Breaking News!! Technological Discovery of the Century!!
What has prompted this thread are the various “vaccine” threads we’ve had in the past couple weeks. Specifically, it has to do with the Scientific Studies wars.
—– The pro-vaccine group has ample studies supporting their argument.
—– The anti-vaccine group has just as many ample studies supporting their argument.
Nothing wrong wif dat. I have nothing against Scientific Studies. (If it’s unbiased real science, of course.) The problem is that most lay-people, such as myself, are really and truly not qualified enough to understand them to the extent we can make informed commentary.
Not to mention that not 1 in 1,000 of us who post such “studies” actually read them ourselves!! We find something that supports our view, and then post it as PROOF … so, there!!
I have found two videos (3 min 39 seconds total) that humorously (imho) point out the conundrum of understanding scientific gobbledygook —errr — studies.
