Sessions vs. Trump . . . vs. Us

Without consent, what have you got?

Just force.

The Constitution articulates the principle of consent – that “the people” agree to its terms and conditions – to be governed by it – and that without their consent, the government has no legitimate claim to govern them.

This is the principle at the bottom of the debate over medical marijuana – as well as the debate over recreational marijuana. If the people of a state consent to it, by what right does the federal government oppose it?

And it’s actually just one Fed – the attorney general of the United States, Jeff Sessions. He has personally decided to hurl thunderbolts and lightening at any state which dares to abide by the will of its people by decriminalizing the possession, sale and use of marijuana – whether for medical or recreational purposes. He has decreed that he – personally – will send federal hellhounds to prosecute those who legally – insofar as the laws of their state are concerned – defy his personal anti-pot animus.

Just Say No to Jeff Sessions

undefined

Attorney General Jeff Sessions kicked off the New Year by reversing the Obama-era guidance for federal prosecutors to limit their enforcement of federal marijuana laws in states that have legalized marijuana for medical or recreational use. In what is almost certainly not a coincidence, Sessions’ announcement came days after California’s law legalizing recreational marijuana sales went into effect. Sessions’ action thus runs counter to the wishes of the majority of the people in the most populous US state, as well the people of the 28 other states (and DC) that have legalized some form of marijuana use.

You Have to Be High to Be Mad at Jeff Sessions for Enforcing Federal Pot Laws

Guest Post by Kurt Schlichter

Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who himself seems stoned much of the time, just announced that his Department of Justice is going to start enforcing the federal laws against pot again despite a bunch of states doing a bong hit version of bombarding Ft. Sumpter. Look, no one is more annoyed than I am that Sessions decided to megapunt on his duties with regard to Democrat corruption and the Trump/Russia/Idiocy pseudo-scandal, but he doesn’t deserve all the grief he’s now getting from agitated hopheads and fussy libertarians – to the extent there’s a difference.

Dude, you’re like, harshing my buzz, dude.

The Inevitable Gravitational Dynamism of Entropy

Bronze Sculpture, “The Myth of Sisyphus” by Emile Gregoire (1871-1948)

Entropy is the general trend of the universe toward death and disorder.

—James R. Newman (1907–1966), Mathematician and Math Historian

Everything degrades over time without exception. Of course there are diverging regenerations within time’s decay but all is fleeting and cannot last. Just as the laws of thermodynamics universally define, a system will exist in a particular state and may cycle through varying states, but in the end, it will return to the equilibrium, or stasis, of inert uniformity. Life is a like a rotating heat engine of sorts, catapulting energy over the cold fabric of space-time as the lexicon of Physics continuously hold singular meaning in our daily existence: laws, work, heat, constant pressure, and cycles. Yet, sadly, total efficiency is achieved in theory only; this is because entropy precludes perfection within the confines of time.

Stabbing With Their Steely Knives, They Just Can’t Kill the Beast

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor…

– Ezekiel 28: 15-17

In horror stories originating from the times of the first songs there have always been common enemies.  Creatures of sinister intelligence, blind violence, disingenuity, clever crafters of schemes, or often containing the capacity for all of these; lurking in the dark, or hidden in plain sight, but always waiting and watching.  Little Red Riding Hood and the Three Little Pigs suffered through the antics of wily wolves. Rapunzel and Hansel and Gretel agonized before the wicked wills of warted witches; and with Jack of Beanstalk fame it was jeering giants who longed to grind his bones for bread, alive or dead.  Star Wars had Darth Vader and the Lords of the Sith, whereas it was the evil eye of Sauron that ruled over J.R.R Tolkien’s shadowy land of Mordor.  And for most of the world’s religions today it remains Lucifer, the morning star, who fell from heaven by the weight of a prideful heart and now reigns as the Prince and Power of the Air; tempting, taunting, and tantalizing, all of mankind.

Jeff Sessions Endorses Theft

undefined

Attorney General Jeff Sessions recently ordered the Justice Department to increase the use of civil asset forfeiture, thus once again endorsing an unconstitutional, authoritarian, and increasingly unpopular policy.

Civil asset forfeiture, which should be called civil asset theft, is the practice of seizing property believed to be involved in a crime. The government keeps the property even if it never convicts, or even charges, the owner of the property.

Policing for Profit: Jeff Sessions & Co.’s Thinly Veiled Plot to Rob Us Blind

Guest Post by John W. Whitehead

“Laws are no longer made by a rational process of public discussion; they are made by a process of blackmail and intimidation, and they are executed in the same manner.”— H.L. Mencken

Let’s not mince words.

Jeff Sessions, the nation’s top law enforcement official, would not recognize the Constitution if he ran right smack into it.

Whether the head of the Trump Administration’s Justice Department enjoys being the architect of a police state or is just painfully, criminally clueless, Sessions has done a great job thus far of sidestepping the Constitution at every turn.

Most recently, under the guise of “fighting crime,” Sessions gave police the green light to rob, pilfer, steal, thieve, swipe, purloin, filch and liberate American taxpayers of even more of their hard-earned valuables (especially if it happens to be significant amounts of cash) using any means, fair or foul.

The Eyes: Windows to the Soul

I wouldn’t be surprised if the week of March 20, 2017, will go down in history as a Fort Sumter-like spark which began a cascading series of events that will soon spread like wildfire, engulfing the entire world with inescapable social and political ramifications.

On Monday, March 20, 2017, elite banker and rabid globalist, David Rockefeller, died at the age of 101.  Whenever I think of this disturbing fellow, I picture him behind a mask at a party with Stanley Kubrick and Tom Cruise in that dark mansion from the movie, Eyes Wide Shut.

Although the mainstream media has mostly reported on Rockefeller as a philanthropist, he was, in fact, someone who the journalist and former LBJ aide, Bill Moyers, once called “the unelected but indisputable chairman of the American establishment”.

Rockefeller himself once said:

Some even believe we {the Rockefellers} are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States… If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.

In a 1991 Bilderberg group meeting in Baden, Germany, that Bill Clinton also attended, Rockefeller additionally acknowledged the mainstream media’s collusion with, and commitment to, the New World Order.

He said:

AG Sessions Makes Surprise Sanctuary City Announcement; Vows To Withhold Funding

Tyler Durden's picture

Moments ago Attorney General Jeff Sessions made a surprise appearance at Sean Spicer’s daily White House press briefing to announce that his DOJ will be taking steps to not only require that so-called “sanctuary cities” enforce federal immigration laws but would also be seeking to claw back past DOJ awards granted to those cities if they refuse to certify compliance.

“Today, I’m urging states and local jurisdictions to comply with these federal laws.  Moreover, the Department of Justice will require that jurisdictions seeking or applying for DOJ grants to certify compliance with 1373 as a condition for receiving those awards.”

“This policy is entirely consistent with the DOJ’s Office of Justice Programs guidance that was issued just last summer under the previous administration.”

“This guidance requires jurisdictions to comply and certify compliance with Section 1373 in order to be eligible for OJP grants.  It also made clear that failure to remedy violations could result in withholding grants, termination of grants and disbarment or ineligibility for future grants.”

“The DOJ will also take all lawful steps to claw back any fines awarded to a jurisdiction that willfully violates Section 1373.”

On Those Without Honor

by Uncola via TheBurningPlatform.com

On Tuesday, February 28th, 2017, President Donald Trump addressed a joint session of congress with a speech that was widely praised, even by his most fervent critics.

Each American generation passes the torch of truth, liberty and justice, in an unbroken chain all the way down to the present.  That torch is now in our hands. And we will use it to light up the world. I am here tonight to deliver a message of unity and strength, and it is a message deeply delivered from my heart.

In his address, Trump claimed that positive immigration reform was possible as long as lawmakers focused on goals to:

improve jobs and wages for Americans, to strengthen our nation’s security, and to restore respect for our laws.

He offered his vanquished opponents in the Democratic Party much to consider even lamenting the $6 trillion spent in the Middle East in favor of a $1 trillion infrastructure investment here in the United States.  He further expressed his desire to solve many other “pressing problems” involving the economy, the national debt, healthcare, education, poverty and crime.

Sessions: ‘Dictator’ Obama flooding rural towns with illegals

Via The Washington Examiner

A chief critic of President Obama’s open door immigration policies on Thursday slammed him as a “dictator” who is filling rural towns with illegal immigrants instead of turning them away at the border and telling them to enter legally.

Alabama Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions said that the administration’s plan to ship some 2,000 illegals to his state has been met with the same outrage as other efforts to take undocumented immigrants seized in Texas and Arizona and house them as far away as Massachusetts.

“They feel like this is a dictator from Washington who will not listen to the people’s concerns and they are very concerned about it,” Sessions told Secrets after a speech to the Security Industry Association in downtown Washington.

“It’s just maddening,” he added. Sessions said that the administration is eyeing military bases that don’t even have housing as the destination for the illegals.
