sit there all night eating free breadsticks or if he was going to order something, sources confirmed Monday evening.

Sanders walked in and the waitress asked if she could bring him a basket of breadsticks while he thought about what he wanted to order. Sanders’ eyes went wild. “Free bread? Oh, I think I would like that very much.”
