Top 99 Luftballoners suspect the Chinese spy balloon was just to distract us from the amazing Project Veritas video : r/TopMindsOfReddit

Have you forgotten the Chinese balloon incident yet?  Don’t worry, you will. It was just a momentary distraction from the slow-motion crack-up of our country. And it came along with a boffo jobs report, led by hiring in “leisure and hospitality.” Oddly, the same month saw a record car re-po number, even higher than the depths of the 2009 Great Financial Fiasco — raising the question: how will all those people without cars actually get to Disney World? And what will they use for money there?

Cut The BS – NOW

What to know about the suspected Chinese spy balloon | CNN Politics

Nobody launches a “balloon” of that sort of size and mass without a means of “de-orbiting” it should it veer out of its expected flight envelope or on command.

I don’t care if China intended it to enter our airspace or not (although I will assume they did); they most certainly had the ability to prevent it from doing so by sending it a command to come down before it did so.  They didn’t do that, on purpose.

Period, end of discussion, full stop.

The Chinese ‘Spy Balloon’ Story As Manufactured Crisis: An Alternative Reading

Via ZeroHedge

Previous constant headlines of the Ukraine-Russia war were put on pause Friday into Saturday as the American public’s attention and discourse got temporarily consumed by the bizarre Chinese ‘spy balloon’ saga, which grew more dramatic by the hour until it was shot down by the Pentagon over the Atlantic Ocean.

But few are currently asking the necessary deeper questions related to the timing. Given the last major balloon crisis to take over 24/7 network news coverage ended up being a complete hoax (remember the “balloon boy” stunt of 2009 which had the world breathless and on edge for a full news cycle?), the current context to the Chinese balloon story and the question of cui bono is worth a deeper dive

From EMP-Delivery To Nuke-Mapping: Potential Purposes Of China’s High-Altitude Invasion

Authored by Brandon Smith via Alt-Market.us

My home state of Montana was recently featured in news feeds this week as the first to observe and identify what the US Air Force says is a Chinese spy balloon. The Chinese claim it is a civilian weather apparatus that was blown off course and they expressed “regret” for the event, but the equipment visible in photographs suggests that this is a lie. Beyond that, another similar balloon has been spotted over Latin America – One wayward high tech Chinese balloon might be believable, but two is not a coincidence.

There are numerous theories as to why such a surveillance platform would be used by the CCP and what it is designed to look for, and I thought I would offer a couple theories based on my years of study into similar projects pursued by the US Department of Defense and DARPA.

FAA Shuts Down Some East Coast Airspace Due To “National Security Initiatives”

Update (1330ET):

Shortly after President Biden reportedly said, “we are going to take care of it,” referring to the Chinese spy balloon that is calmly drifting across US airspace, the FAA has shut down three airports and closed airspace in parts of North and South Carolina:

Possible fighter jets appear to be circling the spy balloon.

US military surveillance plane is circling offshore of North Carolina.

A vessel with a large crane might be headed to an area where the military might shoot down the balloon.

WORLD — In a surprise statement to the world from the White House Situation Room, President Biden has announced America’s unconditional surrender to the Chinese Spy Balloon.

“Listen, folks, it’s over,” said Biden as a single tear ran down his face. “We’re outgunned here. There’s no hope that we can match the awesome power of this giant balloon.”

Biden’s voice was drowned out by the dozens of weeping journalists gathered outside the room.

U.S. — Americans are up in arms after a Chinese high-altitude spy balloon was seen hovering over sensitive nuclear sites in Montana. Biden was quick to quell fears, vowing to shoot down the hostile balloon as soon as he’s done letting it spy.

“Listen folks, that balloon came a long way to do a little spyin’,” said Biden in a meeting with military leaders. “Would be a shame to shoot the poor thing down before it even gets a chance to take some pictures! I remember when me and the boys used to spy on Suzie Anne McGillicutty through her bedroom window after a long day of protesting the civil rights movement. It’s all in good fun, folks!”

LED BARROON

US military commanders have advised President Biden against shooting down a Chinese spy balloon flying over the US.

Reuters said the US military took “custody” of the “high-altitude surveillance balloon” and deployed military aircraft, including stealth fighter jets, to observe it.

Such balloons operate at an altitude of 15-22 miles, well above commercial air traffic. The balloon’s size is estimated to be equivalent to three buses.
