There’s an old joke that used to be funny about the shyster lawyer who asks the defendant, “And when did you stop beating your wife”? It was funny because everyone understood (because people could think, once) that the lawyer was a shyster . . . because the poor man hadn’t ever beaten his wife.

It’s not funny anymore because millions of people can’t think anymore; do not see that they are being shystered by the Gesundheitsfuhrers and the Hyena Media when it comes to assertions about the WuFlu.

Northeastern US states. Enough with the fake pandemic.

Yesterday I went to my local golf club to practice.

(It should be noted it is an excellent golf course yet public facility and subsidized by that county’s tax base, so the following enforcement is local government based in a blue state.)

I was met with the following sign at the door where you pay for the golf balls.

The small range shop, approximately 700 sqft, had its golf merchandise removed, leaving a completely empty retail space. It had also been taped off and resembled a crime scene.

Cuckolded by COVID

Of late, despite flashes of social media mania, there has been heartening focus in a number of countries from policy makers on evidence based COVID responses, localized interventions where needed, encouraging prudent social distancing and hygiene measures. This deserves to be supported.

An Orgy of Incoherence

Each day, in “COVID panic land” statements are issued that are never seemingly challenged, or even questioned, or even unpacked, or even “quizzed” for minimal coherence.

First, just a canopy bit of perspective, quoting Lord Sumption, former High Court Judge in the UK, who has become a lightning rod for speaking out about the mass invalidation of civil liberties over hyped hysteria.

“COVID-19 is a serious disease, but historically it is at the bottom end of the scale. For anyone under 50 the risk of death is tiny, less than for seasonal flu. In the great majority of cases the symptoms are mild or non-existent. Our ancestors lived with far worse epidemic diseases without rushing to put their heads in a bag. In other parts of the world they still do (world-wide, tuberculosis kills many more than COVID-19).”

While there is some outrage evident in Lord Sumption’s assessment, the above statements are all factually true, and can be objectively corroborated. Relative to our ancestral experience with viruses, I will spell that out further below as well, so as to pacify the “here and now” doomsayers.

There are many good reasons to be very skeptical about practically everything we are being told about the WuFlu (don’t dignify this bug by using the term we are being told to use – “COVID-19”- which sounds so much more impressive and scientific. . . so novel . . . but is political and being purveyed to us by the Fear Organ in just the same way that, for those who remember, the attacks upon the World Trade Center suddenly – almost as if a light switch had been flipped – became “911” as the Fear Organ sang that tune in unanimity and endlessly until everyone sang the same tune . . . in order to make it hard to sing a different one).

Tens of thousands of Germans marched through Berlin on Saturday, proclaiming a “Day of Freedom” and demanding an end to government-mandated face masks and “social distancing.” The UK and Netherlands also saw large protests against their governments’ tyrannical actions in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

According to media accounts, the Berlin protesters held signs reading “We are being forced to wear a muzzle,” “Natural defense instead of vaccination,” and “We are making noise because you are stealing our freedom!”

Good for them!
