A Unique Teacher Imparts Real Life Lessons

At 0:10, you get a taste of this guy’s awesome personality.

From 0:20-1:00, hear glowing reviews from his students.

At 1:20, I become convinced he’s a WIZARD.

At 1:50, he puts a ton of trust in his students.

At 2:20, learn his teaching process and how he relates to his students.

At 3:00, he tells you the kind of issues he hears about.

At 3:45, this is where you learn about his remarkable son Adam.

At 5:20, he’s going to earn your undivided attention here.

At 6:19, learn exactly what his son has to deal with.

At 7:18, I started to tear up.

At 8:40, his daughter finds a ray of hope.

At 9:10, he emphasizes that it’s not important how things work, but why they do.

At 10:00, see how this amazing lesson touches all his students.

At 10:20, there’s a heartwarming moment between father and son.

At 10:48, ………. I lost it.

Merry Christmas, folks!

It will just be a matter of time before this man is shut down. He is a danger to the powers tb. Learning with real examples? That could put your eye out man. Sheesh, we need many teachers like this. And to think even the low life lazy ass teachers can keep their jobs and he gets no better pay then they.

Maureen Dowd says we don’t need men.

Maureen Dowd would have stuck this boy into an institution if he was her son. He would interfere with her social schedule.

This man is a hero. So many others too, I bet.

Thanks Stucky. Peace to TBP and all who frequent.

It is a fucked up world, but this site makes it possible to live another day.

It’s amazing the teacher’s union haven’t drummed this guy out of the system. And he’s got to resort to physical comedy teaching to get past the low attention level of students. Whatever, it seems to work. His regret at what the kids “have to go home to” is honest. It’s a shame there is no going back to the time of his childhood, our childhood, when things made sense and were stable. But we don’t need white males anymore, no matter they built this country, and this guy being a prime example of the good. It’s good, positive, productive people that still instill motivation, learning, and the reaching for goals and dreams. So much hate, censorship, and mind control these days, and counter-purpose to learning what is really important. Nice to have a reminder.

Nice work. You cannot shake your STRONG Christian upbringing. And that’s a good thing. Discuss it with Ms. Freud. She’ll agree with me.

Merry Christmas.

We lived in Louisville for 20 years. One of the amazing things about the place still is the magnet school system that is part of the public schools, Louisville Male H.S. is part of this. Our daughter went to another (their “arch rival” Dupont Manual H.S.). Think of this as a separate system, just about like private academies, within the public school system. Each of these schools has their areas of focus. To get in, you have to apply and go though an interview process and pass on the merits of your case, which did include your earlier academic accomplishments and what you bring to the table that would make you a worth while student. So, while it lasts, this is one of the fairly few public systems that your child can still good a good seceondary school education.

Thanks for that. Mr. Wright is an example of the power we all have to decide how we respond to adversity: we can wallow in self pity and/or anger, or we can choose to transcend the problem to become a better human being. In his case, he has become a channel of love to all within his orbit. I think his faith has something to do with it.
