HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM JAPAN

I’ve been wondering about videos like this. Somebody at the sea shore on the West coast or Hawaii with a Geiger counter. One seems to have emerged, and if it’s to be believed, it’s rather scary.

Nuclear meltdown and radioactivity, the gift that keeps on giving. I’m glad I don’t live in California. It may not be safe to swim there for at least 40 years.

Has Fukushima’s Radioactive Wave Already Hit California?

Health officials confirm spike in radiation on San Francisco beach but have no answers

Predictions that Fukushima’s radioactive ocean plume would hit the west coast of the U.S. sometime in 2014 may have already come to pass, with a new video showing Geiger counter readings of background radiation at a beach in San Francisco over five times the safe level.

Days after a YouTube video emerged showing background radiation at a Coastside beach reaching over 150 micro-REM per hour, Health officials in San Mateo County confirmed the spike but said they were “befuddled” as to its cause.

However, officials dismissed the possibility that the readings could be linked to Fukushima radiation reaching the west coast despite forecasts by experts last summer that radioactive particles from Fukushima would reach U.S. coastal waters in 2014.

The video shows a man measuring radiation readings at different spots on a beach south of Pillar Point Harbor. Background radiation in the areas immediately surrounding the beach are normal, but once the man approaches the water itself, the radiation spikes to at least 500 per cent safe levels and the Geiger counter’s alarm goes off.

The man behind the video claims that on his previous visit to the same beach, radiation readings were 13 times the safe level.

“In the following days, other amateurs with Geiger counters began posting similar videos online,” reports the Half Moon Bay Review. “The videos follow other alarming news last month that starfish were mysteriously disintegrating along the West Coast, a trend that has not been linked yet to any cause.”

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and state Department of Public Health are now investigating the cause of the radiation and more information is expected to be released this week.

While officials will almost certainly downplay the situation in order to prevent panic, it’s important to remember that genuine public health crises are virtually always preceded by government duplicity.

TEPCO and the Japanese government have repeatedly been caught lying in their efforts to downplay the scale of the Fukushima disaster. In September it was confirmed that radiation readings around the power plant were 18 times higher than previously reported by TEPCO. After a tank leaked 300 tonnes of toxic water in August, groundwater radiation readings at the plant soared to 400,000 becquerels per litre, the highest reading since the nuclear accident occurred in March 2011.

EPA officials in America also lied in the weeks after 9/11 when they told rescue workers and the general public that the air at ground zero was safe to breathe. According to insiders, EPA officials knew that the dust in the air was laden with asbestos but chose to cover up the truth, leading to at least 20,000 ground zero workers suffering debilitating illnesses and numerous deaths.

Mainstream media outlets have also largely toed the line on Fukushima despite overwhelming evidence of a cover-up of the true scale of the crisis by Japanese authorities. Former MSNBC host Cenk Uygur was told not to warn the public about the danger posed by the meltdown at the Fukushima nuclear plant during his time as a host on the cable network.

Concerns that the federal government is preparing for some form of nuclear emergency have heightened after it was revealed that the Department of Health and Human Services has ordered 14 million doses of potassium iodide, the compound that protects the body from radioactive poisoning in the aftermath of severe nuclear accidents, to be delivered before the beginning of February.

As I write, they are writing an app for this, no worries. Actually, a Geiger counter app……..yes, I would buy that. The left coast libtards especially must be losing their minds right now.

I’m seriously thinking of a biz-op providing monitoring of radiation for business and residential in Socal. Just like spraying for bugs except you sweep their property with a geiger counter once a month. What do ‘ya think?

Lessee here…….

Coal: lethal particle pollution, extreme environmental degradation in mining the stuff, mining extremely hazardous to miners, aging coal-fired plants emit as much radioactive effluvient as do nukes

Gas- explosion hazard, hydrofracturing (“fracking”) results in extreme environmental degradation and requires (and pollutes) massive quantities of water.

Nuclear- well, we see the hazard with Fukushima.

There are no good choices if we want to continue as an advanced society. Let the people who want these fuel sources to be faded be the first to give up regular 24/7 electricity, clean water from the tap, cheap food, household appliances, cheap mass-produced clothing, CARS, PLANES, modern medicine, paved roads, emergency response (timely or not) and every other advantage of living in an advanced civilization….. even solar panels and wind turbines, because these last are extremely advanced devices whose manufacture requires copious fossil fuels, vast supplies of reliable electricity, and rare earth materials.

Given what our life expectancy and average health will be if we are forced to return to pre-tech lifeways, I tend to think we’re better off with the nukes. Or even the coal.

I keep hoping my fears about Fukishima will prove overblown but that looks less and less likely. If ever there was a monument to the stupidity and utter lack of imagination of which corporate controlled governments are capable, this is it. If one asks oneself just how corrupt and dangerously incompetent is the political “leadership” of the United States, Fukishima seems to provide the answer. WTF!! Obomber and his bosses wouldn’t dare to challenge the sovereignty of Japan and organize an international effort, employing the best scientists and resources to combat this disaster.Oh no! The US would never impose its will on another country! This is possibly the greatest real national security threat the US has ever faced, and all Obomber and his pals can do is manage the usual media whiteout.I guess they’re too busy auctioning off what’s left of the country through the Trans Pacific Partnership to notice that the Pacific itself may become a radioactive dump site. What? Do these assholes think that their portfolios protect them from cancer. Have they already been buying up land in Argentina?

As I understand it, Tepco built some sort of moat attempting to block radiated groundwater from reaching the ocean and is storing some of it in leaking tanks. Needless to say since the supply of groundwater is virtually infinite, this is doomed to failure. Would it have been possible to divert the ground water from the reactors BEFORE it reached the site, channeling it into the ocean safely? I suspect so, even if it required some of the largest mining equipment in the world, machinery not readily available to Tepco or the Japanese government. Could this have helped the situation? I have no idea. I do know the usual snow job from Washington is not protecting the west coast of America.

Kill Bill, I’m not sure about Big Foot, but the Obamanable Snowman is alive and well in Washington.

Would someone please point out to me why I’m an over reacting lunatic in need of reeducation by the authorities before my head explodes. Where’s my cup of soma? I’m sure there are free medications for people like me in the new healthcare system.

My prayers continue to flow to those on the West Coast, you are being used as test-monkeys to see how much radiation, and for how long, can float around humans before/without causing illness and death.

Don’t feel too special though, all of us ‘murkins are being used to test radiation in our food supply, since we no longer test for it we could all be getting irradiated without even knowing it.

And, of course, keep in mind that I live in Michigan where our population has been used as the FDA and Big Pharmas own personal lab for over a decade. We aren’t allowed to sue when the drugs harm or kill us, unlike the rest of y’all. So please pray for my friends and family too. We are being sacrificed so that others may live long and pop more meds.

Plus, we need to keep in mind that the entire youth population, and much of our senior, is being used as labrats for vaccinations. Quick, how is it that the largest percentage ever of our population is getting vaccinated for the flu, yet the severity of the flu outbreaks continue to get worse? Oh yeah, some bullshit about herds and immunity and incorrect strains. Try this: nature will find a way and when you remove one, less virulent, method of herd reduction nature will come up with a better way. I’m sure that lowering your immunity for other diseases is a great idea when the new virus comes buy.

At this point we are confronted with more proof than the common man has EVER had access to that
we are being intentionally murdered by rich men that continue to get richer and their fucking rich toadies in government and the media that lie to us and/or cover this shit up and tell us how it is our faults we are dying.

Anyone continuing to buy into ANYTHING the government/major corporations is selling sadly deserves part of the horror headed their way.

Too bad that those of us that don’t buy it, don’t support it, and risk personal insult and injury to try and awaken others will pay too.

I’m researching building my own greenhouse right now, this shit just keeps getting worse and the safest food and medicine seems to be the kind I control myself.

Another Fukushima update:

1400% Radiation Hot Spot Found on San Francisco Beach

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
January 8, 2014

Following reports of abnormally high radiation readings on a beach in San Francisco, experts have discovered radiation hot spots measuring 1,400 per cent above normal background levels, although they are keen to stress there is no link to Fukushima.

As we reported on Monday, after a viral video emerged showing a man recording measurements of over 150 micro-REM per hour, 500 per cent normal background radiation, on a beach south of Pillar Point Harbor, San Mateo County officials confirmed the spike but said they were “befuddled” as to the cause.

In a new development, El Granada electrical engineer Steven Weiss, a 40 year veteran designer of Geiger counters, took his own measurements and found hot spots that were returning levels 14 times normal background radiation.

“It’s not normal. I’ve never seen 400 cpm when I just wave my Geiger around.” Weiss told the Half Moon Bay Review. “There has to be something radioactive for it to do that.”

After studying a dirt sample in a spectrum analyzer, the substance was found to contain radium and thorium, which are both naturally occurring radioactive elements. No evidence of cesium-137, the fissile material used in the Fukushima reactors, was discovered, leading Weiss to conclude that the radiation had no link to the nuclear plant in Japan.
