WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?

During questioning by Senator Ron Johnson in 2013 about the false narrative of a Prophet Muhammed video spurring a spontaneous demonstration, presented by National Security Advisor Susan Rice and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, regarding the Benghazi attack that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans, Clinton angrily responded with her now famous quote.

“With all due respect, the fact is, we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or because of guys out for a walk one night who decide to kill some Americans, what difference at this point does it make?” – Hillary Clinton

I’ve lately found myself saying “what difference does it make” regarding the outrages being inflicted upon myself and my fellow citizens on a daily basis.

I’ve been railing for years against out of control government spending; undeclared never-ending wars across the globe provoked by the military industrial complex; un-Constitutional surveillance of Americans by our Deep State government overseers; the extreme greed and criminality exhibited by Wall Street bankers as they pillage the national treasure; corrupt politicians of both parties paid off to do the bidding of their corporate sponsors; propaganda spewing fake news media corporations; the Deep State running things behind the curtain; and the destroyer of worlds – the Federal Reserve – debasing our currency as they enrich the few at the expense of the many.

DEMORALIZED, DEPRESSED, DETACHED & DEFIANT

I’ve now been running The Burning Platform blog for over ten years. It’s been over eleven years since I wrote my first article – Why We Need Ron Paul – in May 2008 during the Republican primaries. I really thought I could change enough minds through my writing to influence voters and help wake up people to the truth about our deteriorating financial situation. I would send op-eds to my local paper, and they would publish them. My articles on Seeking Alpha in 2008/2009 were the most read and commented on their site.

My assessment of the Wall Street banks, coming financial crisis and recession were accurate enough that I was being sought out by Glenn Beck on CNN, Neal Cavuto on Fox, and Maria Bartiromo on CNBC to be interviewed on their shows. I didn’t want that kind of attention, since it would likely have negatively impacted my day job – which actually supported my family.

The tenth anniversary of the Wall Street created financial catastrophe brought back some bittersweet memories this week. I wrote my first articles during the summer/fall of 2008 for Seeking Alpha. They included: Is The U.S Banking System Safe? (Aug 2008), The Great Consumer Crash of 2009 (Aug 2008), Looming Financial Catastrophe: A Real Inconvenient Truth (Aug 2008), Is Wachovia the Worst Run Bank in America (Sept 2008), The U.S. on the Precipice (Sept 2008), On Board the U.S.S. Titanic (Sept 2008), Our Coming Depression (Oct 2008), among others. I was pumping out 5,000 word articles every 2 or 3 days.

GREY CHAMPION ASSUMES COMMAND (PART TWO)

In Part One of this article I discussed the arrival of Grey Champions in previous Fourth Turnings; their attributes, deficiencies, and leadership skills; and why Donald Trump is the Grey Champion of this Fourth Turning – whether you like it or not. Now I will try to make sense of what could happen next.

Seventy year old Donald Trump has assumed the Grey Champion flagstaff. In an increasingly chaotic world, normal working class Americans in flyover country were seeking a leader who could bring order, defeat the corrupt establishment, make tough decisions, and capture the zeitgeist of this moment in history. The ruling elite oligarchs and their fawning minions, occupying their strongholds in New York, California, Illinois, and D.C., are infuriated the peasants have dared to resist. In their secretive secure spaces, the elites are plotting with one purpose in mind – this uprising must be quelled.

ADMIN’S MOVIE DIRECTOR TAKES OVER TRUMP CAMPAIGN

Kind of a shocking announcement from the Trump campaign this morning. The Donald and I now have something in common. In my early blogging years I seemed to attract the attention of some mainstream media outlets. Glenn Beck and Neil Cavuto both asked me to be on their shows. I declined. Then I started getting emails from someone named Steve Bannon.

It was late 2009. He said he was a documentary film director and he was making a movie about the financial crisis. He had been reading my articles prior to and after the crisis and he wanted me to be in his documentary. I politely declined. But he was persistent. He was going to be in NYC interviewing other people for the documentary and convinced me to participate. I worked all day. Jumped on an Amtrak train at 5:30. Went to the hotel where they were recording. They put makeup on me and put me in front of the camera and told me to start talking. I was as nervous as hell, but I did it. I took the train back and was in bed by 12:30 am.

Months later in 2010, the documentary Generation Zero came out. I brought my wife and kids to NYC for the world premier. I was in the movie for a total of about 30 seconds, but I was in it. I kept in touch with Steve for a couple years, but after he took over Breitbart we haven’t connected. He seemed like a decent guy. I hope he can help Trump.

MY CONNECTION TO ANDREW BREITBART

Oh Boy!!! Is the Administrator somehow mixed up in the murder of a conservative website mogul by the President of the U.S.? This could do wonders for visitor counts. You will notice the name Steve Bannon in the story below. This is the same Steve Bannon who directed my movie debut in GENERATION ZERO. I’ve since been on his radio show and have kept up an email correspondence with him. He’s a good guy. But, his movie was financially backed by Citizens United, before the Supreme Court ruling. I consider that one strike. A few months ago he contacted me about getting involved in one of Breitbart’s new ventures. Bannon is or was creating a new website called Big Finance and he asked me if I was interested in being the editor of the site. In my opinion, Breithbart was too far to the right. He supported Palin and the neo-con fringe of the Republican party. I let the whole thing drop. There is no way I could support the right wing neo-con agenda of the Republican party. It sounds like Bannon is ready to pick up the mantle and continue to the war against Obama. I suggest he stay away from small planes and make sure he knows who prepared his meals.

Filmmaker Steve Bannon: Breitbart‘s Tapes of Obama’s College Years to Be Released in 7 to 10 Days

I have videos, this election we’re going to vet him,” new media mogul Andrew Breitbart proclaimed at this year’s CPAC event.

Breitbart was, of course, referring to clips that allegedly show President Barack Obama during his college days — videos that the media leader claimed would show “why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008.”

These tapes, which have inspired conspiracy theories surrounding what led to Breitbart’s death on Thursday of natural causes at the age of 43, are now purportedly going to be released (Glenn Beck has strongly cautioned viewers against jumping to conclusions connecting the tapes to Breitbart’s death).

On Thursday evening, Steve Bannon, a writer and documentary filmmaker (“The Undefeated”), told FOX News‘ Sean Hannity that Breitbart’s company will release the mysterious Obama Harvard tapes within seven to 10 days.

After Hannity brought up the tapes that Breitbart said “would change this election,” Bannon gave more information regarding when the public can expect to see them.

“There‘s a set of tapes and we’re going through it,” Bannon announced. “The staff…the guys are going through a series of tapes of President Obama at Harvard and…we’ll come back to you in a week or two and show them here on the Hannity show.”

“In one week, we’ll have these tapes?,” Hannity asked.

Bannon confirmed that they should be ready for release in a week to 10 days.
