It’s as memorable and telling as Judge Napolitano’s “What if…” question in many of his provocative columns.
TBP readers: If you have the interest and the time, get the dvd set of Rod Serling’s “The Twilight Zone.” This is a series that was well written, well acted, well produced. The stories will stretch your mind and get you thinking. You’ll enjoy ’em all.

We have quite a few of the Twilight Zones already and wouldn’t mind having the whole set. It was very well done. And is still very watchable.
And I agree with Bea… the current situation is too farfetched to make it as a NG script.

The Outer Limits used too many rubber monsters. TZ had a lot of bizarre situations with a heaping dose of irony. They are entertaining but they violate the story telling rule that the reader should know all the facts at the beginning of a story. Like O Henry, Rod and his writers liked to use plot twists and surprise endings.
The Twilight Zone fits the times we live in:
1. It would be ironic for a born-again Christian to foment a war against a foreign despot who dissed his dad.
2. It would be ironic for a foreign born President to deport more illegals than any other president while securing a green card for his relatives.
3. It would be ironic for a candidate who failed at running a casino, an airline and several marriages, to make himself a celebrity among the unwashed by hosting a show firing business failures and using that celebrity to promote his candidacy for president.

of no concern to any but me , I despair due to child in hospital , im not dealing with it well .
I have anger issues , despair issues ,unable to deal with shit issues atm .
I have been lashing out at everyone issues .
I have I do not understand issues.
I have physical pain issues ,where I have fallen from being unable to carry my child to the car to take my child to the hospital .
I have failed in what I consider the most important thing . PROTECT MY CHILDREN !!
I failed .
I would give everything I am or will be for my kids , and yet it is of no avail .
I studied everything , to give them a chance , and yet , no matter how far I get into the medical field ,
the medical field has no solutions(((((((((((((
It is terminal , I will outlive them .
Thus I despair and am not very socially acceptable atm.
You all who have healthy children , count your blessings and pray that nothing that is statistically improbable ,as in never happened in your entire family line, never fucking happens !

EC, I gave you a thumbs up because I’m on the computer that has thumbs right now. We actually own ALL of the Outer Limits shows. Nick got them somewhere a couple years ago. You are right… lots of hokey monsters, but still good stories for the most part.
Night Gallery used to scare me so bad I couldn’t sleep when I was a kid. Some of them are still disturbing to me… There is one episode about the “Sin Eater” that I still have a hard time with… not sure why.
Anyway, having thumbed you up, I will let you know that I think I’ve had a successful bunny mating. The little guy’s neck seems to be better. Good enough for him to do what I need him to do to make more bunnies.

I grew up on them. Bought the whole set about 15 years ago and the kids love them (and Alfred Hitchcock Presents, too)
I have noticed over the years that a lot of the TZ episodes are SJW platforms. Mostly geared to accepting the other, not making value judgments, traditions are antiquated- that sort of thing. I always make sure to discuss them with the kids afterwards to see if we can find meaning in them, like Aesop’s fables. They are intrigued by Serling’s smoking habit during the intros.
