OBAMA’S WAR ON MEN

Obama just keeps breaking records for ineptitude and creating despair. The charts below detail the huge success of his economic policies. I think even liberal morons would agree that men between the ages of 25 and 54 years old SHOULD be working. College is behind you and it is time to earn money, raise a family, save for your retirement, and become a productive part of society. When the Obama recovery began in the middle of 2009, 10% of all men between the ages of 25 and 54 were not in the labor force. That was already an outrageously high number.

Now, after 5 years of “economic recovery” spurred by massive Keynesian debt spending, zero interest rates, government handouts to Wall Street, and the introduction of free healthcare for all, 12% of all men between the ages of 25 and 54 are not in the labor force. Now that’s real progress. I bet Obama can get that figure to 14% before he leaves office with accolades from the liberal media pundits. Who needs working men anyway?

The fact that 17% of all men between the ages of 25 and 54 are not working is a shocking enough figure, but even the politically correct conservatives refuse to go one step further and examine the BLS data regarding the racial breakdown of working men. Obama is supposedly the champion of the poor and minorities. He won over 90% of the black vote in the last election. It seems that 30% of all black men between the ages of 25 and 54 years old are not working. And this doesn’t even count the black men in prison in this age bracket.

You get more of what you encourage and promote. Why are there twice as many black men as white men not working during their prime employment years? Because they don’t have to. They can live off of the working population through food stamps, Section 8 subsidies, SS disability, and the myriad of other welfare programs supported by Obama and his liberal control freak minions. Everything Obama does is a detriment to creating jobs. Every Keynesian waste of tax payer dollars has kept the market from truly recovering. Every new regulation to save the earth deters companies from hiring workers.

The rollout of his disastrous Obamacare abortion has already resulted in layoffs, small business closings, and reduced hiring by all businesses. And the worst aspects of this law haven’t even been implemented. His brilliant idea to raise the minimum wage to $10.10 would provide a real boost to the number of 25 to 54 year old men not working. He’s the gift that keeps on giving.

The consequences of men in their prime earning years not working are far reaching and dire. This puts a halt to family formation, home buying, car buying, contributions to the Social Security system, income taxes needed to pay for all that government waste, and the mental stability of men who feel worthless without a job. Throw in the massive build-up of student loan debt among young men and you have a powder-keg ready to blow. The upcoming financial crisis will be the trigger to unleash a hailstorm of anger, violence and rage. It’s uncertain who this will be unleashed upon. Hopefully, the ire is focused where it belongs on Obama and the government. The war has just begun.

“There are currently 61.1 million American men in their prime working years, age 25–54. A staggering 1 in 8 such men are not in the labor force at all, meaning they are neither working nor looking for work. This is an all-time high dating back to when records were first kept in 1955. An additional 2.9 million men are in the labor force but not employed (i.e., they would work if they could find a job). A total of 10.2 million individuals in this cohort, therefore, are not holding jobs in the U.S. economy today. There are also nearly 3 million more men in this age group not working today than there were before the recession began,” the Republicans on the Senate Budget Committee claim…

Although defenders of the current economy attribute shrinking labor force participation to the increasing pace of retirement of the Baby Boomer generation, these new statistics above confirm a trend that Barron’s recently diagnosed: ‘The ratio of those over 55 in the workforce actually ticked up’—in other words, older Americans are being forced to return to work in a poor economy to make ends meet while many younger Americans simply aren’t working at all. In short, there is an unprecedented supply of working-age Americans who do not hold jobs.” – Daniel Halper

That hailstorm of anger ,violence and rage will work both ways. Most are not going to let mobs of criminals loot and destroy their neighborhoods. These people voted for Obama . Now they suffer the consequences.
It also tells me these people living off welfare will in no way be prepared for a collapse. Once again they can suffer the consequences. I am at the point were I have no sympathy or empathy for these people. Just as Christ said ….. because of lawlessness the love of many will grow cold.Stealing my money thru taxes so people can sit on their ass and do nothing is lawlessness.

I know that Obama is the target of most of our anger however he has a complicit CONgress that has aided in his pillage . They pass laws that take away our rights ( NDAA ), tax laws meant to hurt businesses and laundry list of laws that do nothing but increase the over-sight of the government into our day to day lives . So let’s put the blame on where it should…on every SOB in in Washington .

Hmmm, more men are dying from suicide than accidents. I’d call that a reaction to ObamaNomics. The liberal progressive socialists have their “mission accomplished” banners flying, as more people are dependent on the government than ever before. Obama’s economic policies aren’t about working or jobs, it’s about being dependent on the government, and therefore voting for more free shit and therefore voting for democrats ad infinitum.

When Obama/Shrillery run out of other people’s money, then they get run out of office. They won’t let that happen. The MyIRA scheme is designed to get dupes to buy government IOU’s so they can continue to spend borrowed money. When that fails, they will confiscate wealth, first in off-shore accounts, then domestic bank accounts and IRAs, after raising taxes to 80%. Obama and the liberal progressive socialists will steal every penny not nailed down, to redistribute to the ever growing FSA. They have to, they run out of money to redistribute, the game is up.

Steve Forbes: Link dollar to gold or face Great Depression II

By Paul Bedard | June 3, 2014

Influential financial publisher and former presidential candidate Steve Forbes is out with a new warning that the U.S. faces an economic catastrophe due to the Federal Reserve’s loose dollar policy, and returning to a strict “gold standard” is the only way to avoid disaster.

In Money: How the Destruction of the Dollar Threatens the Global Economy — and What We Can Do About It, Forbes blames President Obama’s money team for the stagnant economy, high prices, declining mobility and big government.

“[The Fed’s] vastly misguided monetary policies are now setting the stage for a new economic and social catastrophe — one that could rival the financial crisis and horrors of the 1930s,” he wrote in the book co-authored by Elizabeth Ames.

Just like many financial conservatives have advised in the past, notably former Reps. Jack Kemp and Ron Paul, Forbes said that economic prosperity can come only if the dollar is linked to gold and not printed willy-nilly at inflated rates.

“The best way to achieve monetary stability: linking the dollar to gold,” he wrote in the book out today. “The Fed should have only two tasks: keeping the dollar fixed to gold and dealing quickly and decisively with panics,” he wrote, according to excerpts provided in advance to Secrets.

Sadly, most of the folks who did vote for him that I know are falling for that crap that the evil, awful Republicans are standing in the way, otherwise he’d be creating jobs left and right.

He also would have close Gitmo and let the Patriot Act expire had those evil, awful Republicans not stopped him. Of course, when I bring up that over 75% of the Democrats in Congress voted to renew the Patriot Act after campaigning on a platform that called for letting it expire, the most common answer I get is, “see! They’re willing to compromise and the Republicans aren’t! They just stand in the way.”

I think that if you are waiting on those who voted for him waking up to reality, you’re in for a long wait.

“Municipal wage floor would be more than twice the federal minimum.”

There’s the real take-away, and the nature of the problem, as I see it. Exactly how many businesses in Seattle with more than 500 employees are there that don’t already pay 15 bucks an hour…besides the government?

I’m guessing not that many.

let’s quickly review what obama has done (forget all the stuff on the margin like race baiting, pigford, benghazi, fast and furious, bowe bergdahl, etc. etc.):

massive increase in spending
massive increase in taxes
obamacare
common core
nationalized student loan business
nationalized GM
turned illegal aliens loose
turned wall street loose
turned EPA loose
turned IRS loose
foreign meddling in libya, syria, ukraine

i’m sure i left out a few. anyway, my question is, what will he do as an encore as the country slides into the pit of hell? my guess is a presidential pardon of criminals en masse. and he’ll do it with that phony smile on his face as he flies off into the sunset drinking champagne with reggie and kal penn.

Don’t forget the power of federal subsidies to keep many complacent and under control. Lots of good comments here but the bottom-line I always harp on is that those who receive government subsidies are protected from financial stress – or bankruptcy.

Because the federal reserve exists, politicians don’t have ANY motivation to be financially responsible like growing millions of desperately needed good jobs and reducing our debt.
Politicians (via the Fed) simply throw monthly subsidies at as many constituents as possible to keep their loyalty – and get their votes at election time. This is NOT just democrats or republicans – IT’S BOTH.

All the construction projects around our country only give the impression of economic vitality. The truth is that the worse things get (more debt, lack of growth of good jobs, dollar devaluation, etc.), the more the government and the media ignore this or lie about economic “recovery”. Unfortunately, union workers are doing most of the construction projects and they only represent about 14% of our population. As the middle class and small business (the backbone of our economy) become weaker, so does our country.

Again, economic disintegration and collapse may be inevitable but before this actually happens, the only chance of avoiding this is complete political reform starting by replacing both democrats an republicans and breaking the influence of big money in our political system. Why would anyone want to allow themselves to be exploited?

Unfortunately again, too many citizens have become too financially dependent on the federal government and so they view reform as a threat to their monthly subsidies whether earned or not. If many citizens would rather just get by with monthly government checks instead of forcing reform to have enough opportunity to find good jobs and be truly prosperous, then economic disintegration and collapse are assured.

Another side to this, to me as an employer, is that it’s getting so darn hard to get anyone to work. Everyone who wants to work is already working.

“The consequences of men in their prime earning years not working are far reaching and dire.” ………….. Truer words never spoken.

What a sick notion…….. that we’re somehow special and can be choosy about what work we’ll do and for what wage we will work. Or not work at all and force someone else to pay our way.

Admin says “The fact that 17% of all men between the ages of 25 and 54 are not working is a shocking enough figure”. Then he so accurately points out what racial demographics are doing to the numbers.

When you consider blacks are about 13% of the population, and 30% do not work, then you get 4 percent of the 17% is related directly to blacks. There is another 1 million or so black men in prison.

Allowing for these aberrations, around 14% of non-black working age men are not working.

That is an appalling number, no matter how you cut it.

It should be fun to watch the exodus of small business out of Seattle. Greener pastures, here they come.

@AWD “When Obama/Shrillery run out of other people’s money, then they get run out of office.”

The phrase “when they run out of other people’s money” is outdated…didn’t they run out of money about 17 trillion dollars ago?

Linking the dollar to gold would be suicidal for America.

The cost of borrowing for Federal government spending would skyrocket and we couldn’t afford our wars and overseas military bases. Cheap foreign goods would dry up. Our standard of living would decline

America’s only solution is to keep printing dollars and back them with guns not gold.

“Seattle minimum wage jumping to $15 an hour”

Progressives see the minimum wage hike as win win for them.
A)Those who benefit will give progressives there vote.
B) Those dependent on welfare from jobs NOT created from the minimum wage hike will give progressives there vote.

Progressives are the worst.

@Admin: “The Seattle measure carves up city employers into four groups and gives them between 2017 and 2021 to meet the $15 mark. The proposal would phase in the wages over three to seven years, based on the size of the employer and the benefits offered. Federal and state wage rules typically apply the same minimum to all businesses. ”

Hell, with the way inflation is going to go it won’t be an issue!

I believe it was President Lyndon Johnson that said in so many words, I am going to give the blacks as much as I can in government dollars and benefits so that they will be perpetually tied to the Democratic Party. Then we will continue to have complete control of the government and can do whatever we wish. ( Google it to read the exact wording)

I see the democrats staying in power. They have the whole bribing people thing down pat.
Sadly the American people don’t think enough to support a third party or vote libertarian.
Many jobs now are part time at 29 hours. With the travel taking two hours a day of your pay for gas.
So many people aren’t even getting ready for what’s coming. People who think they are ready, really aren’t. Its to much to even be ready for.

It isn’t just “Ob ama’s” war.

Nor is it just the Demonrats.

Michigan has a Repukican governor. Here is a list of what Mr. Fiscally Conservative and friend to (big) business has done:

Raised minimum wage to $9.25, even though the last time the state did this (2005/2006) unemployment shot up

Gifting Detroit $195 million to backfill pensions (after millions and millions and millions already throw away)

Gifted GM, Chrysler, Ford, A123 and dozens of other big corporations tax abatements

Accepted Medicaid expansion under Ob amacare

Destroyed family hog farms, and soon will be destroying ALL urban animal farms, including a turkey farm a mile from my home that is being run by the fifth generation on the same land.

And those are just the monstrosities I can remember off the top of my head, there have been many, many, other, spending debacles the bastard has approved, if not created.

BOTH sides gift to the rich guys and the FSA. BOTH sides are destroying our ability to take care of ourselves.

Both sides.

It is not Ob ama’s war on men.

It IS the ruling elite and ALL politicians War on Self-Reliance. The PTB do not want us to be able to care for ourselves or our families. That way they can do whatever they wish and the majority will bleat in line waiting for their rations.

Men just happen to be hit hardest, first. We are ALL screwed.
