We sold our house for $425,000.
The original mortgage …. FIFTEEN YEARS AGO was for exactly that amount …. $425,000.
Ms. Freud often makes a bigger payment than needed … to be applied to principle. Therefore, I estimated that our mortgage balance would be about $325,000 – $350,000.
We just yesterday got our Mortgage Payoff Statement from Select Portfolio Servicing. It is $430,000!!! We’re underwater??!! After fifteen fucking years of payments the balance INCREASED by $5,000??????
It’s much worse than just a $5k deficiency. SPS is claiming we haven’t paid the mortgage in nine months! This is a bold faced motherfucking lie!! Soooo …. we supposedly need to bring $38,000 dollars to the closing table. #OverMyDeadBody
